Just the bitchfest from last night

ok then. I wasnt exactly involved in it so i'll delete anything from that tiem but i didnt really add anything in OOC there

Compared to what Sergei has been in, the instructor is nothing, here's the rundown, the 4 hour story is just the bare bones of his major event, he was trapped on a planet for eight months, you cannot carry enough ammo, the only way off the planet is held by the enemies of his people, who would do anything to get him(you'll learn why tonight), he has a bodyguard of one short marine company, 90 men, ten shuttle pilots and 2 civilians, when they got off the planet there were 5 of the marines left, three pilots and 1 civilian, they had fought their way across a planet against barbarian hordes, at one point they were in almost constant combat for three days with a force numbering nearly fifteen thousand strong, they lost half the force there, next they crossed the territory of the guys they'd beaten.

They were trapped by a wannabe emperor, he had them fight his nearest target, they turned on him, beat his army and killed him, they lost another 5 men doing it, then they crossed the mountains, no losses in the mountains, but on the other side they were ambushed by a pack of omnivorous lizards, they look like Triceratops but they're the size of elephants, they lost 10 there, and 15 badly wounded, in the next town they relaxed, they faced down a merc company and caught them by surprise with no losses on either side, later on they are attacked by another horde of barbarians, the mercs help out and after some bickering over the price, they join up, then they train an army of laborers into soldiers in under a month, they take their new army and use it against the barbarians who attacked them, they then take part of the army to the next city, where they train another army, this time they fight the whole enemy horde, all nearly 100 thousand of them, they win, only three marines die here.

Then they cross the ocean, at this point they're attacked by a giant fish, another five are dead, after the attack the company is down to about 12 guys, they have, however, gotten an infusion of about three hundred native infantry and cavalry, they make it across the ocean without further losses, they meet the civilization on the other side and discover that they're cannibals, although they're not picky, so people will do just as well, they fight their way out of the city with no human losses, eventually they meet up with the tribesmen who are being used for the cannibalistic rituals, they hold a fortress against nearly 50 thousand well trained infantry, they win again, again there are no human losses, although Sergei is badly injured.

They then take the spaceport on the plateau with the help of the tribesmen, after they take the port they rest up and re-equip with new, modern, equipment and powered armor, they decide to seize a tramp freighter, only to discover that it's a covert insertion ship for a commando company, they lose seven marines before calling in native reinforcements, armed with plasma and bead cannons the natives trash the ship and the enemies onboard, then the captain of the ship sets the self destruct, the first mate agrees to turn it off for them, but before this happens the commander of the marines is killed by the captain with an anti-armor weapon.

They make it home and they foil a coup that has displaced his mother, the woman he fell in love with dies in the assault, as well as his mother, he takes the throne for a time, but eventually loses a civil war, he and two others manage to escape, they are enlisted by the MM government as specops men, he is the only survivor, in the end he has fought longer and harder than any other man alive, and he’s lost more too, all of his loved ones, his friends and companions, his fiancée, and his surrogate father, he has a reason to be confident in his speed and skill.

Noting that, I will be a bit more circumspect, although the instructor is still weaker than someone bred on a world where the natural gravity is three times earth normal.

Just so nobody gets pissed, like SE, the protocols are one of those active mods that Sergei mentioned, they activate on their own, in this case it senses that he's about to drop and floods his body with a chemical that makes caffine look like nyquil, but he has a minor problem with the protocols, as you may have noticed.

i was on basically all day except for when i was eating, or when i was gone working out for about an 1 1/2 hours. I just wasnt on the site. Notice also that that post was last night, which was like 11:00 for me but 3 on this.

I was on most of the day saturday... but sunday screwed me over so yeah, and I also look atr my threads, and looking at my threads I decided to cut my story down from three pages to three posts.(yes pages, it's a long story, ask Theao)

Sergei finds Iliyakim as a kindred spirit, he wants him to understand what has made him the way he is, and he wants to help Iliyakim realise that by dieing he won't help his family at all, he'll just be dead, mostly Sergei thinks that Iliyakim and Tylas are the only two at SESOU who have any idea of how bad the world really can be, he trusts him because they've had similar experiences.

