Anarchy's War (open)
OOC: One thing, nations that are very large (over 1 billion pop. Militaristic governments) should not go full-blown on this.
Secondly there are 2 nations (my RL friends that will be rping this. But I have decided to start it. But this is my first rp.
Current nations involved
Frooba
Narfnone
Nebarri Prime
Important nation info
The nation of Frooba is full anarchy no rules at all (you can kill anyone and the Government will do nothing in fact the government can have anyone or anything leading it currently it’s a dog. Other than that the nation is lead by Biker Ganges and Corporations. Anyone can skip work. Anyone can do anything (but most act like normal people)
IC:
The Reports cam in. The Free Land of Frooba has been attacked by the Dictatorship of Narfnone. The tow nations had hated each other for as long as they existed they are the two nations that where once the armed republic of friendly addictions (used to exist its not there anymore but is the founder of our region.) one side became an Anarchy the other a full scale Dictatorship. Now Narfnone seemed to be trying to conquer Frooba.
“What do we do?” said the Bob Harris. CEO of Frooba Tech Corp.
“I don’t know ask the Prime Minister?” answered a staff member
“The Prime Minister is a Dog” Bob said
“Then do what the Biker Ganges do I guess”
“We have to launch a counter strike,” said a secretary
“With what Narfnone has the best military we have ever seen? Other than Nebarri and Azkaban.”
“Then get Nebarri to help”
“They sell us weapons, but they can’t send much that nation Crater Lake has there military attention.”
“Ask for more foreign support. To help train our troops better”
“Ok, in the mean time we will do our best to hold them off.”
CEO of Frooba Tech Corp. to the world.
Frooba has come under attack from the Nation of Narfnone we can not fight them off with our poorly trained military please send aid of any kind as soon as possible.
The Unholy Empire of Ftagn will pledge it's support of your fledgling nation, under the terms that you become a trading partner and allow us access to your ports (Presuming you have some).
The Emperor awaits your response.

Your past aggressions towards the Holy Empire of Seangolia have been noted, and with great consideration, it has been decided you are a threat to the well being of our nation and it's people. May the great Sean have mercy on your sole.
Important info:
Seangolia is a medium sized country with extremely loyal citizens. The Private Sector is outlawed, and the Black Market is decreasing as the SIP(Seangolian Imperial Police) continue their strangle hold. However, the Emporer, Sean XIV, is quite benevolent, and has bestowed many civil liberties upon the people. They are allowed to live their private life as they wish. The Empire of Seangolia is deeply rooted in it's religion, and the people feel any aggression made to or by Seangolia is a need to rise to arms.
The aptly named A-13 Zealot is a heavily armored and armed unit tranport vehicle/emergency assault vehicle, used exclusively by the Seangolian Empire, and quite extensively in ground campaigns. It has two 50-calibur fully automatic anti-tank miniguns, each with full swivel, and controlled remotely from inside. It's patent inverted tread allows it to turn swiftly on a dime, with great stability to boot. It can reach up to 35 mph, and runs on a classified fuel source, reported to last far longer than that of primitive oil machinery.
The Seangolian Empire has a fairly small active military, numbering in only at about 400,000. However, the general populace has been given basic military training if the need for conscription arises. The Seangolian Imperial Army is renowned for extremely well disciplined soldiers, fighting to the death, if need be. Never has a Seangolian run from the battle out of fear for personal well-being. Morale is astonishing, with the wounded often times refusing to leave the field of battle, even with seemingly fatal wounds.
The Seangolian Navy is remarkable small, but like the rest of the military, is technologically superior to many. All naval ships are currently classified, as is the same with the Air Force.
The Seangolian Empire has limited use Nuclear Weaponry, although the use of which is not recommended due to increasing availability and destructiveness of conventional weapons. With only a small Nuclear armament, nothing is to be worried from a nuclear assault.
Due to Seangolia being a great deal aways from Frooba, it is unlikely that a major Conscription will occur, or that a large part of the Military shall be used.

This was a propaganda technique used by the Holy Empire of Seangolia to rally forth the people. Truly it does not matter who I am enemy and ally in this conflict, just that war occurs. The people shall follow me either way.

Consul Twer'qui Ty'ran,
The mighty nation of the Dominion of Draconis Federation will crush all aggressors in our wake, we have chosen to support the young nation Frooba in their time of need. But this is not the beginnings of a true alliance, this is the support of a foreign power under a military contract, for the mighty nation of the Dominion of Draconis Federation does not like other foreign nations conquering others without a just reason and cause. We see this attack as an unwarranted aggression against a peaceful nation, and those who have aligned themselves with the dreaded nation of Narfnone, will feel the wrath of the earthly goddess Gaia and her righteous children of the Dominion of Draconis Federation.
THE STRONG SHALL OVER COME, AND THE WEAK SHALL PERISH, BUT THE RIGHTEOUS WILL NEVER BOW TO THE WICKED!

COMPUTER GENERATED FEMALE ANCHOR: Today in the news, Consul Twer'qui Ty'ran and the entire Draconis Federation Council, have decided to act in the defense of a previously unknown nation known as Frooba, from the unwarranted attack of Narfnone. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE?...
In other news enlistment applications have soared to a record high of thirty-four percent, of course such enlistment is not needed as the super power that is the Draconis Federation military is more then capable of eliminating the threat the nation of Narfnone poses with a fraction of our standing forces. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE?...
In other related news, the Mark-XVII Mobile Armor Assault Unit has reached the production phase and is reported to enter field use immediately after the final testing phase has finished. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE?...
Draconis citizenship records show that now more then fifty percent of our nation are now fully qualified citizens, and are expected to increase to seventy-five percent in the next decade. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE?...

((OOC: As promised, a pic of a Dog of War (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y245/Beta_Solution/Monster.jpg). Enjoy! :D))
Location: International Waters, just outside of Frooba Coastal regions.
A large, oil tanker sized ships sits safely in U.N. Protected International Waters. Gnufasurian Terkomai Sea Security Forces patrol the surface of the Oil Tanker, while state-of-the art satalite survaliance equipment constantly keeps track of the situation in Frooba, as well as the surrounding waters. Each Security Guard and even the Tanker itself bears the Terkomai Arms Corporation's insignia.
Deep within the bowls of the Tanker, Professor Gast stands flanked on either side by a pair of Military Advisors from the Gnufasur Navy. "Bnuvaccun, dra Vycd Dnylg Myhtehk Lnyvdc yna nayto vun tabmuosahd. Fa ryja syhykat du cdulg aylr fedr Drendo Tukc uv Fyn." He said.
"Dryd'c jano kuut. Ruf cuuh lyh fa tabmuo dras? Fa SICD kydran dra pyddma tydy vnus dra Tukc uv Fyn cu fa syo luhdehia du esbnuja dras." Professor Gast responds.
The Advisors grimances, "Dfahdo suna sehidac, cen."
Professor Gast sighs, and nods. "Ed lyh'd pa rambat, E kiacc." With a resigned sigh, Professor Gast moves onto to monitor the status of each of the hundred and fifty Dogs of War...
Time Passes... Thirty minutes later!
With all five of the Fast Track Landing Crafts finally prepped for deployment, a side panel of the Tanker begins to rise, revealing a side Docking bay for smaller ships to dock at. Currently each bay was occupied by a Fast Track Landing Craft.
One by one, each Landing Craft (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y245/Beta_Solution/00004.jpg) is launched from it's bay, until all five are away.
The five crafts race across the ocean (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y245/Beta_Solution/00018.jpg), heading for the Frooba Port City.
En route, the crafts pass by the UCT Dirty Bitch, the shiny metallic surfaces of the Landing Crafts a stark contrast to the rusty finish of the UCT ship. The gunner on each of the crafts seem to pay no mind to the foreign ship, concentrating on any possible threat to their crafts, as each makes way to force a landing on whatever piece of land they can find purchase on around the port city...

From the nearest land bases of the Dominion of Draconis Federation the airlift into the nation of Frooba took nearly seven hours but as they entered Frooba airspace they began to land and drop into the subject nation and begin establishing a military presence. The first to land where the Advanced Ranger Battalions, it was there duty as the shock troops of the Federation to secure all borders from enemy invasion, and as they droped successfully at all major borders of Frooba's borders they began to set up temporary defenses and blockades.
One unit in particular, the seventh Battalion, Alpha through Echo companies began setting up within the port city that they dropped into. To their suprise they saw many foreign ships in the Frooba port and took positions along the cliffs and main roads to watch and intercept any military unit from entering the city.
It was Alpha's duty to secure the harbor as best they could until help arrived. They set up many bunkers along the board walk and high rise concrete to cover the beach with machine gun fire should it be required. It was then that the Company Commander, Hui'dra Qwoi'gho saw the approaching craft and had his mortors and bunkers ready to defend the beaches should the soldiers be hostile.

STRAP DOWN YOUR BRATTY KIDS WITH: TODDLER STRAITJACKETS
CARLISLE,Colorado -- Frazzled mothers have discovered a new way to keep their troublesome toddlers from driving them nuts -- by putting them in straitjackets!
Housewife and mother of two Andrea Brown, 27, of Carlisle, invented the miniature restraints, originally to help subdue her rowdy 3-year-old son Liam.
"Liam was into everything and he just wouldn't mind me," Andrea recalls. "One night, after a particularly bad day, I told my husband I'd had it. I said, 'The only way that kid's going to keep his hands to himself is with a straitjacket.' Then I thought, 'Why not?' "
Andrea admits her young son was initially none too pleased to have his arms bound and his movements restricted, but he soon got used to the new garment.
"He cried a lot at first and put up quite a fuss," she says, "but I think now he really enjoys it. He rolls around on the floor, trying to get up without his arms for support. He makes a game out of it."
Andrea also found other people initially skeptical about her unorthodox method of restraining her boy, especially when she took little Liam out in public.
"We got a lot of stares at first when I'd take Liam in his straitjacket to the park," she admits. "But soon mothers who also had problems with their children began to approach me and ask about getting straitjackets for their kids."
Before Andrea knew it, she was in business. She now manufactures and distributes her own line of toddler straitjackets throughout C&T.
The majority of Andrea's customers couldn't be happier with the results of her stylish straitjackets, which come in a variety of eye-catching colors and sizes.
Eleanor Squire, 23, of Arvada, sings the praises of the product. "Now my little Harry doesn't grab everything in sight."
But not everyone approves of putting children in straitjackets. Child psychologist Dr. Herbert Richards, 54, says, "This can't be healthy for any child, being restrained in this manner. It sends a terrible message to kids."
Despite the criticism, Andrea plans to continue selling the jackets. "As long as there are unruly children," says Andrea, "there will be parents like me who will need to this.

