To honour the recent coronation of Emperor Mathew Kellerman, the Galactic Empire of Taledonia has decided to host "gladiatorial" games in his honour.

If you wish to participate, simple send some of your generals, admirals or commanders to command your virtual military. Bring information about your technology and such as so our holographic units can create your militaries.

For the battle, the hologram will create a small planet, that is just one big open plain with a giant river running through the middle, seperating each force; and for space wars, an open space for large fleets to duke it out without any real consequences to your actual nation.

Games will begin in a couple weeks(NS time), all participants must be on the planet Taledonia and must have signed up and entered their information so we can holographically create their forces. We would also prefer if you sent a message ahead of time so we can reserve a room for you within the Imperial Palace. Also, when entering Taledonian territory, please check in with the nearest starbase as not to be stopped, as is protocol.

Official message to the Taledonian empire:

The Empire of Kazecistan wishes to become involved. A ship will arrive within the hour.

The ship did arrive, and along with it, the unclassified specks of the Kazeci first fleet, Red Comet.

As the information was added to the Taledonian data base, the KishNa (flagship of the Kazeci fleet), 42 Super Cruisers (dreadnaught class ships), 18 Heavy Battle Carriers, and 72 Torpedo Ships (long range frigates) appeared on the display.

ooc: Will there be teams? How many, etc.?

As said in my first post, the simultaed planet will be a giant plain with rivers seperating each nation. Nations will also be given a base on their side of the river based on the technological information they give us; and a space station in orbit around the planet, also generated by the info provided. There will be no starting teams, but you can form alliances if you wish, but there can only be 1 winner.

Kazecistan does not want a position upon the planet, or orbiting it for that matter. However we do thank you for the offer.

As you wish, but it's for land battles also, and the orbital platforms are probable going to serve as repair stations.

A courier ship has been dispatched with a link for our military command network and data concerning our military assets.

Would it be possable to have a free standing space station?

Yes, but you said you didn't want a station.

Not an orbiting station, but if it could be somewhere else I most defiantly want it.

A small Cobra Class Destroyer appeared, on it were Admiral Shellington and Admiral Harroun, commanders of the 4th and 5th Pudite Battlefleets, respectivly. They brought with them the specs for their space fleets and attatched ground forces to participate in these games. The ground forces of the 3rd fleet are equivilent to 14,280 regiments of 1,140 men. The 4th battlefleet holds 3,807 regiments of 1,573 men. The 4th battlefleet is a mechanized regiment and although the 5th fleet's force contains tanks, the mechanized fleet holds many more, 221 to a regiment to be exact. The Pudite force is ready and waiting for the battles to begin.

The Drafainic forces will be four battlefleets each consisting of:
8 Dragon class Dreadnaughts
16 Hive class carriers
32 Fortitude class medium cruisers
64 Gordian class light cruisers

the ground forces will be two reinforced Planetary Assault Battle Groups, each consists of aprox 25,000 soldiers and assorted vehicles (Drafainic ground forces do not normally include tanks)

ooc: if you had read all of the posts, you would have noticed that we had planned to let this thread die. Please understand that we are engaged in a real war in another place, and cannot be here at the same time. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

I noticed, but you weren't the only person in this thread so if other people want to continue it I don't see a problem. just becaus eyou don't want to continue doesn't mean that the others don't either

ooc: Taledonia is out of town, and would be very buessy if he weren't. He has had much time to respond to this before he left, but hassen't. It would be hard to do with the host gone. I also add that only one other person is intrested in this, and has posted but once. If you want to continue, fine. Just pointing these things out.