True, but Sergei is a fallen idealist, he can't give up hope or else he's lost himself, and then he'd go on a very massive homicidal rampage.

OK, but it'll have to be tomorrow, and I'd prefer to do armed combat with blunted blades, and high-tech "fencing suits"(I'll explain more later)

Colonel James Cougar is one of Snake Eaters' more renowed soliders. Although it is not entirely doucmented where he actually works, he is known by many soliders throughout the forces for a number of reasons

At the age of six, James Cougar watched as his parents were executed by the Helghast invasion. His brother was already dead, having died fighting, and his sister has never been found. It is not known why they were executed and others were not, and so it is assumed that this was simply a random act of violence. Although the Cougar family was what could be termed aristocratic, James Cougar has since turned his back on that life and followed his own path.

At the age of eight, he was sighted fighting in the Small Boy Platoon, high in the Cobrian mountains, still fighting the Helghast survivours wherever he got an oppurtunity. It was noted at the time that he appeared to have exceptional leadership qualities, which were unfortunatley followed up by a fool-hardiness that led him to take dangerous risks causing multiple injuries. To our knowledge, this is still one of his downfalls, but he has had an astounding success rate in all certified military actions he has been involved in

At the age of thirteen, he joined the army as a line trooper in the Colonial Marines, and was assigned to the Black Angels Company. After an incident three years later, when he was given the Leviathan Medal of Honor and promoted to Sergeant, he seemingly dissapeared from the company, and rumours tell that he was taken into SESOU's (Snake Eaters Special Operations Unit) most elite divison, SHADOW. However, there is no proof that this is true.

As all SESOU members are given commissions upon course completion, it is easy to assume that he was given the rank of Lieutenant upon his graduation at the age of seventeen. In the intervening eleven years, he has risen to the rank of Colonel, replacing his predecessor and mentor (known only as The Master) as commander of his unit, following his mentor's death when Cougar was twenty-two.

Prehaps the most unique thing about Cougar is what he can wield with regard to magick. Cougar is the bearer of the White Flame, a holy power gifted by Leviathan to one Snake Eater every hundred years. Recent studies have shown that it is due to a unique gene mutation, which manifests as a White Flame. Cougar gained this power following his defeat of Kaelis Ra two years ago. Prior to that, he wielded the Black Flame, which is now theorised to be merely a precursor to the White Flame, which is only achieved if the bearer survives and is truly pure of heart. However, there is no evidence to support nor rebuke this theory.

At this moment in time, Cougar lives in the Queendom of Kaymiril with his wife, where he spends his time working on control of his magick. However, it is known that he returns perodiically to Snake Eaters in order to participate in operations. No information is avaliable on these operations, due to reasons of national security.

Cougar has demonstrated qualities that suggest that he was born a solider. However, he does have a tendency to take risks which can injury him or his companions, something which he defends by saying that 'If you don't take risks, what's the point in living?'

Born Roger Sergei Catrone he was a prince of the Empire of Man, third in line for the throne, but he grew up as a arrogant peacock, instead of a proper ruler, more concerned with looks than with politics, at the age of 22 he was sent on a diplomatic mission by his mother, his transport was lost and he was presumed dead, approximately a year later he returned and took back the empire from the instigators of the sabotague that damaged his transport, he then held the throne for a short time, but lost a short and very bloody civil war, after escaping just ahead of his enemies he became a mercenary, Captain Sergei of Sergei's Raiders, later he was given a rank by the DMC and lived in the Terran Dominion, he eventually volunteered for specific modification project 7, he was one of three survivors, now he is training witrh the SESOU to develop the abilities he gained during his modifications.

Trained mainly as a sniper, Tylas can also use his muscular frame as a weapon in itself, schooled in combat and martial arts by his famous sensei, Kay Bi Dell. Though a feirce fighter, Tylas is prone to go by his insticts, which can prove good or bad when he is fighting. Also, Tylas has a rare blood type O which can cause complications if he is mortally wounded. The good news is he has an elevated amount of endorphines so he feels less pain and recovers faster when incredibly hurt(but only when he is in large amounts of pain).