Corporal Aled Von Beek stood stiffly at attention. The newly-trained soldier was a member of the PathFinders, the People's Republic of Karullia's finest insertion and special forces team. Around him stood 499 other members of the regiment, all equally well trained and armed. In front of him, on a podium flanked by the Badger Ensign, stood four men, all instantly recognisable by the insignia on their uniforms, and because of who they were.
One was First Councillor Scott Lewis, the elected leader of the country. The other three were High Marshal Rimm Swiftblade, the commander of the nation's military, Defence Minister and Militia Major Sokai Otetsu, and finally, General Rotian Daleburn. The spright, lithe 34-year-old Daleburn looked ill at ease in his dress uniform, and anyone who knew the man knew he was never happier than when he was in full combat dress, in a major theatre of operations.
"Ladies and gentlemen of the Third Karullian Special Forces And Insertion Brigade" began the First Councillor. "As several of you may be aware, the tiny nation of Frooba has been invaded by their neighbours, Narfnone. Now, you men have been selected to be the first to engage in an operational theatre. Occupation such as this is bad all round, and we must do what we can to prevent it. Therefore, the Karullian Destroyers Mirielle and Nuriko will be taking you into the hot zone, as it were. The lead Landing Craft was first to beach itself, the fore end slamming into a section of beach turf, the end opening up to reveal a series of dog-kennel like containers, all lined up in neat rows. The pace at which the containers were unloaded did not suggest of an enemy incursiors, but rather of an allied effort. They were supposed to be there, they had every right to be here on this beach. Still, the bunkers and machine gun nests being set up along the ridge and boardwalk did cause the gunners on the landing craft to be a mite bit twitchy...
Along side this one, two more Landing crafts 'parked,' with the final two beaching themselves further up the coast line, quickly disembarking their cargo.
While Neko workers hurried to offload each of the hundred and fifty Dogs of War, only a scant twenty or so soldiers were visible on the beach. All bore the insignia of the Terkomai Arms Corporation Security Force, with the exception of one...
Rei Linsay streched her arms as she stepped off the landing craft she had hitched a ride to Frooba on. A Neko worker mumbled a very brief greeting as he passed her, hurrying to help offload yet another kennel. There were a total of kennels in each landing craft, each kennel holding one Dog of War.
Rei was an EHAV Mercenary, hired by the Terkomai Arms Corporation to act as a Liason between their interests and whatever forigen support they happened to encountered.
A Terkomai Security Guard, a Military Grade SMG hangng from one shoulder, approached her, handing her a set of binoculars, and pointing up to the ridge.
Peering through the Binoculars, Rei smirked. "E caa dras... Famm, kiacc ed caasc fa ryja ymmeac. E'mm ryja y funt fedr dras."
The guard nodded, removing his walkie-talkie and handing it to her. Accepting, she rose the walkie-talkie to her lips, pressing the 'talk' button. The walkie-talkie was a very limited-range one, used to broadcast on as many com frequencies as possible. Rei found that it worked wonders for strting allied relations with a group whose frequencies you didn't know. Since it had a limited range, it wouldn't broadcast outside of the city.
"This is Rei Linsay, with the Terkomai Arms Corporation, to the soldiers setting up shop just above us on the beach ridgeline. I would like to speak with your Operation Leader, in regards to working together against the soldiers invading Frooba. Over."
Behind her, her trusty, and highly customized, Motorcycle was being offloaded from one of the Landing Crafts. She'd use it to get from hot-spot to hot-spot. As soon as she got a reply, she planned on riding it straight up to the soldiers to speak with their leader in person.

“Frooba has gained major international support”
“Crush them, Crush them all! Anything that stands in our way of taking control of Frooba shall be crushed!”

“Send the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Artillery divisions with the 1st helicopter strike force and the 7th army. We will force them out of the conve plains.”
“As you wish, I shall inform the Generals at once”
“One more thing, send the fleet in all ships are to be on their own. They will attack the frooban fleet of corvettes and then the subs will take care of the rest”
“Yes master”
3 hours later
The alarm suddenly sounded, a large Narfnone force was attacking frooba’s army in the conve plains. The better equipped and better-trained Narfnonian solders where making short work of the froobans. MI-24 helicopters attacked frooban tanks and artillery was falling all over the battlefield the sound of AK-47s rang out as Narfnonian troops advanced. The frooban army needed help and fast.

Brigade Colonel Vincent Enok was feeling good. His exellently trained (if untried) men were moving into their positions well ahead of schedule, and had been turning the roads into an army's hell on the way.
He had also gotten word that the 1st corp. had been deployed, and was confident that anyone who attempted an invasion of Frooba would be well bloodied.

***********At the front, pushing into the Jungles***************
"Mininima losses with little resistance. So far no sign of Enemy Allies."-Field Captain
"Good... Redeem...who have error...their ways. Man...woman, child...adult, they...the enemy. Leave none stand...leave none living."
"Yes, sir. FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE!"-Field Captain
"For...Glory...the Empire."
"ALL UNITS! PUSH FORTH! REDEEM ALL WHO OPPOSE US, AND BRING FOR THE TRUTH!"-Field Captain
With that, the Zealots roll into the Jungles, having some difficulty traversing the difficult terrain. However, due to ingenious tread design, they are still fairly mobile in the jungle.
RATATATATATA!
Suddenly, an enemy forces attacks from within the jungle. Within seconds, a swarm of enemies enclose upon the Seangolian Forces. Zealot armor, though, is strong enough to withstand massive amounts of punishment, and the bullets only make scratches. The full body armor of the Infantry absorbs most blows, and those which penetrate cause no immediate or vital harm.
"ENGAGE! ENGAGE!"
RATATATATATA!
RATATATATATA!
RATATATATATA!
Suddenely, the forest is alit with fire from the Zealot 50-calibur miniguns. The Infantry hits the ground and takes cover as the Zealots tear apart enemy and forest alike. Within minutes, the forest is still again, and a deep swath has been cut into the forest.
"How many were there?"-Field Captain
"Only about 200, sir. We made quick work of them. Lightly armed, barely even an organized forced. Their weaponry is almost obsolete in terms of usefulness."
"How many casualities have we been inflicted?"-Field Captain
"Four. Three killed by crossfire from the Zealot, and one, unfortunately, by the Heathens. Seventy-nine wounded. None more than a scratch."
"If this is all these heathens can do, then this war shall be over within the week. Good day, Brother."
"ONWARD!"
And so, the First and Second Division push deeper into Frooba.

The Third Division pulls into the field, just after the primary attack by Narfnone.
"Sir, we have come to bring aid and support you on your front. The Greatest, in all his wisdom, has seen fit to bring forth 3000 Zealots and 50,000 Infantry to support you on this front. Our tactics are brutal and straight forth. Do not get in our way, and we will not get in yours. And most importantly, stay out of Zealot fire. We care not for those who get caught within the fire. That is all."-Commander to teh captain of the Narnone Forces

Corp. Commander Gunnar had been reciving reports of Frooban militia being massacred on the Western fronts, and wasn't horribly surprised. His men had done their best training them, but they still weren't a well disiplined, professional army.

Special weapons refers to the automatic grenade launchers, RPGs, auto-cannons, and incidiary weapons which personnel in these units use in a primaraly defensive & anti-vehicle role.
Also, a 'Troop' is a unit of special forces, consisting of 48 personnel, and does not in this case refer to an individual.

Ftagn has dispatched the 3rd Legion (20,000 Legionnaires) and the 1st Armored Legion (150 Imperator MBTs 400 Scorpius LAVs). They will arrive by ship and defer to Frooban leadership.
The Ftagn landing boats were large, matte black, floating rectangles, that floated low in the water due to the immense weight of their load. The emblem of the 1st Armored Legion, the iron skull inside a stylized cog, shone on both of the 2 transports present, with the 3rd Legion designation beside it. The helmsman of the first ship was not too suprised to see the other nations' ships already docked. "Looks like everyone's already here...", He mumbled to himself. He then radioed Frooban dock authorities. "This is the Ftagn Ship, the Corruption. We are requesting permission to dock and unload. Over."

Oh, and the breakdown of the First, Second, and Third Division(Fourth Division is back at home in Seangolia, of course):
First:
150,000 ground troops, strong full body armor, most equipped with standard issue high-power how velocity Seangolian fully automatic rifles.
2000 A-13 Zealots(A heavily armed and armored transport vehicle, runs on treads, can survive small nuclear blasts, but unlikely it will work at all afterwards, basically you'll live if your inside).
Second: 100,000 Ground Troops, see before
3000 A-13 Zealots
Third Division:
50,000 Troop
3,000 Zealots
Note, however, that not all units in each division are deployed on the front, and those that are are obviously spread out a bit into different sectors.

**********1st Division, A town in Mid-Frooba, about 200 km from the coast*************
"Are we done here yet?"-Field Captain
"Sir, the resistance here was meak and futile. Most of our men didn't even need to shoot their weapons. We have redeemed many."
"Good. Any of the Heathens survive?"-Field Captain
"No, sir. All Heathens were killed. Men, women, children. The only resistance was a small group of Frooban Nationals, hardly a match. We suffered no casualities, and only minor wounds. Also, the enemy has layed the forests deep with traps. Most of which are mere holes with sharpened bamboo. Casualities so far have reached 198."
"Damn Heathens. Cannot face us in open battle, and be redeemed with glory, so they go to such cowardly levels of deception. Tell the men that this town shall be our forward base for now. Place explosives. When we live, we shall destroy this unholy place."-Field Captain
"And sir..."
"What?"-Field Captain
"The troops have been reporting movement in the forests. However, when we search the area, we find nothing. Not a print, not broken branch. We are being watched. That I am sure of. But who or what, we have yet to figure out."
"Have 24-hour patrols put out along the perimeter of the inner city. Rotate every 8 hours. Keep all Zealots active. Shoot anything that moves outside of the perimeter."-Field Captain
**********2nd Division, somewhat north of Division 1, in the Jungle pushing East*************
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
RATATATATATATA!
"ALL UNITS! PUSH ON! FIGHT THE HEATHENS!"-Field Captain
Smoke covers the forest in a thick haze. Flashes of light come from everywhere, who have ambushed the very small 2nd division preemptive force(200 troops, 5 zealots).
"Damn them! First the fiasco in with those damn traps, and now this! They're putting up more of a fight this time than before! PUSH HARDER!"-Field Captain
The Infantry have taken a heavy hit from the Frooban Nationals, who have hit them with a great deal of strength and prowress. The Zealots fire in all directions, cutting down trees, Nationals, and Infantry alike.
"Dammit, there's more than we thought! They're everywhere!"-Field Captain
One of the Zealots gets caught in crossfire, tearing apart the armored plating. THough not penetrating the inner plating, it does lower the structural integrity of the Zealot. Suddenly, a light blue liquid starts to leak from the bottom of the Zealot, pouring out gallons of this liquid. This liquid, which is the fuel source of the Zealot, is highly classified.
"Oh...Dear...Sean..."-Field Captain
A hot bullet hits the leaking fuel, igniting it. All remaining Seangolian Troops start an immediate retreat, bringing cheers to the Frooban Nationals. Suddenly, the fuel tank ignites, and with a deafening blast, a firecloud erupts into the air. Within seconds, the forest is aflame, and a hole in where the initial blast was is easily visible from the sky. The forest grows quite quickly. Both Infantry and Nationals are decimated, and all Zealots are wrecked beyond repair. Slowly, the drivers and gunmen from the Zealots climb out, and after recollecting themselves, and making a quick note of the dead, they as swiftly as possible make their way back to camp.
**********Narfnone Capital, Seangolian HQ**************
"DAMN! We have already lost nearly 600 men trying to gain a steady hold into Frooba. Not to mention the disaster which destroyed 10 of our Zealots. Seangolian Fuel Dump, rear line, near the former Frooban border-
The last of the Carthaginian Werewolves had exfiltrated the fuel dump when one of their devices detonates prematurely. All along the line the special weapons teams checked and re-checked their 37mm and 57mm auto-cannons, and inspected the ammuntion chains that they would o-so-rapidly deplete, making sure that there weren't any broken links or any other malfunctions.
They were glad that the attacking infantry would be held at bay by the withering rain of High-Explosive and white phosphorus that would issue forth from the automatic grenade launchers; otherwise they'd be cut to pieces in close quarters combat.

