The Reich withdraws from Southern Hitlerreich

Kaiser Martens

Today, in München, Kaiser Martens himself arrived to sign the liberation of the Reichs' territory in Southern Hitlerreich.

It must be remembered that the Hitlerreich war had broke out when that nation attempted to annex Ostmark, and Kaiser Martens arrived belatedly to this battle but proved to be a force to be reckoned with, and managed to hold onto almost one fourth of the original Southern Hitlerreich territory without causing polinational bloodshed. From that moment Martens had made sure the place would be rebuilt after having been devastated by the Communist Hordes, and he became the Lands' protector. Now after several years of thorough reconstruction and reorganization of the former Hitlerreich lands, Martens granted them their freedom, so they shall be no longer a "Kaiser Martens Protektorat" like a few others, but they will become the Süddeutscher Zustande (Sorry if some nation is called that) instead, a democracy, although they will remain closely tied to Martens' Reich and the Silberunion as allies.

It is unknown why Martens chose to free those lands, perhaps because they have become self suficient, but rumor has it that the troops are needed elsewhere and that the long distance travelling from one land to another was hurting the economy. Whichever the case is there was a great celebration as the Kaiser Martens flag was replaced by the Bayer white and blue squared flag.
