ISF Command has issued this message:

"Due to events where other Republic Members had apparently fired upon ISF Ships. WE Declared Martial Law, and they refused. We attempted to hold our power and faild. We are requesting help from any nation that is not freindly to the Republic. WE must crush them, and destroy them!"

Te ISF Space Fleet was in bad shape . Sixth, Fith, and Eght Fleets had been reduced to mostly rubble, having been the garrison forces for the Republic worlds. First Fleet was badly mrauded. Second and Third fleets had been reduced to about half ther original firepower. Fourth fleet was the nly one that had come out totaly unmollested. Seventh Fleet was currently out on the borders of Republic Territory. They were in cloak, everythingvirtuialy hsut down. Having teir crew stripped and replaced with AIs, they didn't need life support, and could use their engines more powerfully, because they didn't have to worry about the radiation. They had just come out of dock where they had been refitted with the AIs.

The remaining fleets, aside from Seventh Fleet, were combined into the Grand Fleet. Their numbers were barely over 10000, having the majority of them Superdreeadnaughts, Dreadnaughts, and Assault Carriers. Command and normal carriers made up the bulk of the rest.
The entire force of cruisers, aside from the rare few, were destroyed. Few Battlecruisers remained. A few hundred Light Carriers were left, but they were scarce. Few ships had taken no damage, most had taken a lot.

But they had suceeded in fightingoff the Reouboic forces long enough for the planets to jump. No one, exept for those on the planets, knew where tehy had jumped to. A simple 'Jump Complee' had been sent, assuring the ships that they were safe, but the state the planets were in was unknown.

However, one thing that the ISF had done was to ensure that they were created. The date that the Devastator and Hellbore had orriginaly been created had passed, and they had jumped, without a crew, but with a sleeping AI, through a black hole. They had assumed to have reached their space near Terra, where they would be found in a few hundred years and be inhabited by the predecessors to the ISF.

Ic: Kazecistan has issued the following statement.
All nations of the Galaxy, The Republic fired on ISF ships only in self defense. ISF had no right under any law, spoken or unspoken, to declare martial law over the rest of us. He threatened our military and civilians with death. He attempted to take control of the republic and rule it with absolute power. This is not what the Republic stands for. We resisted and succeeded in holding off his madness. Please see this for what it is and DO NOT come to his aid.

OOC: What exactly is godmodding? Moving planets? It can be done, but it is quite risky. Probably half the populations are dead. But they would much rather be dead than enslaved. And about the number of ships, I took them down to a thrd of their normal level. And most of the ships are damaged, a lot of them heavily, most of them have a medium amount of damage, and 90% of the rest have light damage

ooc: The number of ships, dammaged or not, could not have been built and mantained by your population, ever. 10,000 dreadnoughts and super dreadnoughts?

Theres about 1,000 SDs and DNs. And As i've said before, this is representing the military buildup of over 1600 years. It takes aproxamatly 1 year to build a DN. That's 1600 right there. And i built about half a dozen DNs and SDs a year. About 3 were ost per year, or decommisioned, or whatnot. So now there's only about 600 DNs and about 400 SDs. Less actualy. Most of the others are Assault Carriers and Command Carriers. Those are the easiest to produce or keep hidden.

OC: I thought i sould just say FT is a GM to some. And besides why sould nation age limet your rping? if you want to have 3 billion people and your a month old fine. Just rp it out make a history. Hell i know people who have a million ships my fleets are 300,000 stroung. I rp it out Hell my nation has been in space for 1,000 years so XP. Just dont say your ships are uber powerful and cant be beat. Numbers however if rped out are fair. Oh and Tag lol

That, to me, says that more than 1,000 of your ships are Superdreeadnaughts or Dreadnaughts.

I, and most others, go by the NS account you have. That's why these are the NS forums. And having unlimited ships makes you invincable beacuse those who play fair get crushed.

set a course and jumped to the edge of Republican space, in the hopes of making peace.