IC:The First Frooban Air strike was underway 24 F-5s escorted 12 A-10s and 12 Tornado IDS bombers to their targets. The tornadoes moved quickly to destroy Narfnonian runways but 1 in 3 where shot down do to the low level flying. The A-10s where looking for the Narfnonian T-90 Tank force. But never found it as they ran low on fuel. But the F-5s had a Battle of their own. Narfnone had sent up 12 Mig-21s to attack the 24 F-5s. After several kills where scored on both sides the F-5s polled out. but the Migs when after them. When they crossed the safe line several SAMs fired. Only 2 Migs made it back to base.

Night becomes Day as the fireball created by the Fuel Dump explosion is easily seen from the Capital. The ground shakes slightly, and shelves are rattled.
"Sir... we... lost Fuel Dump One."
"Damn... what the hell happened?!"-General Gordon
"We presume the enemy detonated it, sir. Reports just before the blast said that a group Heathens were seen making hasty retreat. We can only assume that everything within the viscinity was destroyed. Fortunately, our main forces have reported that although hit by the shockwave, losses are minimal. The fires, though, are ravaging the country side, and are spreading deep into Frooba, but thankfully the Narfnone countryside is not quite as bad."
"Good. Let them burn. The more Heathens redeemed the better. Thankfully, we hadn't sent the entire supply headed to Dump One yet... I almost fear to think what would have happened..."
******1st Division, at the Town Perimeter***********
The town shook with roaring thunder. Some of the weaker and smaller building fell and crumbled. A massive fireball filled the sky.
"Dear Sean... is that what I think it is?"-Field Captain
"It appears that Fuel Dump One has ignited, sir, and presumably by the enemy."
"THE FOOLS! Put all patrols on high alert. Send out patrols, use Zealots. Shoot anything that moves. Tear them to pieces. Do not allow any of these damned Heathens retreat deeper in to Frooba!"-Field Captain
With this, the units scramble. Hundreds of Zealots pull out into the City, and surrounding area, searching for anything that even remotely resembles an enemy. Shots are heard every few minutes, but no actually fighting seems to occur.
***********2nd Division, Camp****************
"We have received a report that the ball of Fire a few short hours ago was due to Fuel Dump One being destroyed. We are to make a hasty retreat to the border. We cannot push further until our supplies are reinstalled. Engage all enemies you see. That is all."-Field Captain

Jan and the other members of the Pathfinders lounged on the decks of the KND Mireille and the KND Nuriko. The two destroyers would act as the ferrying point, dropping off each seperate 16-man team via helicopter insertion, where they would fight a guerrilla war against the Narfnonians. They would be the first Karullian soldiers ever to take part in a military action outside of their own home nation- A dubios honour, thought Van Beek.

((OOC: Guess I'll give a breakdown too...
Fifteen Packs.
Alpha Packs 01 through 05,
Beta Packs 01 through 05,
and Delta Packs 01 through 05.
Each Pack consists of ten Dogs of War (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y245/Beta_Solution/Monster.jpg), for a total of 150. Each Dog of War is equipped with the spinal and head armor shown, (Grants protection from most small arms fire) and ultilizes their teeth for unarmored targets, hands for neck snapping, and the knife holstered on the rear thigh for armored targets. The knife is designed for piercing body armor.
Also, please note. They DO have opposable thumbs. :P They aren't dogs, they are humans turned into dogs. Kinda like Jet Li's new movie, 'Unleashed,' but better. :D
Besides the Dogs of War, Terkomai Arms has also devoted about thirty Terkomai Arms Corporation Security Force members for defense of the Landing Crafts, as well as the Mercenary Rei Linsay of EHAV International.
Eh. So I'm not devoting 10000+ soldiers. Used correctly, these covert and cunning Dogs of War can ravage morale and surplant uncertainity. But, I doubt I'll be bringing 90% of them back home anyways. :P))
Dogs of War Alpha Packs 01 and 02. Near Seangolia 1st Division's location.
Having recieved various satallite images of the terrain, and the latest enemy troop placement, the Dogs of War had made quick progress from the beach where their landing crafts where currently parked, all the way up to the latest Seangolia activity.
The burning wreckage of the Fuel Depot was like a solar flare in a pitch black room, and gave the twenty Dogs of War a steady guidance to where they needed to be.
Carefully, five of the Dogs slink past the burning wreckage, whilst the other fifteen remained in hiding.
Their mission was vastly simply. Ascertain enemy strength and capability, and return with the revelant data. Once they knew what the enemy soldiers were capable of, Professor Gast could formulate a plan for exploiting any weakness.
Genetic manipulation has turned the once human ears into highly sensative sound recievers. The five Dogs heard the Zealot before they saw it, or it saw them. Quickly, the five dash into a building, treading several rooms deep within it. A very rudamentary trap is then set.
One of the Dogs of War starts baying, a low, howling sound. It sounded eeirely like a real dog. Whilst this one continued to bay, in an effort to perhaps draw in some curious soldeirs, the other four take up positons in the corner of the room, hugging the wall sharing the door into the room they were currently hidden in...

Reports have been indicating that the Northern most Seangolian forces have been retreating. As such Corp. Commander Gunnar has ordered the offensive elements of the Fourth, Fifth, and the Sixth division to swing South and engage the Seangolian's freshly exposed flank." General Enok (with particular emphasis on 'Sixth') called over the radio, "That means us. We will be holding the flank position of our own line in this offensive, and as such I belive we will be reciving the worst of whatever those bastards can throw at us. This in mind, and that small arms fire doesn't seem to be particularly effective against Seangolian personal armor, all who presently have rifles are to be reissued 'Thumper-twos' and suitable ammunition. Hopefully our High-Explosive and Sabot rounds will be more effective. Division Command, Out!"
General Enok was apprehensive about the coming flanking movement. It wasn't that he lacked confidence in his men, but more that he doubted that Third division would be able to move forward and consolidate their new holdings fast enough to prevent his Division from being decimated.
(OOC- General Enok is Brigade Commander Enok's Uncle, and the 'Thumper-two' is a recoil opperated, semi-automatic version of the M79. Took about 24 of their guys, got one alive even. Well. . . mostly alive. He's missing his legs and a hand, but we've stabalized him. We are sending him to the nearest M.A.S.H for treatment.
I would also like to report that though our sabot round is able to penetrate the infantry's armor, it is very ineffective. Low volume of fire, coupled with great inaccuracy at any range greater than ten feet has rendered it fundamentaly useless. HE rounds, RPGs, and flamethrowers used to greater effect.
Will begin next movement at H-Hour. General Enok Out."

The defenses had been ordered by their Company Commander Hui'dra Qwoi'gho, and it was Hui'dra Qwoi'gho who answered the comm. Raising his hand to the side of his helmet he activated the built in communications array, and instantly broadcasted his reply on a more secure frequency. "This is Alpha Company Commander, Lt Colonel Hui'dra Qwoi'gho, Miss Linsay, we know nothing of allied forces in you are indeed an allied power or the representative of an allied power, I would be willing to meet with you at the blockade only yards away from your present coordinates. But if this is a trap my men have orders to fire at will, do we have an understanding?" Hui'dra was a cautious man, he might have been young for someone of he rank and position, but he was not the type to take unnecessary risks. It was because of that trait he rose through the ranks so quickly.

Admiral Thrawn to General Vortigern of the Imperial 3rd Legion. Encrypted in this message is information taken from our Anarchy class Spaceship prototype (not listed on storefront) the Anarchy has been spying on the war since its start.
OOC: if you want more just say so but I mite be too lazy to make more right now. Also the Anarchy was the first weapon made only by Nebarri for Frooba (all the weapons they have are from Nebarri but none are from my storefront but are real weapons)
oh, and the Ghost class is the frigate not the destroyer
OOC: Whoops, frigates not destroyers... Whatever, they still have the ASW systems. I'll post IC tomorrow probably, I'm too tired now.

"General Enok! The Fourth and Fifth Divisions are reporting overwhelming contact, sir! The Fifth is presently holding, but is in serious need of support. The Fourth has been repulsed and is trying to regroup, reporting two whole Regiments unaccounted for!" called the lanky comms officer who was quickly becoming pale.
"Tell Regiment Echo to fix bayonets, their going to support the Fifth; we are not going to be cut off. What are the forward scouts saying?" asked a very serious Gen. Enok.
"The Werewolves are saying some contact, about five miles south. Very little though. I guess they didn't expect anyone this far west. . . 50 Zealots, and maybe 500 infantry. They are holding position, sir."
"Good. Tell the men to prepare for Anti-armor warfare. Tracks, then guns."
"Aye, sir. . ." the comm. officer's demeanor quickly became much more concerned, "Sir! The forward most Werewolf section reports that they have been forced to engage the enemy, taking heavy casualties. . . the enemy is coming our way, sir."
"Nuts."
~~~
Off the Southern Frooban coast, just over the horizon:
"To all ships: Because of the recent success of the Seangolian counter-attack, Fleet Admiral Brennus has just given us the go-ahead for a landing. To all infantry, prepare for imediate Phibops!" Corp. Commander Johaness called to his subordinates over the comms system.
You will be landing on a passive beach, about seven miles West of the Narfnonian/Seangolian battlelines. You will be marching Northwest, in an attempt to sever enemy supply routes. When this is done you will head East to engage the Seangolian Second Division, and neutralize them. Corp Command, out!"[I]
The twenty tri-hulled Warmare class landingcraft, each of which carried an entire Carthaginian Regiment hurled themselves up onto the beachead unopposed (though not unseen) and began unloading in a hasty fashion, as they had another four runs to make within the next five hours.
~~~
The sound of the Zealot's guns reverberated through the jungle, overpowering that of the small-arms of both sides. Though out numbered the Seangolian forces had the advantages of surprize and overwhelming firepower; using both to cut through the Carthaginian forces like a hot slug through butter. Though the defending infanry were able to disable some of the charging vehicles, they were the obvious kings of this battlefield.
[I]"Being overwhelmed. . . Regiments Alfa, Bravo, Delta, and Echo are no longer responding! Calling for a rolling barage from their last reported position, moving North! I say again, rolling barage from their last reported position, moving North! The remainder of Charlie Regiment is pulling back!"
The Lieutenant who made that call was unable to do this however, for he momentarily found himself to be temporarily supporting the weight of the starboard side of an oncoming Zealot.
It was into this fray that Echo Regiment of the Sixth Division charged. They were, fortunatly for them, too late to engage the two waves of Zealots that had destroyed the Fifth Division, however they were just in time to meet the 2500 Seangolian infantry following them. The vanguard of said infantry were quite surprised to be meeting a wave of 40mm HE grenades, though they weren't surpised for very long.
Having attracted the attention of the enemy, the First and Second Companies of Echo Regiment decided to dig-in while the rest of the Regiment continued the attack.

