Lord Commander of the Military Council, Morath, stood before the myriad peoples in the Chamber of Decision, calling all eyes to him as he walked in, his imposing figure drawing attention to him.

He stalked to the podium, and quietly cleared his throat. Instantly, the entire Decision Council's necks snapped round to watch him, as Morath was not known to be entirely kind towards what he considered disrespect, nor entirely sane.

He raised one hand, and began speaking. "Gentlemen. Today is a great day in our history, as the finest project of the Realm is about to take place. It will consume many resources, but these are but a drop in the sea of the power of the Realm to be. Today, we embark on a great voyage towards Realm security and respect. Today, the Realm will show its true power to those who doubt it!"

He spoke in a compelling, deep voice, one that makes you feel you are safe, but at the same time knowing that your safety is totally reliant on the whim of this voice.

He paused for emphasis, and went on. "The Realm will construct the greatest project known to man. The Vdarak. This battleship is a powerful warship, but contains a large Singularity gate, so our ships can travel to it, no matter where it is. There will be three Vdaraks, all to ensure the continued safety of the Realm!"

The crowd remained deathly quiet. From such a man, they expected the building of an ultimate weapon. But Morath was intelligent. He knew the worthlessness of an ultimate weapon if there was no way to move it. He had begun to provide the ultimate protection against whatever enemies they may be. For, if an enemy had an great cruiser, the Vdaraks could easily outwit it...

Lord Scientist Verik began sending the details of the ships to Duke Worker Gii.

The Vdarak will require 17 years to build, and perfect. We can overlap the building times so the total building time is 30 years. More detail later, have Research Council meeting.
