THE ASSOCIATED PRESS (AP)-

The evening news organizations last night reported that Archon-Prince Daniel Pryde, 18, and son of the late Archon-Prince Victor Davion Pryde, had "come out of the closet" regarding his sexuality.

The Archon-Prince reportedly told news reporters from the tabloid Chaos that he was Gay, while staying at his private resort on the far outskirts of Tukayyid. The news has shocked and outraged many extremist religious groups around the world, but has also earned many praises from his loyal followers, and Gay-Rights activists groups.

"The Prince has every right to be whatever he wants to be, and we applaud him for his courage in coming out and expressing himself to his people," says Dameon Redburn, President of the Gay and Strait Alliance (GSA). "He should be loved and praised in such times as these."

Other folks do not see it the same way. Melinda Nelson, Chairwoman of Strait Pride, and Vice President of Families First, a group which has ties to many religious organizations, is one of those people opposed to the Princes' new found sexuality.

"The Prince should be ashamed of himself!" She told reporters on the steps of the Capital Building's Rotundra of Heros. "Homosexuality is an abomination under the Lord, and he damn well knows it. If HE becomes...gay...we risk everyone becoming gay. It's like a 'oh, well, the Prince is doing it, why not me' attitude."

At first, the reports from Chaos could not be confirmed, and there is a call for proof by many within the government, as well as a call for a full investigation regarding the incident. Many on Capital Hill call such a meeting a "violation of the Prince's privacy." One of those people has been the Prince's mentor and senior Military Advisor, Marshal of the Armies Morgan Hasek Davion.

"The Prince, especially at his age, should be allowed privacy, just like everyone else!" said the Marshal, while speaking to reporters from his office at The Hall of Heros Military Compound. "His father was just assasinated three months ago; the least these people can do is give the young man some privacy, and respect his wishes, whatever they may be."

When asked about his opinions and views regarding the Princes' sexuality, the Marshal declined comment, stating that his job was to the Prince, not the Princes' sexual preference.

A Gay-Rights march is planned today in the City Center of Tukayyid, and city officials are expecting tens of thousands of supporters to show, as well as those oppose to Homosexuals and the lifestyle. Police and military personel have been put on full alert, but the March is expected to remail peaceful and friendly.

When attemping to contact the Prince for his own personal account of what his preference is, he could not be reached for comment. However, his secretary left this note, supposidly by the Prince himself.

"My fellow citizens, I appreciate everyone's love and support, and I will keep all of you in my prayers tonight. I ask everyone to please respect my privacy, as I would yours. Thanks you."

The statement was signed 'DP'.

In the past, the young Prince has spoken to private organizations regarding his support for Same Sex marriages, and has voiced his support for Equality for Gays and Lesbians many times. However, he has also voiced his strong belief in God and Jesus, and has expressed his love for both on many occasions.

The Chief Editor of Chaos, Tom Jones, could not be reached for comment regarding the authenticity of the report, and no statement was released by the company as of Friday evening.

I was hoping someone would start controversy over this, but apparently, it's just not gonna happen.

We congratulate Prince Daniel Pryde on his openness and descision. Our only concern is if the title Archon-Prince is hereditary, a homosexual ruler may lead to succession concerns amongst the population.

We, even as an unofficially Christian nation, do not feel that the Prince is wrong in declaring this, although we do wonder why it is any of anyone other than the Prince's business.

Corzia has only one question: Why is this "Breaking News"? In any case we will continue to support the Prince, no matter how he lives his private life. He is welcome to Corzia at any time.
