Dear Kellin-

I got your message, and have decided that maybe its time for us to meet again. I could book a flight, Dad'd be more than happy to send the cash to pay for tickets. Where could I meet you?

Kellin paused for a moment while reading the letter. The razor dropped out of his hand. He didn't have much of a manly beard but it was still there. He coughed and rubbed his hands together in a demented manner. The bags under his eyes disappeared and he straightened his back.

Dear Vicky,
Aye then! Hmm. Well at this moment I'm in Cashel, Ireland for a Moot. It'd be wonderful if you stopped by and I showed you our homeland. I'm sure I can't do it justice but I'll try.

Vicky got the letter, and replied, "Sure, Ireland sounds nice. Never been there, first time for everything. I'll be there as soon as I can get a flight."

Sure enough, she booked the flight, and was later soaring on a 747 to Ireland, wistfully carrying a load of baggage and a heck of a lot of dreams.....

She landed in Dublin International, and rented a car, a simple Ford. Driving out to the country, she headed to Cashel, where Kellin said he'd be.

Sure enough, she got into town....

Cashel had become a fortress town and a seat of power for the Hannon clan. It eclipsed the sky with ramparts and arches and men sat there who could wipe nations from the earth with a word. The gates opened and the car was guided in quickly.

Kellin stood at the head of a group of soldiers, smiling for all the world like a madman, he came towards the car and embraced Vicky warmly.

"How're yae doing in my new nation so far? It's really quite amazing being at the head of everything here. I still haven't gotten a good night's sleep since my uncle's wake. Come on in and I'll tell you all about it if you'd like."

He led her into the modern-day castle as planes floated overhead.......
