Today, it has been announced that in the wake of the successful missions to NP-1 and NP-2, new variants of the Mao Zedong class will be built.
"In this time of great instability, we move to preserve our independence by any means possible. This means expanding the military, if necessary," Premier MacIntyre said.
The expansion calls for the creation of six new ships, as well as the creation of a new carrier class and a new fighter class, as well as an upgrade of existing ships to use antimatter reactors.
Also planned is a new mobile suit design, based on experience with the Veritech Valkirye and the Sparta.
OOC: I might need help designing mobile suits, if possible. Something Gundamish for space combat and like the Tau XV-8 Crisis Suit for ground combat would be cool.