-Days Earlier-
"Dammit, go find those mutts and shut them up. Send in a couple of men. Damn strays."
Quickly, a group of 5 men start to look for the dogs that they hear. THey come to the building that the howls are coming from, and enter. it's small house, only about 4 rooms. They come to a back room, and see the silouette of a large dog in the shadows.
"Damn, that's a big one. Let's make it quick."
"Hey, wait. I heard at least three or four of em..."
Slowly the dog comes out of the shadow, and to some suprise, the Seangolians find that it is not a dog, but some sort of man.
"ABOMINATION! What have these Heathens done!? KILL IT!"
Suddenly, from all sides the men are attacked by these beasts. Two Seangolians are killed instantly by snapped necks.
BLAM! BLAM! BLAM!
The rooms fill with fire and hot steel as rounds are fired.
"AHH!"
A seangolian is stabbed in the chest. Suddenly, the room goes quiet. On the ground, there are four of these Abominations, and four Seangolians. The last Seangolian, although badly wounded, makes his way back to Field HQ to report.
Five Dogs of War litter the small room, next to the four bodies of the Seangolians. Slowly, one of the Dogs of War rises, panting. One of its arms is bloodied. Grunting, it snifgfs out the other members of its pack... Dead. Huffing, it spies the bodies of the other four dead soldiers.
Its head twitches to one side, and briefly, it falls onto its side...
Remote Manual Control Established... Uploading New orders... Retrieve an Enemy Corpse for study. Remote Manual Control Disconntected.
Grunting with effort, the Dog of War pushes itself back to its feet, then grabs hold of one of the arms of the dead soldiers with its uninjuried hand, and begins to drag it from the room.
With assistance from a few more members of Alpha Pack 01, the Dogs manage to drag the body to the shell of the destroyed Fuel Dump. ((OOC: Seangolia, the other four dead Dogs of War are still there. Feel free to snag 'em, for study. :D))
-Present Hour-
"Sir, our men have reported something out of the ordinary."
"What?"-Field Captain
"The enemy... they seem to be using Abominations... we aren't sure what they are, but five of our men were ambushed by them . One survived, said that they thought they were dogs until they were close. This is the first and only report we have received of this kind."
"Damn those Heathens, and their unholy work. Tell the men to kill them on sight. We must free these abominations from their unholy torment."-Field Captain
"SIR! We have received a message from General Gordon! Enemy forces are reported to be moving south. We have been ordered to push north, and meet the enemy before they catch our flank."
"Let's move out. Once we are gone, destroy this unholy place."
Quickly, First Division pulls out, moving north to meet the oncoming enemy. After the last have left, the town is ripped apart by explosions. Building crumble into flaming ruins, and the earth shakes. Within minutes, all is still again, and the town is nothing but rubble.
From the safety of a nearby trench dugged by Frooba soldiers before the fall of this particular town, the remaining Dogs of War of Alpha Packs 01 and 02 view the town as planted explosives reduced the town to smoldering rubbish.
Quietly, the Dogs nurse their prize, a dead Seangolian. Scouts are sent out in the direction of 'home base,' to ensure the way is clear...
The veteran Draconis rangers didn't know what to do, they hadn't expected anyone to speak so openly, and they weren't briefed on ally forces, matter in fact they had barely been briefed on their assignments once they entered Frooba territory.
Rei smirked, returning the walkie-talkie to her mouth, pressing the talk button. "Lt. Colonel, if we were here to kill you and your men, we would have shelled the beach from the ocean. But, that's neither here nor there, eh? Anyways... Terkomai Arms Corporation has agreed to lend assistance to the Frooba government. Which, I'm assuming is why your forces are here too. So, logic would dictate that the friend of my friend is another friend of mine, eh? I'll be glad to meet you at the blockcade. See ya there, sug-ah."
Deciding that riding her motorcycle there would be a waste, Rei settles for walking to the meeting point.
Mid-way there, a pair of Dogs of War catch up to her, and accompany her to the meeting point.
Moving swiftly yet calmly to the blockcade, flanked on both sides by a pair of blue and gold armored Dogs of War, Rei arrives in a timely fashion, nodding to the soldeirs she sees. "Yo, I'm Rei Linsay. I'm supposed to meet a Lt. Colonel Qwoi'gho here." Switching her weight to one leg, she absent-mindedly pets the head of a Dog of War, sitting on its haunches next to her.

Fight only the Narfnonian troops. The others are either allies or more powerful then us.
Frooban troops massed in the south. With them were 200 tanks, 200 SAMs, 200 Hummves, 200 5 ton trucks, and 50 AH-1 Cobras. This was the first strike force and the best trained, experienced, and willing group in the frooban army. Soon they would move west and attack narfnone’s own territory

OOC: No problem. Should be fun. Also, i'll right the next battles later. Not enough time right now.
The Ftagn commanders sat around the display screen in their newly set up command tent, reviewing footage taken from the Nebarri Anarchy class spaceship.
"Pause it," Vortigern commanded, "This doesn't look good... our allied forces are under heavy attack by these forces here." He indicates the Seangolian offensive. "The source of these forces apparently overwhelming military power are these vehicles here." He points to some Zealots, they are visible due the large swathes of jungle they are demolishing with ease.
"Nothing our allies have seem to be effective in stopping them." The 1st Legion commander cut in then, "I think that's where my tanks come in. Lets see if the infidel's can stand up to the true power of the Emperor's army. The rail-guns should be sufficiant in blunting their attack."
"There is the small problem of the jungle... Those tanks aren't the most maneuverable of things. They will be at reduced effectiveness-"
"Who says we can't blow away the stinking jungle like the infidel's are doing? I'll need your infantry to fight off infidel foot soldiers, though. I think we better depart now, before our allies are overwhelmed."
"Agreed." General Vortigern switched off the display screen then went over to the commlink to make the order.

The air was soon filled with the sound of hundred of tanks and transports. The Imperial army was on the move west to meet the Seangolian offensive.

Lt Colonel Hui'dra Qwoi'gho returned listened and replied returning his hand to the side of his helmet, "With what, the only ship that seems attatached to your company is a modified oil tanker rebuilt to act as a transport and science vessel. But you are correct one must not duel on the past, less one be caught by it's pull. Logic would dictate that, though one should allways be wary even in the presense of freinds. I will have my men direct you to my command bunker." Lt Colonel Hui'dra Qwoi'gho signed off and turned to his Liutenant, Lt Das'ui Jak'xei.
"Liutenant, meet Miss Linsay at the blockade and lead her back here, you have you orders, dissmissed."
"Yes sir." Lt Das'ui Jak'xei responded to his orders before saluting and exiting the bunker.
Moving swiftly yet calmly to the blockcade, flanked on both sides by a pair of blue and gold armored Dogs of War, Rei arrives in a timely fashion, nodding to the soldeirs she sees. The soldiers of the blockade watched her approach, one from the bunker next to the blockade with a M-A10 Sniper Rifle/Rail Gun and two at the blockade itself armed with M-1 Pulse Rifle. When a group of canine like animals accompanied her, they took their pulse rifles of their shoulders and took them in hand, as a saftey precaution.
The ranking soldier answered, "Miss Linsay, I'm Lt Das'ui Jak'xei, if you will follow me... alone." a feminine voice answered her and waved her through. Lt Das'ui Jak'xei then lead Miss Linsay back to a small building, yards away from the blockade and lead her to the back room, "Miss Linsay, as you ordered sir." Lt Das'ui Jak'xei held the door for Miss Linsay and closed it after her, taking up a gaurd position outside the room. To make sure that no curious soldier eaves dropped on their conversation.

Narfnone’s forces had advanced well into Frooban territory after the battle of the conve plain and now they had come up on a frooban city and surrounded it. The siege was expected to last less than 24 hours.
“Report” yelled General Fasco
“Sir we have them surrounded but they are well equipped in this city, at least compared to the attacking forces we have fought”
Ok I want this place taken out. Increase artillery fire attack them with tanks, LAVs, and infantry I also want bombing runs coming in hourly”

"Could you describe them any better?" the Commander asked,
"All I can tell you now is that they aren't wearing the uniform of either Narfnonian forces, or Seangolian. Tactical vests, M4A2s, Kevlar Helmets. . . that's all I can remember."
"Before deployment I was told about an elite Karullian force being sent to aid Frooba, and that their deployment might potentialy overlap ours. Your report matches their equipment, I think this might be them."
"Should we make contact, sir?"
"Yes, but do it gently. I don't want any friendly fire."

"You would be correct Miss Linsay, please be seated." Lt Colonel Hui'dra Qwoi'gho said sitting in an uncomfortable armchair. He wore Draconis ranger armor, except for a helmet that he had sitting on a table nearby. Without his helmet one could see his scaled face and feathered mane. The features of his face were very human, but with the small shiny scales that followed the edge of his mane down his neck gave him a distinct reptilian look, common among his kind.

"We have reestablished contact with Third Division. It appears the enemies have cut off their supply routes, and they are being engaged by Frooban Nationals and Allies alike. First Division is been effective at pushing north, but has been met with heavy casualities. Also, it appears that the enemy is using high-penetration weaponry. We believe rail-guns, but whatever they may be, they are ripping through the zealots like hot butter. First Division requests reinforcements to continue this campaign. Also, Fuel Dump Four is completed, and Second Divsion is ready to roll out."
"Good, good. I want Third to push push west. Let the Narfnonians devastate the Frooban Nationals. We need to reestablish supply lines. Tell them to engage all enemies, and drive them from the field. Once they have regained the supply lines, they are to advance east, and catch up with Narnonian forces. Have First Division hold their ground for now. I have plans for the enemy. Now that Fuel Dump Four is complete, have Second Division move East, into Frooba, and then head south. We will surround the Enemy with First and Second Division."

-Hours Earlier-
The push North yielded only a few dozen miles, and many casualities on all sides. The forest was in shreds, and bodies littered the ground. The Zealot guns rip apart everything in their path.
THWAP!
A silent projectile hits a zealot, penetrating easily through the armor, and it comes to a halt.
THWAP! THWAP! THWAP!
Three more Zealots cease up.
"DAMMIT! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
As the push goes further, Zealots are now dropping back, letting the infantry do the close fighting for now.
*********Second Division, Fuel Dump Four************

The Third Division (reenforced by the remenants of the shattered Fourth and Fifth Div.) had been ordered to push forward, under the cover of the Ftagn tanks in an attempt to force back the Seangolian line and rescue the now cut off Sixth Division. Echo Regiment, Sixth Division, was able to devestate the 2500 Seangolian infantry they met with, but was forced to return to the Division's position after the Seangolians began to redeploy to their area.

After the reports of purposeful destruction of miles of Forrest area came into the Consul's headquarters in Draco. Consul Dala Vedra and the entire senate as well as the masses were infuriated.
Senate Meeting
"Consul the filth of our enemies dare to destroy that which we hold sacred, they dare to enrage us by destroying those forests before them."
"Senate member Tur'ik, I know this already, I have heard it from the millions reports that enter my command center. I know this because my citizens tell me so, they cry out for the blood of our enemies as to the sacrilege they have performed before us. As of right now I am reinforcing our advanced troops by sending the first through third Mobile Infantry divisions, as well as the second through fourth Mobile Armor divisions."
"Consul, do you believe that these troops are sufficient, for I do not, we should send at least an attachment of Black ops soldiers. It is the only way to teach the filth to respect our goddess."
An uproar agreeing with the senate member began and was quickly silenced when Consul Dala Vedra raised his hand for silence.
"Very well Tur'ik I will send an attachment of Black ops with each division, I suggested to the Generals that we drop our Mobile Armor divisions right on the enemies position while maintaining heavy air support. Are their any other suggestions?"
Their were none, the senators were pleased with the Consul's war plans and allowed him to leave and return to his command center.
___
Moments after speaking with the Senate, Consul Dala Vedra ordered the first through third Mobile Infantry divisions into action as well as the second through fourth Mobile Armor divisions. At military bases within the Draconis Federation T1-30 Super Titan transports began taking off carrying the first through third Mobile Infantry divisions, second through fourth Mobile Armor divisions to the combat zone in Frooba, accompanied by several detachments of Black ops soldiers.

