We can put the 4th MEF to Sea immediately and will dispatch several support fleets to assist in this matter. We also have two airborne divisions at Posideon for the now finished Botswana campaign. The main portion of our army remains in Sweden and England and we can spare both armored, light armored, and mechanized infantry for this mission. It will take some time to load these forces and deliver them to Africa, so we need to seize a port, establish a beachhead so my conventional land forces can become involved. Total War Declared On The Maritime Republic by North Germania

ROME (TFP)- The Teutonic Order of North Germania has declared "total war" on The Maritime Republic of Zeeeland following a series of remarks made by Zeeeland's foreign ministry declaring that North Germania are "Nazis". The remarks are a reference to the former National Socialist party of Germany, a party most Germans now renounce and whose ideas have been restricted so much that laws have now been passed barring their utterance and closely monitoring for anyone who does.

No one is quite sure why Zeeeland uttered the remarks, which have been soundly denounced by Romans all over the Empire as "inappropriate", although several Romans have stated their displeasure with North Germania's handling of the situation. "Sure, the Zeees have displayed an aptitude for inappropriate remarks and immaturity," said Roman Liberty Taskforce member Jason Morea, "but it's just as immature to go to war over an insult- they've let the teaser get the better of them, and instead of walking away and retaining their dignity, they stoop to their level and fight, after which they will only gain enemies. This is just like crying over spilt milk- sure it's upsetting, but get over it."

Despite the usually warm relations between ourselves and Zeeeland, we have decided that the Zeeelandish leadership has acted irresponsibly towards our greatest ally and must be changed for the good of the people.

South Atlantic Ocean, Outside of Equatorial Guinea...

The total destruction had begun.

Thousands of missiles launched from the Fks-119 and Fks-120 Missile Ships tore through the air, and rained the fires of Hell on Zeeelandish military installations, naval bases, bunker defenses, SAM sites, military airbases, and anything else that would get in the way of the land invasion of Equatorial Guinea.

Flying at 42,000 feet, 50 Fzb-1 Stealth Bombers each delivered their 44,000 pound payload of 18 Fk.-26 LzG (JDAM) missiles towards any troops, tanks, artillery on the ground, or any ships on the seas.

Using their unique stealth system, giving the bombers an RCS of 0.0007, any SAM sites in E. Guinea didn't even detect their presence. Protected on all sides by a shield of 75 Fzk-9 Stealth Fighters and 25 Fzk-11 Stealth Fighters, the bombers had little to worry about.

Underwater, the three stealth attack U-Boats kept a constant look-out for enemy subs, and on water, the battleships kept a close watch for any advancing ships.

Now launched from South Africa, an additional eight Stealth Attack U-Boats, five battlecruisers, and ten Fallschirmjäger Aircraft Carriers were roughly 12 knots from the fleet.

After hours of bombarding Equatorial Guinea, as well as its island to the Northwest, the Fallschirmjäger planes were launched from their massive carriers.

The first signs of the invasion of Moldova had shown: thousands of rockets and artillery shells pounded the defenses of Moldova incessantly, roughly eighty rockets and one-hundred-thirty shells per minute.

150 Fzb-18 Heavy Bombers, escorted by 75 Fzk-11 Stealth Fighters, flew overhead, each firing 72,000 pounds worth of Fk-20s (heavy missile), Fk-26s (medium-sized missile), and Fk-30s (air-burst, cluster missile) LzG (JDAM) towards the ground. After sixteen hours of GPS-guided artillery bombardment and INS/GPS aerial bombardment, the 9th Panzer Division and 33rd Infanterie Division - supported by the 52nd Luftwaffe Division, 13th Arzt (Medic) Division, and 20th Artillerie Division - all led by Generalfeldmarschall Heinrich Hertzmann pushed into the borders of Moldova, wreaking havoc on any enemy forces they encountered...

The Scharnhorst II Class Battleship the Vengeance was sailing parrallell to the coast. On the deck a member of the Neuvo Rican naval infantry corps minitered the shoreline with a pair of binoculars. Further out at sea was a large marine assault force, guarded by a large group of cruisers. The observer flinched... one of the massive turrets on the ship let rip in the direction of a settlement on the coast. Already hundreds of Harrier GR7s and AV 8Bs were flooding inland from the Illustrious class supercarrier out at sea.

