The Warmaster; we see no problums in your request. You will be sold a 2 acre tract of land along the South shore of Lake Pontchartrain on the North side of our capital city of New Orleans.

Due to the fact that real estate in and around the city of New Orleans has increased so much due to the expansion of government in the capital city as well as citizens who work for the government, the two acres has to be sold. Our old embassy exchange would work in the fashion that if you give us land, we would give you land but we are having a hard time with that.

To make more room for people in the city of New Orleans, land has to be cleared, water pumped out, swamps destroyed, and levee's built for the simple fact that the city is surrounded by water on 3 sides and the city is anywhere from 4 to 5 feet below sea level.

The cost of the land will run about $200,000.oo per acre, OR you can choose to have the old embassy program, but the embassy will be located in the town of Hammond on the North shore of the lake. This area is not apart of the city of New Orleans either so you couldnt have as easy of access to Louisianaian government buildings.

We are sorry for the inconvience, but we are currently undertaking programs which intern will create an additional 25 sq. miles of land for New Orleans to expand and it is a long drawn out process.