To: First Division, HQ detachment, General Rava
From: Corp. Commander Gunnar
General Rava, you are to take the First Division and move Southeast to relive the Frooban nationals presently under siege in the city of Galp. They are under nearly constant bombardment by artillery, and I doubt they will be able to hold for much longer.
You are to be there no later than three days from now. Coming from the Southwest will be Seventh Division, Second Corp. They will attempt to prevent the Narfnonian forces from being reenforced.
Good luck, hun.
General Guage Rava sighed as she read the last line of her orders. Even as she briefed her Regimental Commanders she couldn't help but be slightly distracted. . .
~~~
"Okay men," General Karl said calmly to his seven Reginmental commanders, "Corp. Commander Johaness has ordered us to move Northwest, to prevent the reenforcement of the Narfnonians presently around the city of Galp. As the Seangolians are pressing our right flank at the moment we will be unable to deploy the whole of the Division directly in support of the city. Foxtrot and Delta Regiments will be guarding our rear, and our supply lines. For this reason I am placing all Special Weapons units, exept for incindiaries, under their commands.
Alfa, Bravo, Charlie, and Echo Regiments will be moving to support the city in two columns. When we get to the city we will exercise a plan with branches, and act as the anvil for First Division, First Corp. to strike against." he said with a confident light in his eye,
"That will be all."
The designated drop zone for the Draconis troops would be the Frooban City of Galp. There had been reports it was under siege and that the Frooban troops inside the city were desperately in need of relief. Just their luck they would get that relief just when they needed it the most.
About two hours after the T1-30's took off at Draconis military bases they arrived over the city Galp and their drop zones, they could see the enemy advance below, and they could see that the Frooban troops were fighting a desperate battle. One where their was no chance for them to retreat, and one where they need support. The commander saw that it was turning into a melee for the Froobans on the ground, and followed his orders to drop right on top of the enemies positions. While the Mobile Armor divisions would drop directly on top of the enemy the Mobile Infantry divisions would drop right behind the Frooban troops, it would be a great moral boost for their ally, and would be demoralizing to the enemy to see fresh troops charging them while they struggle to fend of the Mobile Armor assault.
__
The plan was set, and the Commander gave the signal they began dropping on the enemy and began engaging them long before they hit the ground, for the Mobile Armor it was a turkey shoot, the enemy weren't equipped to deal with the Mobile Armors, as for the enemy it was a slaughter. They were crushed under the Mobile Armors feet or were ripped apart by their overwhelming fire. It was a horrific sight, the amount of blood was immense and throughout the entire town that very sight was repeated over and over again, until there were no enemy soldiers to kill. The causality rating was 100% for the enemy and only .001% for Draconis Federation, the Federation troops had orders to give no quarter, they would not take any prisoners, and wouldn't let any enemy survive their onslaught.
As the Draconis Commander advanced with his Infantry he looked around the Frooban troops and his eye caught the rank of Lt Colonel. He pass command down to his lieutenant then moved over to the Lt Colonel, "Lt Colonel I see, do you and your men have the strength to continue or do you need to hang back and recover." Major Bar'ac Xei asked through his helmet's visor.
“Sir whatever your name is and whatever your rank is I must inform you that it’s my job to hold this city. You can go and attack but I can only give you a few of my men. We need to call for more supplies, weapons. Well you name it we need it. if you can spare some weapons and or troops that would be nice. This city is very important to there attack plan as far as we can tell, they need this city to get to our capital and or cut off most of our supplies to and from the army. Over all you can chase the narfnonians but I need to stay here with my troops.”
"Major Bar'ac Xei, and Lt Colonel, I don't need any of your men, as for supplies I can spare 2,000 M1 Pulse Rifles with 2,000,000 rounds of amunition. It was never our intention to help you hold this city after we pushed the enemy back, but if you need reinforcements that badly I can spare two Infantry battalions with heavy support gear, if it will help you hold this city. Now if there isn't anything else you deseperatly need, I have a battle to direct." Major Xei said becoming quite anxious.
Von Beek and his fire team moved forward. The four Pathfinders had been tasked to scout out the area around the fuel dump. Berger, the team's long-rifleman, looked through the scope of the Barret XM109, to confirm what Von beek had seen in his fieldglasses. "Yup...It's a unit, all right. Section strength.....not Narfnonian or Seangolian."
Von Beek nodded, and ordered his men down. "Safeties off, lads. If these boys turn out to be hostile, I want a nice, clean, quick takedown. Chen, head over to that foliage, contact Path1, find out who these lads are. Dawson, you take cover over there. Berger, switch to your Sphinx. That cannon of yours'll be no good up close."
"the team scuttled off to their assigned positions. Von Beek heard the almost-silent, low-pitched whine of Chen's TacRad set as it found the channel the Pathfinders were communicating on. "This is Path4 to Path1, we have a sighting.." he continued to reel off details of the patrol.
***
General Daleburn nodded as he heard the reports "By the sounds of it, that's the lads from Carthago Deuce. Excellent. Order Von Beek and his men to stay their ground, and they are not, I repeat,, not to engage at any cost. Hamblin!"
"General?" Emma Hamblin, the HQ team's Political RadOp, turned her head inquisitively.
"Do we have a radio contact channel for Carthago?"
"Not as yet, General. I'm working on it though."
"Good. As soon as you get a sig, tell them that we are in the area, and perhaps a joint operation is in order to take down this fuel dump..."
Lieutenent Birger, Commander of Werewolf Troop Charlie
"Lieutenent Birger, we just recived a secure message from Corp. Commander Gunnar. It reads as follows" said Troop Charlie's comms officer,
To: Lieutenent Birger, First Autonomus Werewolf Brigade, Commander Troop Charlie
From: Corp. Commander Gunnar
Lieutenent Birger, in your area of opperation there has been deployed part of the Karullian Pathfinders. They are inerested in coordinating a join attack on the Seangolian fuel dump which is also in your area, and you are hereby ordered to cease all other opperations until said fuel dump is destroyed.
We have given them your opperating frequencies and they will be making radio contact with you shortly.
To further support you in this mission I have ordered that Alfa and Bravo Troops be placed under your command.
Good Luck.
"Lieutenent, the Pathfinders have just given sent us the location of their base of opperations, and have requested a meeting to discuss how best to achieve our mutual objective."
"Tell them we will be there in two hours. And ask them how we should signal them, to let them know we're friendly." Lieutenent Birger asked, re-sheathing his kopis, and getting ready to move out.
"Good-morning, Lieutenent. We are here to question the captured Seangolian, sir." said Staff Sargent Shulman, "Is he available?"
"Follow me Staff Sargent. We had to give him his own quarters. He became quite hysterical when we placed him with the other casualties." the Field Surgeon replied, "Here we are."
Staff Sgt. Shulman and his accompanying Corpral enter the tent, and begin the interogation.
"Hello son, we'd like to ask you some questions. . . about you, your home, things like that." says Shulman to the Seangolian, "What is your name?"
Commander Vespasian punched the air inside his tank.
"That'll teach them not to mess with Imperial might! For the Emperor!"
A small tinny voice sounded from his comm.
"Sir, the Seangolians are still coming!"
"What??! Are they crazy?"
"Yes, Sir. They've pulled back their Zealots and are letting the infantry come forward."
"Well, tell Captain Servius that his men are needed." He pressed a key and adressed his gunnery crew, "One of you, get up there and man the machine guns."
"Already done, sir."
---------
Captain Servius cycled a round into his grenade launcher and began diagnostics on his suit.
"Well Legionnaires, looks like we're needed after all. Check your weapons and assume positions. Anyone breaking ranks will be shot." He warned, but he knew no one would dare desert, lest the wrath of the Emperor be upon them.
"Fight for the Emperor. Praise be his name!"
"For the Emperor!!" The Legionnaires roared.
"You would be correct Miss Linsay, please be seated." Lt Colonel Hui'dra Qwoi'gho said sitting in an uncomfortable armchair. He wore Draconis ranger armor, except for a helmet that he had sitting on a table nearby. Without his helmet one could see his scaled face and feathered mane. The features of his face were very human, but with the small shiny scales that followed the edge of his mane down his neck gave him a distinct reptilian look, common among his kind.
Rei's own feline appearances were a stark contrast to the Lieutenant Colonel's reptillian appearance. Whilst she did, for the most part, appear human, her feline slit pupils, coupled with pointy cat-esque ears sitting on top of her head, rather then to the sides, gave her that feline edge so common of Gnufasurians.
A smirk came to her mouth, as she took her offered seat. "Let's cut to business, shall we? The Terkomai Arms Corporation has agreed to assist Frooba by lending them a small number of their Dogs of War. Two of which were sitting by me when your Lieutenant came to bring me here." She motioned to the female standing just outside.
"Consider this more of a formal acknowledgement of your forces by ourselves. Our Dogs of War will be operating behind enemy lines, demoralizing the Seangolian and Narfnonian forces, and sabotaging their war efforts, as is their intended purpose. I will make sure they are advised not to attack any of your troopers, and you may as well wish to spread around information concerning the Dogs of War to your troops, to cut back any possible friendly fire." She offers him a small smile.
((OOC: Pardon the double-post... >_>))
Days after the first Packs were deployed, the remanents returned, hauling a slain Seangolian soldier, in all it's power armored glory, back to their base camp.
Sighting the Dogs of War approaching the Port City, a small group of two security guards move out to retrieve it, helping carry the dead Seangolian back to the base.
"Cred! Drec drehk ec rayjo!" One complained as he and the other worked to haul it onto a borrowed vehicle found somewhere in the city.
"E vaam cunno vun draca Tukc uv Fyn." The other says as they climb into the vehcile and start it up, "Lusa uh, mad'c kad pylg xielgmo." He eyes the surroundings, the built-in sensors in his helmet automatically detecting any heat emissions in his field of view, "E tuh;d mega paehk vyn vnus dra Myhtehk Lnyvdc..."
With that, the two drive off, bringing the corpse to the Staging Area, where it is loaded into a storage crate on a Landing Craft for transport back to the Oil Tanker, where the body will be dissected and the armor sent to the Main Weapons Research and Development Labs at Gnufasur for reverse engineering...
The Lt Colonel kept a stern military face as she sat down and smirked at the opposing Lt Colonel. Hui'dra Qwoi'gho was never one to understand the purpose people used humor in all it's wide diversity and vulgarity, but he acknowledged her all the same with those cold calculating eyes. "We shall." The Lt Colonel then listened to what she had to say as he divided his attention between her and a topographical map that lay before him on a paper thin vid screen. "Yes, I ordered Lt Das'ui Jak'xei to escort you to this room alone, and unarmed." Hui'dra said eyeing her side arm, "Which I see she was unsuccessful at, she will have to be disciplined." The Lt Colonel said a little of topic.
The Lt Colonel further listened to her and broke his emotionless gaze, "I will see to it that all Draconis Forces know of your 'Dogs of War' and know how to properly deal with their presence." Hui'dra said with a half smile before it quickly faded. He then ordered the Lt into the room and said, "Lt, please escort Miss Linsay back to the blockade and inform them that they are to allow passage to the 'Dogs of War' and all other Terkomai Arms Corporation employees. Understood?"
The Lt, responded with a salute and said, "Yes sir." She than dropped her salute as the Lt Colonel did the same. Lt Jak'xei then turned to Miss Linsay and said, "Miss Linsay, if you'll follow me." Before she Lead Rei Linsay out of the room and into the hall before closing the door behind them.