Landing craft were now moving towards the coast, full of Marine units and their Ghurka officers. The observer smiled at what he saw ... the village was in flames. And behind that he saw the GR7s launching strikes against any ground targets... This was a massive landing, the men on the ships said prayers, the first one hit the shore and the doors fell open...

The troops rushed ashore, and found cover on the beach, securing a perimeter and enabling more troops to come in behind. Above them an EH - 101 let off rockets at resistance around the beach. Thousands of marines were now flooding ashore, and overhead the noise made by the F - 35s was deafening.

Out across the Atlantic, several TU - 160s had taken off to join the fray, escorted by a squadron of MiG - 31s. The bombers were to deliver a fatal payload to inland cities.

Off the Coast of Guinea-Bissau

Carrier Battle Group Stinger and Battle Strike Group Lee steamed at 24 knots towards the coast of Guinea-Bissau. The attached submarines to both groups had been in the area scouting for surface combatants and minefields for quite some time. At zero hour (6am local time) the first wave of sorties began. The small nation was still over the horizon but these first sorties would be vital to establishing Air Superiority in the campaign. The first wave of 71 F/A-91B's took off heading NNE to targets with Guinea-Bissau, as 14 F/A-78KB's flew fighter cover for the invasion force. The initial attack would be in two waves. The first wave carried a host of weaponry, most noticeably the ARM missile specifically utilized to destroy ground tracking radar installations. This would be the first action the newly acquired planes would be in action and expectations were high, it cost a pretty penny to purchase the rights to these weapons of war. The two Aircraft Carriers attached to the MEF would not participate in the intitial bombing sorties, as they would be held back for reserve in case they were needed to soften up an targets that were hardened. There use would be primarily to support the Beach Assault the 4th MEF would launch in the coming days. If all went according to plan, the entire Force would be in place off the coast in 14 hours. Marines readied themselves for the impending invasion, men went ot mass, final preperations were made, live ammunition was passed out, and men made there peace with god before they were in action.

As the first attack wave approached the coast 75 feet off the deck the squad leader barked commands.

Planes decended on the defensive installations in and around Jemberem and Cacine and were absolutely merciless in there strikes. A target rich environment was had for sure. Each plane had a compliment of eight hard points slung with a variety of deadly weapons to include Mavericks, Mk-84's, Side Winders, and ARM missiles. The huge cadre of weapons available on each plane made them deadly for the mission they were assigned. As the planes rolled out and began to ascend to 50,000 feet after they had depleted there bomb load, fires below burned black with an oily stench filling the early morning sky.

Kline led the F/A-78K's to touchdown and rolled up to the refueling stations and hangers being manned by the North Germanian ground crews. He had his squadron space out the planes for combat readiness, each plane would face the tarmac ready for scrambling within 5 minutes if the call came. Each plane was armed to the teeth with the latest weaponry and was ready to bear down on The Maritime Republic.

Why is it that the big countries all team up to take out the little ones? Especially North Germania. First, the Teutonic Order's unprovoked attack upon Duke Barol. And now, he uses the excuse of Zeeeland's condemnation of this act of aggression (although Zeeeland could have cut out the Nazi thing) as a reason to go to war. And furthermore, all the other nations of the Roman Confederacy or whatever alliance shouldn't be entering the war. Everyone claims that it is a "mutual defence" alliance, but you are just using that as an excuse to invade smaller nations at your will and be ensured with victory by overwhelming numbers. For God's sake, leave Zeeeland alone. It was Zeeeland's government, not the army and civilians who you are about to slaughter, that made these insults to North Germania. I suggest that Zeeeland pays an indemnity, (NG can name the price) and be done with it. But let us not be bloodthirsty.

2nd thing, your right i dont know what its like to be called a nazi, and your right other nationalities have had similar incidents, however, a majority of them were not directed towards my people directly.

In response to the apology offered by the nation of Zeeeland, Reichskanzler Kahn has ordered an immediate cease-fire, and asks his allies to follow suit.
