I have many coments. Most are minor nitpicks but some are major sugestions.
Advanced Torpeatoes: The blast effect of an Advanced torpeatoe has been increased by 5x the power of the regular torpeatoe which blew up the death star.
As I'm sure you know the proton torpedoes destabalized the main reactor. The reactor exploding is what destroyed the Death Star.
It can break through weaker shielding thus of a light transport, but will have a harder time with the shields of a Captital Ship (SD, for example).
No fighter carried torpedoes should be able to even harm cap ship shields. They're just to strong for fighter grade weaponry.
Advanced torpeatoes could take out a AT-AT in 4 hits.
They should be able to do so with 1.
These Missiles are typicaly used against medium/heavy Captical ships (Frigates, Cruisers, Star Destroyers).

The actuall lasers themselfs can easily destroy a fighter in 3 km, the 100 m I was refering to was the auto-targeting system wich 100% guarentees to hit the target.

(OOC: I believe that you're right, but, I'd have to say that it'd be somewhat unrealistic if fighters didn't advance enough that they could withstand at least one hit. Depending on the power rating of the PD gun of course, among other factors. Either way no one weapon should remain that effective against something forever, cap ship or not.
I think that within the realm of NS, while this isn't a very good excuse, a fighter designed to go against Cap ships should be able to take some kind of punishment from them.
Note: I'm not trying to bring up a point to argue, but that's just my opinion on this.)