Das'ui then removed her helmet and smiled, she looked Rei over and said, "I've never seen one of your kind before, but chances are you haven't seen one of my kind before either." Das'ui said raising her free right hand behind her head and placed it on her feathered mane before she let out a short laugh, and let her arm fall back to her side. Das'ui then asked Rei a question, "Miss Linsay, or can I call you Rei? Why did your nation send, beg my pardon, a mercenary company to aid a foreign power rather then their own forces?" Das'ui said inquisitively.
He wasn't getting anywhere fast.
"Corpral, I'm gonna go take chow. Are you good for fifteen minutes alone with this guy?" "Yes Staff Sargent, I think I am." replied the Corpral confidently.
Rei giggles behind her hand, "Ay, you may call me Rei. Believe me, I've been called far worse, both to my face and behind my back. And you're right, this is the first I've seen of your race. But, I suppose that's why I'm with the EHAV Group, eh?"
She listened to Das'ui question. In truth, she was half expecting it. "Well, you're twice mistaken. I'm the only Mercenary in this group. The rest are all Corporate Security Forces. I'm here because I speak English, and the Corporate Ess-Effs don't." She shrugs, "The Gnufasurian Government also has nothing to do with this deployment. If they had it their way, we wouldn't be here in the first place. The Gnufasurian way is self reliance, isolisism, and apathy of the highest degree. The President and the people could really care less what happens to any nation that isn't Gnufasur. To quote a bumper sticker I saw once, 'Yc muhk yc Gnufasur ec cyva, dra nacd uv dra funmt lyh pinh.' Which, when translated to english roughly means: As long as Gnufasur is safe, the rest of the world can burn."
Again with the non-chalant shrug. The way she spoke, and the way she carried herself was of one of a true mercenary, whose only cause was money, who'd fight (And kill) for any reason, as long as the pay was good, "But, don't get me wrong. Terkomai Arms isn't benevolent either. They're only here to test their new weapon in a real life combat situation before setting up to sell the product to the Armed Forces. S'why there's so few of 'em. I'm more then certain that after Professor Gast feels that they have gathered enough data to justify coming here, they'll pull out, and leave Frooba to fend for itself. That's the cold truth of it, I'm afraid."
She yawns as they near the checkpoint, eyeing the two Dogs of War that had accomapnied her. "Well, it was nice chit-chatting. I'd be glad to field any more questions you might have. This far into the allied controlled zone, I doubt I'll be doing much except sitting around and watching the Dogs bring back things of interest."
An aid walked into the Grand Leaders chambers and said “Sir the attack on Galp has failed”
“Then its time for you to die” was what Vacra replied
“Wha..What? NO! Please don’t…please anything for you but death”
“Its to late for that once you fail me you have broken my trust. You have three options though. One you could die, two you could join the military as a front line solder with no training, and three you can go to the slave camps. Its your choice really.”
The aid could not respond any option meant almost certain death, so he lay there waiting for his lord’s decision.
General Fasco was made very mad his assault had been ruined by the new forces from whoever they where.
“I want MI-24s and SU-22s in here now and the TU-95s level the enemy machines. Artillery increase rate of fire I want them forced out! Tanks at the ready.”
Admiral Bombra moved his Destroyer forward targeting the Frooban Corvette. They would take the ship out before it even knew his ship was there. Now they had to make sure the people where dead or captured, none would be allowed to return to the Froobans. They would be dead or maid to serve the Grand Lord Vacra.
((OOC: I feel it'll be easier to RP the seperate actions of my two groups in seperate posts. Dogs of War in one post, Rei Linsay and Professor Gast in another.))
Outside the City of Galp.
Carefully, a small pack of Dogs of War picked through the carnage of the battle between the Draconis backed Frooban forces and the Norfroneian soldiers. As this, they more resembled carrion dogs then actual beasts capable of attacking anything, picking through the dead and dying, occassionally killing a soldier just on the brink of death.
Mostly, they were looking for items of interest. New guns, gadgets, and anything else that the Terkomai scientists could study and turn around and sell. Anything that wasn't already known to the Gnufasurian people was a treasure, as even relatively cheap guns could be the ground work for a newer, never before thought of design for guns.
They took extra care to not be seen by either allies or enemy possibly left lurking around. This was more of an operational parameter then some sort of self-presevation idel. It was fairly certain that few of the allied forces were awar of there presense, and would likely respond with a 'shoot first, ask questions never' approach.
All over the Frooban landscape, this scene was repeated. The Dogs of War weren't so much as fighting the enemy as they were picking over their remains for anything of interest or value. And, it wasn't limited to enemy. Anything dead, weither allied or not, was fair game, and anything they found deemed keepable was going back to the Terkomai labs for reverse engineering.
However, the few packs that WERE assigned to demoralize the enemy soldiers did do their jobs amibly. For both groups, it wasn't uncommon for a soldier or two patrolling a relatively safe area to be suddenly found dead, of a snapped neck, or bleed dry through a knife-like wound in the back...
And then there was the occassional one soldier found horribly disfigured, as if he or she had been disabled, then stripped, then chewed to death, while still alive.
((OOC2: Just tossing that out there. Feel free to react anyway you please. :D Also, please remember that the Dogs of War, outside of their ten member Packs, usually don't travel in groups larger then three. Chio! :D))
"Ok, Rei it is then." Das'ui said with a sincere smile that could lighten any heart no matter how much pain it was in. It was a gift Das'ui had, she could make anyone happy and she knew it, and enjoyed doing so. Das'ui then asked another question, "Rei, what's the EHAV group?" Das'ui said in a slightly childish way.
"Oh." Das'ui said a little disappointed, she wasn't expecting an answer like that, she was Dracon, and her people held loyalty and honor as their highest values. A Dracon was worthless without them, so much so that they might as well give up on life all together. She had never suspected that any country could be so selfish that it would refuse to aid a country out right. "Then we both have something in common, I'm a linguist. But my nation is much different, our way is honor above all else, I once saw a poster board that read, with honor comes strength, with strength comes pride, with pride comes a need to protect. It was a poster board for the service, so instead of waiting till I was drafted I pre- enlisted and waited. You'd not believe how old I am." Das'ui said wanting Rei to ask.
Das'ui knew only one way to carry herself, as a Dracon. She moved swiftly beside Rei and never lost step, the way she walked was more than an art it was perfection. Das'ui listened to what Rei had to say then commented, "Well I doubt we will be moving either, the Lt Colonel's orders were to secure this beach and he has just begun building the defenses. Sadly due to my usefulness, I won't be seeing combat any time soon." She than looked over at Rei and said, "I could help you pass the time, you know give you someone to talk with. After all this is a great opportunity for me to learn another language, and I could keep you company, that is if you don't mind me hanging around you, that is?" Das'ui said pathetically trying to hide the fact she wanted to know more about Rei and her people.
(You would be horrified by how brutal my Dracon can be to their enemy, ecspecially since they destroyed that which is sacred to the Dracon. Though you must know the Dracon don't leave any allied dead behind, very creapy yes, but true they take the ranger creed to the extreme.)
Rei chuckles. "The EHAV International Group is... Well, they're the people who trained me to fight, who house me, give me all my supplies, and otherwise find work for me. They're basically a guild that trains soldiers, houses them, and then finds contracts for them." She returned the smile, although hers was noticibly less bright and cheery as Das'ui.
Rei listened to Das'ui for a while, then smirked that little predator smirk of hers once Das'ui mentioned age. "I'm guessing... 23? And yeah, I don't mind you hanging with me. Later I'll probably cruise around the port on my cycle. I'd invite you, but you're with the Military and all. Heard they're really strict about what soldiers can and can't do." It was abundently obvious that the reason Rei was a Merc was because she wasn't one who was fond of being told what to do. "Oh, that reminds me, your Lieutenant Colonel mentioned he was going to have you punished for not taking my sidearm," She motions to her holstered 10mm pistol on her thigh, "Then again, there was no way you'd have known about my other weapon...."
She sharply taps the heel of her boot against a hard surface. Namely, the head of a nearby Dog of War, which didn't seem to care. From the sides of her boot sole, two blade halves flipped out and slid along a perdetermined path to form into a whole blade at the front of her boot. "Nasty little babies. I can't count how many times these things have saved my hide." Another sharp tap, and the blade retracts back into her boot sole.
OOC:Just a quick info bit on seangolian soldiers: They care not for the dead. While many have "Leave no Man Behind, Dead or Alive", the Seangolians have "A Dead Man Serves No Purpose" motto. Basically, if you can't walk(Or injured beyond all repair), you're left behind(However, you will not suffer as every Soldier has several Cyanide pills, incase of capture, or to die faster). "Sir, First and Second Division have reported heavy casualities in the past few days. However, it appears that there is no longer any enemy resistance, from the looks of it. Third division has effectively reestablished supply lines, as well."
"Good, good. Perhaps it is time to show the enemy the true strength of Seangolia. Have First and Second Division move forward to the North. Due to the enemy have effective high powered weaponry, capable of destroying our Armor, have the infantry move in the front."-General Gordon
*************Mid-Frooban Jungles, First & Second Division************
"MOVE OUT!"
"GO GO GO!"
"ON YOUR FEET, BROTHERS!"
"GET UP!"
"SCRAMBLE MEN!"
The Jungle was alive with voices as the various captains rallied the soldiers. It had been days since the last sign of the enemy was seen, and not even a ruffle in the forest has happened since. Toppled trees and other fauna carpetted a great deal of the forest behind them. The stench of rot had just begun to set in as the plants started their decay. Columns of smoke dotted the sky here and there, a testament to the battle of the days before, and to the Seangolians ruthless burning of the forests to destroy the enemies ability to ambush and hide. Compared to the lush forests that carpetted the area previous to the war, this was a dead and burned place, unrecognizable from it's previous grandeur.
The Seangolian forces begin their move North. Thousands upon thousands of soldiers march onward, in a wide column several miles across. The steps of so many upon the earth caused slight shaking in the ground... until the Zealots rolled. Hundreds, if not thousands, of them, a wall of Armor and Steel. The Ground shook for miles, the air was alive with thunder. A massive wall begun the slow push forward, prepared to roll over all those who tried to stand against it. And so the Seangolian Offensive began.
***********Third Division, meeting the Narnonian Commander outside the city of Galp***********
Das'ui listened to what Rei said and tried to think what it would be like to have someone train her, house her, and supply her to fight wars for no other reason than the cause to earn money. She found the thought repulsive, it was nothing she would ever think of doing, she had her honor, and that was all that mattered to her.
Das'ui grinned and lowered her head to her chest then raised it up again, "Nope, not even close, you'll have to do better than that." She said shaking her head no with a lovely smile. Thanks, I am grateful, and what's being military have anything to do with the way I spend my leisure time?"
