The Story:

just a week ago, the Foxsteni government arrested 4 terorists that were going to assasinate a government official, and even the President! Upon interrorgating these evil men (We have ways of making them talk! :D) They all claimed to have been Concadorian citizens! They also claim to have been funded by the Concadorian government to kil the Foxsteni president in an assasination (which, fortunately, failed)

Foxstenikopolis prepares:

The Foxsteni government called this "An act of hostility towards The Union of Foxstenikopolis" The nation is now on high alert, as people train for war! Citizens are going to government sponserd movies to teach them "How to fight in a guerilla war", just in case the military is defeated. The nation is preparing for an onslaught. The Foxsteni president gave a speech to the people, in a military parade (There was lot's of security, of course) telling them that no matter what life throws at you, You are Foxsteni's! And if the country is occupied, they must preserve the Foxsteni way of life through hard times, or oppression!

Foxsteni military overview

Here is a basic overview of what we are preparing for this war.

100 tanks,

20,000 infantrymen,

10,000 anti-tank soldiers,

150 mechanised infantries,

50 cruise missles,

43 mobile missle launchers (good for artiliery) ;)

We also have thousands of logistics people ready, and another 5,000 soldiers will protect the supply line. Foxstenikopolis is still recruiting, though! And order has already been sent to bring back all the soldiers in Theba, and that should double our defense force.

Foxstenikopolis is now telling Concador to explain it's actions, and arrest any remaining terorists, or face Foxsteni military intervention.

The Chancellor received news that Foxstenikopolis was declaring a pre-emptive strike against the nation of Concador. He was not pleased that such a war would occur, especially when there wasn't sufficient evidence against Concador. He quickly called a meeting with the Foreign and Trade Minister, Adrienne Zavar and they discussed it and decided the best of course of action, diplomacy should reign supreme.

Message to the President of Foxstenikopolis,
I have recently received reports of a pre-emptive strike against the nation of Concador. What evidence besides the words of terrorists do you have to prove that they are responsible? They could be lying for numerous reasons. We ask that you calm down and that you attend a peace conference in Imperial Center between you and Concador so we may resolve this situation peacefully.

A small naval fleet (14 ships--see portland Ironworks' Light Invasion Fleet)

I've thought of that, and I haven't struck, or even officially declared war yet, for the same reasons you posted above. I'm only getting ready in case conflict does break out. I'm giving him a chance to explain.

Those men may be Concadorian Citizens, as we have recently begun to suffer from Homegrown terrorism, but I assure you they were not funded by us.

I don't believe the lying scum, but what if they tell the truth? I must stay ready.

Can't believe I for got my airforce! The nation spends most of the military money on the Airforce, so even though my ground forces may be relatively small compared to yours, my airforce is much larger. It is one of the most respected and feared in the region.

They may have also had Concadorian fake ID's. I do not want to see a war fought because of a lie. I don't want people to die for no reason, but the nation is on high alert, and I will do all I can to prevent more terorism.

100,000 troops from around the country are being sent to the coastline.

(ooc-For all those observers who are going to say "Godmod-his army is too high for such a small attack--this is gonna be dumb", don't worry, we worked it out.)

OOC2: I may post a few more times tonight, but I can't come back on until Tuesday night. Attack if you want, but keep in mind that although I'm not here, my forces are.

OOC: If you can't be here until Tuesday, that's ok. We'll hold it off until then. Telegram me when your done roleplaying for a while, and then telegram me when you get back.

IC: Ok. We are currently withdrawing troops from other countries, and they should be here by Tuesday.

The People's Republic is concerned by these alleged acts of aggression against Foxstenikopolis. If these allegations can be substantiated, we will be more than happy to pledge our support, as state sponsored terrorism is a threat to the security of all nations.
However, in the mean time we support the efforts of the Dracun Imperium in promoting a peaceful resolution to the crisis.

Japanese Antarctica demands that Foxtenikopolis halts its mobilization of troops until a proper investigation has taken place. There is no need to fight a war unnecesarily.

South Africa does not understand why Foxstenikopolis feels the need to attack the innocent nation of Concador. To us, this reeks of blatant imperialism, which must not be tolerated, save for its cancer spreading.

Therefore, my government has authorised the deployment of the 3rd SA Mechanised Division to Concador to help stave off any possible attack. They will be withdrawn if negotiations are successful.

These are the homegrown terrorists! I swear, they were not employed to attack you--in fact they recently carrried out an attack in Munbuz, our capital. I highly doubt they attacked you, as their fight is with the goverment of Concador--unless you have done something to incur their anger. If you have, it's your fault, not ours.

I am willing to help you defeat these terarists, but how do I know you are not lying?
