Yes, I'm a newbie, yes, I'm desperate to start RPing. And unless your RP is really bad or too complicated, here is all you have to do to get another person (or two) to join your RP:

Come on people! I know this has got to work, because not only are thre deseperate nebies like me, but there are desperate RP makers, like I don't know who. If a newbie wants to jump on the bandwagon someone advertisies there RP , they can post too, and I'll TG them when we have an RP.

You would probably get far better results by joining in with open RPs. While I know nothing of your RP skills (from this thread, I'm guessing that you are at least decent), no matter how good they are not many people will take you up. While this forum is far easier to crack than NS, people will still judge your by your newness and most likely not ask you to join. Instead, join some open RPs and possibly start one of your own, basically to show off a bit. Once your post count is up a bit and you are a bit older, people will ask you to join in with RPs, saving you a lot of work.

I can barely find open RPs, let alone join them. And actually, I really don't know much of my RP skills. I've never done a real RP. I guess I could try starting one, but I'd rather get a feel for them first. I understand that people won't ask me to join, I guess this thread would appeal to desperate RP makers.

Me? Well my idea is espionage. To make it more interesting, corporate espionage. Hell, let's just make it covert corporate warfare. We all get a company, and perhaps X amount of spies in each other's companies, and we must RP our secret war. It must be kept secret because the government would kill us all if they found out. So maybe one of us could be the government. Sounds crazy enough to work to me, at least.

A Sicarian base has been discovered by Hydrax command. This base is located inside an asteroid field of high density. Two squads were sent in to investigate and if possible, destroy this base. Unfortunately, they found themselves to be overpowered and are stuck inside. As this asteroid field is of high density, flying a ship inside of it is near suicide. Hydrax command is willing to risk sending in five shuttles to retrieve the original two squads.

These two squads are running low on ammunition and food, but none are wounded. Yet. Each squad consists of three men, and they each have enough food supplies for one week consisting of high concentrate energy cubes and oxygen activated liquid packets. As long as there is 1% oxygen in the air, the packets can activate.

The choices of rank for this mission are as follows.

Private
Corporal
Sergeant
Lieutenant

The choices of weapons are as follows.

MX-3880 Sniper Rifle: It has an accurate firing range of up to six thousand meters. Each clip contains enough energy for ten shots set on maximum power. It has a maximum of fifty shots set on minimum. It is equipped with a bipod and scope with a zooming capacity of 25x. The scope is also equipped with a heat signature view and an electronic sensing view.

RG8 Assault Rifle: This weapon has an accurate firing range of up to 200 meters. Each clip contains enough energy for twenty five shots set on maximum power. It has a maximum of one hundred shots set on minimum. It can be set to single shot, three round burst, or full automatic firing. The automatic has a 240 spm firing rate. It is equipped with a mounted grenade launcher. This launcher can hold up to five grenades. Each grenade has an explosive capability of ten feet in diameter. You can also equip gas, EMP and smoke grenades.

Z98 HADW (heavy assault defense weapon): This weapon has an accurate firing range of up to 150 meters. Each clip contains enough energy for 100 shots set on maximum power. It has a maximum of 500 hundred shots set on minimum. It can be set to single shot or fully automatic with the automatic firing 1000 spm. It is equipped with a bipod.

G18 Sidearm: This weapon has an accurate firing range of up to seventy five meters. Each clip contains enough energy for five shots set on maximum power. It has a maximum of 25 shots per clip set on minimum.

TRL Stun Rod: This weapon is meant to incapacitate a living opponent. It releases a maximum of 700,000 volts on contact, and a minimum of zero. It has a battery life of 2.3 days.
B5 Frag Grenade: This grenade has an explosive radius of ten feet in diameter. It releases shrapnel as well as small particles of napalm. It is anti-personnel.

B5 Gas Grenade: This grenade is meant to incapacitate an organic foe. It releases a cloud of gas which will seep into the victims’ skin and poison their blood. It kills in under one minute. A serum can be applied to a recipient in order to remove the poison and it can also be applied before the grenade is activated, thereby insuring the firers’ safety.

B5 EMP Grenade: This grenade is meant to disable any electronic device within its range. It has an effective range of twenty meters.

B5 Smoke Grenade: This grenade is meant to create a visual distraction or cover by releasing a large cloud of thick yellow smoke.

Woah. I don't know what happened to this thread while I was gone. I'll try to answer everybody.

Well, it has to do with the politics in my country. There was just elections and it was very different, i.e., the ruling party lost all power, the new party has a massive majority, and they're about to change Spolotikopian politics. I just need to figure out how to get it to work on the international scene, how to get others involved.