When Rei mentioned that her Lieutenant Colonel said he was going to punish her for not removing Rei's side arm she made a little noise barely audible, "Oh, really, well than I can be expecting kitchen duty or maintenance duty for a while. She then looked at what Rei was showing her and said, "Wow, that's cool, but not as cool as this." Das'ui said raising her right arm and lightly tapped the top of her arm. Two blades sprung forward from their concealed armored sheaths and locked into position. "Their brutally efficient at hand to hand and quite deadly when used properly." Das'ui said with a fanged grin.
To: Overall Command, Ftagn Forces
From: Corp. Commander Gunnar, Carthaginian First Corp.
Sir, we are about to halt the enemy advance with an experimental weapons system, but we need your tanks to keep the damnable Zealots away from our artillery while they are deploying it. We recomend that you park them in defensive positions our Special Weapons units can provide you with.
As a friendly warning, keep all of your forces close to our lines, or they will be wiped off the map.
***
All along the Carthaginian line the call came out, Corp. Commander Gunnar was ordering the use of "Hellfire" artillery munitions on the opposing Seangolians.
(OOC- These rounds are not traditional arty rounds. They are gas canisters containing either propane or gasonline (an arisole spray) in the first phase of the barrage, and acetellyn (contained in much lower pressure containers) in the second phase. When a cloud of gas of the desired size has accumulated it is ignighted, creating a truely massive air-burst. In this case the cloud will be around a mile deep (but concentrated primarily in the jungle which is still standing, to prevent it from being blown away.) by five miles long. It should take a few days to build up.)
~~~
Where ever the Sixth Division is (somewhere Southwest of the Seangolian Northern front line),
"The Seangolians seem to have passed us by. As such I feel that we should be heading West, and taking the fight to the Narfnonians." said General Enok to his Regimental Commanders after considering the map in front of them, "If we stay here they will eventually just over-run us with a force of Zealots, like they did the Fourth and Fifth Divisions. I think it is pretty safe to say that this becomes less likely the farther West we move.
All the Commanders nod in agreement.
Then it's settled. We move out at 13:30, Werewolves lead the way.
~~~
The Southern Front,
"General Eser, this is Corp. Commander Johaness. I'm reciving reports that the Seangolian Third Division has broken off from you, and is moving to support the Narfnonian forces at Galp.
You are to take the First and Eighth Divisions and Persue them. The Third Division is already on its way there, and you will also be meeting the First Division of First Corp.
Corp. Commmander Johaness, out."
~~~
At the Pathfinder/Werewolf prearanged meeting,
"If I wasn't, we'd both be dead by now Corpral. Specialist Private Paige, Second Section Troop Charlie, First Autonomus Werewolf Brigade. Lead me to your taker." replied the Werewolf with a grin.
He then wispered something into his throat-mouted comm-set and the rest of his Section moved out from the surrounding foliage to join him. Then the rest of the Troop did the same.
~~~
M.A.S.H 23,
"Yes, I understand." the Corpral says to the Seangolian, "I have seen first-hand the power of Sean's will, and know that many of my compatriots feel the same as I do. We desire to join with the Seangolian forces, but are afraid they will kill us on sight."
The government of Gilabad is willing to give full support to the nation of Frooba. We are preparing to deploy (if permitted)
-300,000 regular troops
-600 "Alpha Force" special forces troops
-15,000 M12 "Battlefortress" tanks
-12 AC-130D "Delta" gunships
Rei frowned, pursing her lips together. "Well... Hmmm... I give up. How old are ya then?" She pauses, then shrugs. "Dunno, really. Wouldn't want your commander to think you're fratinizing." She gives the other woman a wink, and playfully sticks out her tongue, before quickly retracting it.
She closely examines the Das'ui's arm blades. "Nice. Ya know, there's another Mercenary in EHAV with weapons like that. His name's Leo JanaKin. I don't know him too well, since he's always partnered with that psycho Kami, but from what I hear, he's a Master of the Claw of the Goddess fighting style. That's a feat in and of itself, believe you me."
Before either of them are able to respond with anything more, a blue suited Terkomai Arms Corporate Security Officier strides up to them, briefly saluting Rei before speaking, "Rei, untanc eh vnus Gast. Ra fyhdc du du bnulaat du dra Carthagon MASH Unit 23, du yccecd fedr yh ehdannukydeuh. Ymcu, cbaleym untanc tenald vnus Gast..." He presents her with a small, PDA like device.
Rei nods and accepts the device, reading the information displayed on it...
~~~~~~~~
Rei, I've dispatched a trio of Dogs of War to the MASH Unit already. I want you to ensure that they are not tampered with by the Cathagons. The last thing we want is classified secrets getting out.
One more thing. Try to convince the Cathagons to hand the soldier over to us after they're through with him. For motivation. If you can get us the soldier, I'll add on a bonus to our already agreed upon pay.
Professor Gast
~~~~~~~~
Reo heaves a sigh, shaking her head, before addressing the officier. "E caa. Damm Gast E'mm kad ed uh yc cuuh yc E lyh." The officier nods, salutes briskly, then heads back for the temporary Command Outpost on the beach. She looks back at Das'ui, shrugging. "My employer just gave me an assignment." She cut her eyes, looking away very suddenly. Can't believe he'd be so bold as to tell me to condem some poor human to life as a Dog of War... Whatever, a job is a job, and money is money, She thought to herself, before shaking her head, as if to clear it. "Anyways, I'd better get on it. I wouldn't put it past Gast to dock my pay if I'm not there by morning." She gave the other woman a less then thrilled grin.
She glanced once more at the PDA. Besides the special orders from Gast, it also contained a Map, showing her position and where the MASH Unit was.
Das'ui retracted her blades and nodded her head, she hadn't ever heard of that person but most likely their bladed combat style was similar. "Well, I've never heard of any of those people of the fighting style you just told me, but no doubt his art would be a sight to see."
Das'ui smiled and replied, "I'm thirteen, we Dracon have an accelerated early growth pattern, for the first ten years we age roughly twice as fast as humans. But after those first ten years, we have a decelerated growth pattern, roughly we age a tenth-year for every year afterward." Das'ui said with a kind grin.
Das'ui was a little shocked and blushed at the joke, "Uh, like I said, what ever I do in my leisure time is of no business to my superiors. Though the thought is a little, well 'strange', but flattering." Das'ui said with a warm smile, if not only to cover her own surprise and her embarrassment. She then looked up at the night sky and lost herself in their many lights.
Das'ui was caught off guard by the sudden appearance of the security officer but remained calm, even though she had been pulled out of her trance in the mist of a tranquil dream. She listened to the two and listened to their conversation, she was sure that Rei was being given orders, but she wasn't sure what type nor did she want to know either. What Rei said confirmed her suspicion, and from her reaction it wasn't a pleasant one at that. Das'ui then reached out to touch Rei's hand unconsciously, but stopped herself in the process and spoke to Rei, "Uh, Rei when you get back can we continue our conversation? Uh, well, that is only if you want to that is. I don't want to force you or make you promise or anything." Das'ui said blushing again and stuttering ever so lightly.
Rei wasn't so naive as to not notice the little hand gesture Das'ui made towards her. Keep this up, and I just might have a funclub in Draconis. Heh heh heh... She flashed the young woman an award winning smile. "Hey, when I get back, you'll be the first I fill in on all the juicy details, deal?"
She turns as if to leave, then stops, turning back to Das'ui. "Hey, if you want, after this whole thing is done with, I'll see if I can't introduce you to Leo, yeah? Think about it, kay?" Giving her new found friend a wave, Rei turns and heads back towards the beachhead, where her motorcycle waits...
...
Rei's motorcycle ate up the Frooba terrain, racing for the MASH Unit. She felt the wind lash against her suited body, her helmet's visor protecting her eyes from any possible flying bits of matter.
Clutching the brake ever so slightly, she saw her destination on the horizon. As promised, the three Dogs of War (http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y245/Beta_Solution/Monster.jpg) were waiting on a hilltop overlooking the MASH.
Slowing her motorcycle to a stop near the three, she reached out a hand to touch one, nodding as she eased the bike down the hill with the Dogs of War in tow.
She approached the checkpoint leading into the MASH, removing her helmet as she stopped in front of the Cathagon soldier. "Hello. I'm Rei Linsay, with Terkomai Arms Corporation." She presented a set of photo IDs, confirming her identity. "I've been informed that there is a captive enemy soldier? If need be, I'll assist in interrogating him."
When Rei told her that she'd fill her in afterward Das'ui brightened up and returned Rei's award winning smile, "Thank you Rei, I'd really like that. I'll wait for you until you return from your mission. Till then Rei." Das'ui said before turning around and walking back into the command bunker but before she was out of sight she turned around and waved fair well to her new friend Rei. "See you when you return Rei, and good luck on your mission." Das'ui said before entering the building and returning to the Lt Colonel's command room.
She knocked on the door and he commanded her to enter, "Enter!"
She walked in at stood before then saluted, "Lt Jak'xei reporting as ordered."
Lt Colonel Qwoi'gho returned her salute and spoke, "You know why you're here, you forgot to remove a visible weapons, a punishable offense, your punishment, a month of kitchen duty. Dismissed." Lt Colonel Qwoi'gho saluted and dismissed her.
She returned his salute and exited, after she had closed the door behind her she thought to herself, 'Well it could have been worse, it could have been longer.'
Von Beek nodded and motioned forward. The foliage came alive as the other three members of his fire team stepped out of the undergrowth.
"Glad to be working with you. We've been in the area about two days now, and I can tell you this- it'll need some damn good work to get past their defences. A single section couldn't do it. We've got another 12 lads back at our camp, and another 16-man section within a days march. From what I can gather they have at least a company there, if not an entire division. Any suggestions?"
************
"General!" Hamblin's urgent voice cut through the otherwise-still Frooban night.
Daleburn's eyes immediately opened and he was up and out of his bivouac, rifle in hand "aye, Hamblin?"
"We have reports that elements of the Seangolian First and second divisions are heading north toward our position!"
Daleburn grinned "Then radio all units in the area. I want each individual grid square booby-trapped to hell. Then it's time for a little war of attrition, ladies and gentlemen. Everyone is to be issued with a LAW, and I want two-man sniper teams set up throughout the jungle. Everywhere those Seangolians go, i want them to have trouble. If we can slow them, maybe our Carthaginian allies can attack them from the rear. "
******
For the next few hours, no less than seven grid squares were made into potential killing zones by the pathfinders. Mines, snares, pit traps, even an oak tree rigged to collapse. The expert guerrilla warriors set up their positions, concealed completely, no team of more than two, and each team at least 500 metres apart. The pathfinders lay in wait. Just under 120 men, versus two whole divisions. This would be interesting...
Congrats on your graduation, Carthago!
The fighting has pretty much stabalized into a line war. Narfnone and Seangolia are pushing West into Frooba, and Frooba and her allies are holding them about 150-200km from the Frooba's Eastern coast on the Northern fronts, more in the South.
As for a map, think of Frooba as a combination of Vietnam and Laos, and Narfnone as Thailand and Cambodia. Dense jungle in the north, ranges from plains to light jungle to urban/sub-urban in the South.
That time the dump wasn't even full, and it was like a small nuclear blast. This dump is full, and is fully operational. replied Lieutenent Birger to Von Beek "I've been considering the problem, and feel that our chances of survival would be maximized if we could call for dust-off and be air lifted out before anything explodes.
I think I have enough personel that we could potenialy carve a short coridor into the dump, which your men could use to get in an plant devices. We should be safe from the Zealots as long as we keep our backs to the fuel. "
