It was announced today by the DOD that the USFU will star research and production on advanced technologies that will allow it to defend against interstellar and long range missiles. The program will be called IAMS, or Interstellar Anti-Missile Shield, This system is to be used in star system to protect against interstellar missiles and long range bombardment. Research and actual production will take at least 5 years to complete totally.

Know that we currently employ an extensive array of defense networks in many of our heavily populated systems, and even have minimal defense sphere and Ionic Cannon platforms that defend even recently colonized Systems.
Also, we employ planetary terrestrial based defense cannons and planetary shields that may prove useful as well. However we only offer our services, and refrain from more until the offer is taken.
