The Group of Six (G-6) Economic Alliance
Pacitalia, Roach-Busters, Holy Paradise, Hamptonshire, Liebermonk and Parthia
The G-6 has considered its position in the international scene and feels that the exclusivity of six members is unfair to those who have equal or slightly-weaker but still powerful economies. As a result, the decision has been made to expand to sixteen members.
There will be thirteen spots available, as Roach-Busters, Holy Paradise and Parthia are no longer in the alliance effective 1 April 2005.
Current Members
The Capitalist Republic of Pacitalia
The Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire
The Corporate Utopia Land of Liebermonk
Conditions of Entry
Population higher than 1.5 billion people as of June 1, 2005
An economic rating of All-Consuming or Frightening
A GDP per capita constantly on or above $35,000 (according to an average of all four economic calculators - NSEconomy, Sunset, Pipian and T-T, and dropping the deviant fourth figure to create a realistic average)
You must be a nation known to at least one member already in the G-16.
Post-Acceptance Conditions
At least 10% of your exports must go to the countries of the Group (all together, not 10% to each country)
At least 10% of your imports must come from the Group countries (again, all together, not 10% to each country)
You must donate at least $1 million US/month to the alliance aid fund in case of international humanitarian or economic emergencies which the Group will respond to
Benefits of joining
Increased and guaranteed trade with other members
Economic support from the other members if needed
Improved ties with member nations
Your nation will become a greater part of the global economic picture
Of course, we will consider any nation that comes here, but obviously will not take you seriously if you do not fit the conditions of entry. There will be absolutely NO leeway for you even if your averaged GDP per capita is just a smidgeon under $35,000 USD, say $34,900. $35,000 is the minimum. I must also stress that even if you are an ally of one or more of the existing members of this group, it doesn't not necessarily mean you will be allowed entry. Also, we don't discriminate against PMT/FT/MT nations. As long as you fit the above criteria, we could care less if you are FT.
Another point I must stress is that we are a peaceful, non-military alliance. We are strictly an economic co-existence entity, nothing else. We do not channel hostilities towards other nations through the G-16. Any type of postulation with the G-16 used as a backbone for such an activity will be met with reprimand or expulsion.
And finally, I also must say that if you are not accepted, it is definitely nothing personal against you OOC. It will probably be a reservation we hold against your country IC which has caused us to deny your application.
The G-6 will become the G-16 when the thirteen new members are sworn in on a date to be decided, which will be between 15 June and 1 July, 2005.
Thank you!

The Grand Dominion of Bedistan would like to humbly submit itself for consideration in the alliance. As one of the largest and economically strongest powers in our region, with a population in excess of 4.3 billion and per capita GDP estimates anywhere between $35,000 and $45,000, depending on whom we've had provide the analysis, we feel that we would be a very strong partner in the alliance, strengthening both our own economy and those of the other fifteen member nations. We have been involved in international affairs in the past, particularly in the realm of international sporting events, and will be hosting the second incarnation of the NSFA Cup shortly. In addition, we have recently been in talks with Pacitalian prime minister Timothy Ell, and as a result are known to the Pacitalian government.
We appreciate you taking your time to consider our application.

The Second Empire of Fluffywuffy is an economically strong nation with a shifting emphasis from military power to economic power. We have already attended several trade conferences and have attempted to promote free and open trade in all nations. Sunset rates us as a $35,012 per capita nation, while Thirdgeek rates us as $40,622.73 per capita. Pipian, rating us as $35,000, gives us an average GDP per capita of $36,878.24. While we don't have any relations with the current members--we did have relations when Roach-busters was on the list--we hope that, in time, someone who has relations with us will join the G-16.

Dear Timothy Ell of Pacitalia,
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rosta Einvach, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, current Chancellor of Commerce, member of the Rosian Socialist Party, and member of the Imperial Council.
The Imperial Union is highly interested in joining this... Group of Six. The Imperial Union's economy is unmatches, its currency nearly rating to two american dollars. The trade deficit is also very low, very very low compared to other economic powers. We also run a semi Government controlled economy, which doesn't allow for depressions.
We are also good friends of the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire, so the Imperial Union believes we are adept for this group.
Yours,
Chancellory of Commerce

Subject: Admission into the G-6
With a recently attained economic rating of Frightening and strong diplomatic relations with both Pacitalia and Hamptonshire, we would like to take this opportunity to express our interest in joining the G-6. We believe we would be a solid fit into the organisation and would be more than willing to extend benefits to those countries that are members.
We look forward to hearing of your decision.

The Unified Capitalizt States are interested in joining the G–6. We believe our powerful economy (with a per-capita GDP of $35,000 by the crudest of estimates, and over $47,000 by generally accepted methods) would be enhanced by participation in the group, as free trade with other powerful economies would be greatly encouraged. Although our government cannot supply the requested funds for international aid, the members of the Capitalizt Defense Alliance* have agreed to provide this money (as it is a small price to pay for the increased prosperity that G–6 membership would bring).

07-06-2005, 05:34
The Government of the Grand Duchy of Hamptonshire will take into consideration all serious and legitimate applications for membership in the Group of Sixteen. Our evaluation of candidate nations will be based not on previous or current relations with the Grand Duchy but on their perceived impact on the image and composition of the Group of Sixteen. As such the Grand Duchy may be forced to reject nations that have been stalwart allies and accept nations that have been solid foes.

Ab-shalom and greetings;
We would say Vastiva meets all requirements, being known to one of your members, having a GDP per capita regularly in the $40,000 range, having secured a Frightening economy a very long time ago and never faltered from it - we are an economic powerhouse in so many meanings of the words, and more then willing to increase our trade connections for mutual benefit.
We await your decision.

To: The G-6 Group
After hearing news of the expansion of membership within the G-6 the Empire has grown extremely interested in said economic organization/group/meet. Consequently, we are hear to turn in our application for membership, or at least for review.
Unfortunately, we found some problems concerning our GDP and per capita, ourselves. Although NSeconomy claims that our per capita is lower than the pre-requisite underscored by your organization, Pipian puts us at 35,000 USD. We hope that your organization believe the Pipian organization more than NSeconomy. Regardless, we will brave an attempt entrance anyways.
Fortunately, we do know some of the nations currently into the G-6, incuding Pacitalia and Hamptonshire - and are allies with the former. Our population is much higher than 1.5 billion, being almost 4.3 billion, and our economy is frigthening.
We do hope that good news comes concerning the GDP. If not, we would at least ask the G-6 strategies in increasing the per capita - as our economy seems not to increase.
Thank you, regardless of your decision,

Also, a long time ago, the Siapian Intelligence Network conducted an operation in Holy Paradise during a popular uprising. We eagerly awit your response.

I am interested in my Empire joining the G-6. We have remained an economic superpower for many years. The Pipian calculator currently rates us at $35,000 GDP per capita and the Thirdgeek calculator rates us at $35,980.45. The Greek markets are eager to trade with the rest of the G-6 members and our 3 billion consumers can't wait to buy G-6 member products.

The Dutch Democratic Republic of Knootoss would like to apply for membership off the G-16 group. I felt most encouraged by our preliminary contacts and am hoping to deepen free-trade ties with economically powerful nations committed to the ideals of freedom and prosperity.
I think that the newly elected Staten-Generaal will also support membership of this organisation – although I must stress that this application is temporary pending the Prime Ministerial elections taking place in 8 days.
At the same time I hope that membership of this organisation will be compatible with the KIST economic stability treaty, as I feel that this treaty and the G-16 have similar objectives.
Yours in friendship,
Galadriël