Rei nods, taxiing her motorcycle up to the motorpool, and hopping off. The three Dogs of War follow her in, one turning to look at the sentry as it passes. It seems to huff in his direction, before moving on to be near Rei Linsay.
Stuffing her helmet on her cycle's handlebars, Rei runs a hand through her long hair, then moves to intercept the sergeant before he returns to the prisoner. "Pardon me, Staff Sergeant Shulman? I'm Rei Linsay, with Terkomai Arms Corporation. I believe Professor Gast had spoke to you about me coming to help with the captured Seangolian?"
The three Dogs of War come up alongside her, two on the left, one on the right, sitting on their hanuches, their fingers just barely touching the ground. The single red mechanical eye on the front of the metal mask covering their face quickly glancing over the Staff Sergeant, before glancing all around the MASH, searching for any possible dangers...
"Roger that Alpha zero-one-one, you may proceed to your first objective, you no what to do"
"Roger that, end transmission"
Alpha zero-one-one makes its way through the dense jungle to get to their first objective which is to destroy a fuel depot. Navigating for about an hour they come to a road. The team leader notices that it is loaded with traffic along with enemy convoys....
"Freeze!"
"What is it sir?"
"Looks like we've hit a road, and its got a lot of vehicles moving on it, scott go check it out"
"Yes sir"
Scott crawls on his stomach through the brush to get a good look of the road. 3 minutes later....
"Sir Its got enemy convoys on it and it's going to be hard to cross without getting spotted, but if we can road block it and set up a distraction we can keep vehicles from moving and we can create a diversion."
"Great idea, it's time to call in an airstrike, I'd say about 4 miles up the road"
When the airstrike is called, the roar of the A-10 is unmistakable, it releases its 1000 pound bunker buster bomb which creates a crater in the road 30 feet deep. The team then crosses the road with all of the enemy vehicles heading up to the site of the explosion.
Seemingly at the mention of their name, a single DoW enters the building, striding past Rei to sit in front of the Seangolian soldier. There was a good chance he would soon be one of the things sitting in front of him, if the cat woman was correct. The single, glowing red eye sat there, unmoving, focusing on the soldier...
"Then again, only Professor Gast knows what he wants with him. Maybe he just wants to interrogate him, then execute him, or some other such act. It is not my place to know of such things." She shrugs, very non-chalant. "But, if you've already gathered everything you need from him, then you have no further use for him, correct? ". . . want not." said Corpral Hunt, "But I really don't think he would be much use to you. He is missing five eighths of his limbs, that would make him pretty much useless as a DoW I would pressume. More importantly though, he was able to poison himself. I don't think he'll last much longer."
The naivete of the Seangolian, and his ernest plea, caused pity to well up in the young Corpral. He decided that the wretch shouldn't have to suffer any more than he already had.
"Rei, I know this isn't proffesional, but would you be willing to tell your superiors that he caught something. . . an infection or something, and died not long after you got here?"
Over the PAS: "We have incoming wounded. Surgeons to your posts. T Minus 27 Hours to ignition. Don't forget that tonight is Skit and Talent night, begining at 18:30 in the Mess tent.
Somewhere near Fuel Dump 2,
"If friendlies were imbound Corp. Command would notify us." Lieutenent Birger relpied, "And as too the heilocopters, 60 isn't enough. Almost half but they would still have to make several trips. . . the Lieutentent trailed off.
I just had a rather farfeched idea, but it might work. I'll bet if we were able to get inside some Zealots we'd be able to survive the explosion. I saw one's fuel tank blow once. It tossed five others a few hundred feet, and the crew survived. It should work.
"Lieutenent Birger! Incoming message from Corp. Command, high-priority." said Charlie Troop's comms. Officer, "If we fly the Seangolian Cross, and tell the Seangolians we encounter that we are sympathetic to their cause they will cease fire apperently."
Rei gave the soldier a one time glance, his words for mercy falling on uncaring ears, "The limbs are no problem. I do believe we can replace those. But... That posion... That's a shame..." There goes my bonus... Or... Maybe not... Rei sighs, leaning back against the doorjam. "Still, I'm getting the feeling that Professor Hojo would want the corpse. I mean, he's been collecting the enemy corpses killed by the Dogs of War, so I'm pretty sure he'd want this one. If, only to find a way to nuteralize the poison, to use against future POWs. But then again, only Professor Gast and Goddess Cori knows what he wants with the bodies."
Shge gave the Dog of War sitting in front of the Seangolian a look, before glancing back at the Staff Sergeant, "Before I forget, since we're allies in this affair, could you share with me what you've learned from him? I'll distribute the inormation to our other allies on the field, as well."
Von Beek nodded, his face creased with concern. "I see. Unfortunately it's been made very clear we can only get the three choppers at most. IF we can capture some Zealots or other form of transport we may be okay....It's a risk we have to take, Lieutenant. That supply dump MUST be brought down."
He looked up as the junior comms officer broke the latest transmission. "Oh really? Then our job may already be half done for us. All we need now is a Seangolian flag..."
M.A.S.H 23,
"What he told me is that if we fly the Seangolian cross and say we wish to defect, Seangolian forces should cease fire." says Corpral Hunt to the neko, "But one would think that this would stop working after the Seangolians realize that we aren't serious. And so you know, the final decision about you taking the prisoner lies with Staff Sgt. Shulman."
"And I'm thinking we will be giving the prisoner to you," the Staff Sgt. chimed in, "but only if the Terkomai Arms Corporation would be willing to exchange information on limb regrowth or replacement for him."
Somewhere near Fuel Dump 2,
"I agree, the dump must be destroyed." replies Lieutenent Birger, "I don't think we will be able to secure both the motor pool and the fuel through covert means. . ." he looks at his map, and at a diagram of the fuel dump, "I'll send Alfa and Bravo Troops around to the Southwest of the compound, they will be charged with securing the motorpool. They won't be subtle about it though, and this will provide a suitable distraction to cover the more covert entrance of Charlie troop from the North or Northwest, I'll leave that up to you, who will secure a coridor to the primary fuel storage area for your Pathfinders, who will move in and plant charges. I think after that our people will be wanting to part ways, as a base-full of angry Seangolians might interfere with your extraction otherwise. Once the Pathfinders have exfiltrated Charlie Troop will move to the motor pool, destroying targets of opportunity along the way. Hopefully this will distract the Seangolians from our activities at the fuel storage area. How does this sound to you?"
Alpha 011 finally makes it to fuel dump 2, and they set up positions on a hill to the northeast of the compound to get a good look. The team sniper, max, sets up his Barret M82A1 50. caliber and scans the area with his thermal scope.
"Sir, I think I see some movement to the southwest of the compound and it doesn't look like the enemy"
"Alright keep observing until we get a confirmation on where their position is"
"I'm on it"
1 minute later
"This is Alpha zero-one-one to friendlies, our location is northeast of the compound, what is your current position over?"
OOC: Kajiztahn will be the enemy in the RP. If you take a glimpse at our nation, we are communists. We work hard, and do not support anything out of the ordinary.
OOC: The Disputed Territories of Kajiztahn is a small, economically powerful nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8 million are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.
The enormous, corrupt government concentrates mainly on Law & Order, although Social Welfare and Education are secondary priorities. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 23%. A healthy private sector is led by the Soda Sales, Information Technology, and Woodchip Exports industries.
Nudity is frowned upon, the tenet of free speech is held dear, the government is seen to favor Catholics, and euthanasia is legal. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Kajiztahn's national animal is the Vulture and its currency is the Dhung.
The Kajiztahnian Army is the strongest, most feared army in the region. You can find President Adolf Stocker in his Office barking order's to his General's due to the very high risk of Kajiztahn being attacked.
"Sir!" yelled Freidrich Zipotopht, the Minister of Defence.
"Our UAV's are detecting some hostile radio activity in the de-militarized zone!"
"Send out Höss's squad to check it out and call up all men to gear up and get ready to fight." said Adolf Stocker, the President of Kajiztahn.
"I didn't think it would come to this my friend, but tell your comrades this could go national."
Gilabad, I know you might be well meaning in your attempt to aid the Karullian and Carthaginain SF but please maintain radio silence. Trying to make contact in the fashion you are would serve only to alert the enemy to your precence RL, and make them aware of ours if we responded. If you wish to make contact with our forces use one of our chains of command.
For the Werewolves contact Corp. Commander Gunnar, for the Pathfinders contact General Daleburn.
Igor Höss briefs his men about the mission and gives them a Situation Report.
"Alright men lets have a brief SitRap on this mission."
"It is 1900 hours and partialy cloudy. Ivan you are in charge of Alpha I will be taking Bravo."
"We will first clear the compound area because the UAV detected some movement there, then we will seperate and take different paths up the hill."
"When we reach the top we will set up a defensive crescent to secure the perimeter. Any questions?"
"Sir?"
"Yes Ivan?"
"What if we dont make it?"
"We will make it. Just remember one thing, fire at anything that moves. Be it a pig or a goat or an OpFor, shoot it."
***********
"Mr. Stocker!"
"Yes?"
"We have some disturbing news!"
"Whats that?"
"3 of our men! Shot dead by a sniper!"
"What!?!"
"Yes! .50 caliber rounds were found off in the distance"
"Do you have any names for me?"
"Well Sir, Sergeant Igor Höss and 2 of his men were shot while attempting to clear the compound." "Men say they never even saw where the sniper was."
"Thats impossible! A .50 Caliber rifle, be it a Barrett, and M2, an M-82 or an M-95, all have the Devils Cry for a sound." "And, they each have a 5 foot muzzle flash!"
"Does the press know about this?"
"No, but they soon will!"
"Shit! You are dismissed Arfmed."
"Yes Sir."
Slow down Kajistahn. Due to the fact that you RPed another nation's personnel killing your own, failed to specify who's side you are on and what the size of the force you are deploying to Frooba is, did not allow time for this un-specified force to move into the area, I will be disregarding your posts up to this point.
Also, I recommend that you sit back, watch other people play the game for a while and let your nation grow. Then when you have a fair-sized population, and a good grasp of how to play, we can have a war.)
Ok I didn't say my sniper fired at ANYTHING. (until now)
As max observed where all the sentries were, the team decided that it's time to move in.
"Ok max you cover us on our approach, and charlie, you stay with him and send the CODED signal for the AC-130D gunship support if we get bogged down."
"Yessir!"
Under the cover of darkness the team moved to the south to avoid friendly fire with the friendlies in the area and began moving in.
"Sir"
"What is it max?"
"I've got 2 bogies coming in on you do you want me to scratch em for you?"
"Fire at will max"
2 shots rang out along with a 3 foot long mussel flash, and the team leader, jhon, shouldered his suppressed M14, and the remaining 6 of the troopers shouldered their weapons.
Ok since we're trying to keep this going I'm going to go ahead and continue.
The assault team breaches the door into the main part of the compound, while max and charlie cover them on there way in.
"Sir all hell is breaking loose around the compound"
"Alright max you just watch our backs"
"Yessir!"
Leutennant Jhon enters the first room with his team in entry formation. He sees 3 enemy sentries in the back of the first room. "Click, Click, Clic-Click"
is the only sound heard from his suppressed M14.
"Enemies down!"
