Lunatic Retard Robots

In response to Robotstani Navy Specification No. 212-8a, King George III Shipwrights of Lesser Kingston have finished the first five of a planned ten Type 46 Island class multirole frigates.
Designed as fast, capable, multipurpose ships with the capability to operate in shallow coastal waterways, the Type 46 is considered a very good design. While not up to the standards of many trimiran vessels operated by a range of foreign navies, the Island class definately represents the RDF's closing of the technology gap. While the class will still serve alongside Daring class destroyers, Leander class frigates, and even some Dido and Leander cruisers, the Type 46 is a thoroughly modern vessel that can hold its own against enemy attack and even dish out a bit of its own.