The fleet arrived at the border, and Star Marshal Gregory sent this message to the nearest Republic becon:
"This is Star Marshal Gregory, of the Red Star Fleet. I come in peace. We are greatly concerned about the recent conflict, and wish to make peace between the sides. Will you allow us to enter?"

"We will allow you to enter. However, this is a war zone, so be prepared to defend yourself if something goes wrong."

Kazecistan sent this message: Kazecistan will allow you to enter it's space. We do, however, wish to inform you that previous attempts at diplomacy have failed, and that he has already fired shots at Republic ships. As our motto goes "resistance is futile" so are your efforts. Kazecistan out.

As the fighting drags on, strange anomalies and standing waves begin to appear on sensing devices along the frontiers of republic space. These always seem to occur in the midst of the hottest fighting, preventing immediate investigation. Sailors of the Republic fleets start rumoring of "Space Ghosts", each side assuming them to be a weapon of the enemy...

IC:Truly we as the republic should not impose on others. I am new and only a citizen so I have no power to do anything, but I propose that ISF apologize to the republic and either leave or return to peace.

I mean not to sound threatining, but Kazecistan could take ISF and the rest of us loyalists could hold off reinforcements.

OOC: In an outright slugging match, Kazec has the edge. In fighters, I have the edge. Sheilding in indeterminate. Kazec has different types of sheilds than I do, and it's ahrd to compare their effectiveness. WE're about equaly matched.

Oh, and don't say what I call them. My people are not sperstitous. They don't belive in 'space ghosts'. Their sensor anomalies. And we havn't battled yet, aside from the retreating battles from their worlds.

OOC: If they call them "Space Ghosts", it's not because they're cave-men in space. But if you don't want your people calling them that, then I apologize.

Thank you for the complement, but that is up for debate. As a citizen of the Republic you do have a political say. If you read the "The Republic, all new members read" thread, your opinion is respected and valued. You can contact your senator for representation, or you may post in the "Actions" section on your opinion.

Apologizing and going back to peace was a suggestion back before he started shooting us. There was a trial and diplomatic relations could have been restored, but he chose to continue his path. I believe the point of no return has been passed.

ISF, your fighters would have a hard time with my shields, but when working with such numbers, could be effective.

And Vilence, 1) god awful color and 2) I'd like conformation of that from H-L.

Oh yeah, the rumor thing, I'll let it fly.

I formally request that ISF and anyone collaborating with him please stand down. We don't need (as much as I hate to say it) a large scale war here.

What is it that you want ISF? can we not send delegates? If needed, I shall rallie my men and so will the rest of the loyal republic (opnion) to defend the Republic from traitors(I.E. ISF) and incompetent dogs (those who try to help him for no good reason). I ask that we make peace, before I have to take "drastic" directions.

1. Vilence, I hate you. I really, truly, honest to god, hate you. I have never in all my time on NS found someone as annoying as you.

2. This has nothing to do with anything, but ISF, stop calling Vilence Vilince, it bugs me.

3. Please pospone this until Monday when I get back from my aunts farm and can actually participate; at the moment it would be fruitless for me to attempt and keep up in any war or other RP at the moment.(Tho I still will be online to take part in the Senatorial Meeting, so don't worry Kazec and all other Republic members)

4. To all other nations involved, I'll explain what really happened. ISF Devastator decided to make an RP on our forums about his leader actually being a robot and almost getting assasinated. So, to help protect other Republic nations from assasination, he sent guards to each nation. But almost all nations refused to accept these guards for they suspected something was wrong; and there was. ISF rigged his ships to cause damage on the Republic nations and get us to attack his ships so he could say we have become unstable; meaning he could declare himself "Governor of the Republic" and declare martial law so he could rule. We refused and tried to have a fair trial for him but he became difficult and now war is the only way to go.

5. I have to go now so if I've forgotten something to say, I'll either add it later or forget about it. :D

It wasn't me who rigged the ships.

Oh, and i've decided to go along the diplomatic route. Check the Republic Forum. So no civil war.

And I think 'became dificult' is somewhat of an understatement.
