Dracun imperium

Chancellor Anthony Tinverian overlooked the massive crowed that had gathered in Imperium Square, the center of Imperial Center, capital of the Dracun Imperium. They had gathered for the first time to actually meet the Chancellor because no one had known who was being elected as their new leader since the former Dread Lord Bane had made it an international vote for the new government of Dracun.
They looked upon the Chancellor with suspicion and at the same time wonder. They have never known this person who was supposed to bring about freedom to a country so comfortable in oppression and Anthony knew first impressions were very important right now, especially after the Six Pillars had been formed (Three pillars for National and another for international policies).
Finally he stepped forward, and the people shuffled in their seats as for the first time the Chancellor would address Dracun,
“Greetings my fellow people, many of you do not know, nor heard of me. But I hope to change that, as you know I was selected by an international poll to lead us to a new era, free from the oppression of old times and I know that because we lived so long in it we have become comfortable in it. The only thing I can say to you is to trust me, trust me to lead you to a place none of you have ever even imagined.
A place where freedom reigns instead of oppression, and where your opinion can be voiced! No longer shall we hide in the shadows of our former oppressors, thanks to the former and last Dread Lord, Lord Bane the XXXV. I hope you can embrace me as I plan to embrace you my fellow people.
I bring to you a future for your children, and their children free from the bloodshed and oppression of the past. We have for too long been a people described by some foreigners as brutal slaughterers I plan on changing that. Turning us from that stereotype into something greater, a nation and culture respected around the world.
We will seek allies, we will seek trade, we will seek growth, but most of all we will seek peace and prosperity for our people. I ask you now to look to the future, a bright one I hope to bring. My people… no, my friends I bring you peace!”
The crowd was silent for several seconds, with whispers turning into talking which soon turned into triumphant screaming and cheering. Indeed Anthony’s word held more truth then he would ever know, the Dracun people now looked to a new future, a bright one indeed.
