Subject: Construction Contracts

Greetings, on behalf of City 69. Our nation's leaders are interested in contributing our state-run construction agencies to your efforts and needs. We are most interested in the need you have for industrial buildings, namely material refineries. As a matter of fact, we are prepared to offer quite a bargan: for the single payment of $75,000,000, plus the additional cost of $10,000,000 per extra site, we cover the building expenses, material expenses, and worker fees until the project is completed. There is only one extra condition: in addition to receiving discounts on products later on, we wish to have 15% of the refined materials from all of the factories we build for you. Given the inexpensive nature of the construction costs, this shouldn't be to large of a problem. Thank you for your consideration.

Respectfully,
Bill Fargun

A very interesting proposition, and one which we are considering. Will you be able to produce Uranium mines, or does this go against any statutes you follow?

Van Luxemburg: I am declaring the bidding over and for the sum of $20'000'000'000 USD, the ships will be docked at the ports of your specification, the crews will then be airlifted out over the next few dyas.

Mobile Asset Repair Station (MARS)
Cost: $ 2.5 Billion

A mobile facility near the battlefront where parts can be repaired or manufactured. In wartime, replacement parts are repaired or manufactured in the theater of operations for a variety of deployed weapon systems through MARS. The mobile facility can be land-based or water-based in the theater of operations, but out of harm's way. The facility features a set of fully-integrated flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) and robotic systems that are linked to the commercial manufacturers. These manufacturers supply the specifications to the FMS which then produces the part or component. Many of the required materials necessary for MARS to manufacture the components obtained from local countries.

If your still after infrastructure buildings etc. I might have a proposition for you. The following is some of our products which we may be releasing on the open market in the future. They were originally designed for military useage but can easily be adapted for any purpose. You are the first person outside of our nation to be offered these plans:

OOC: These are from an up and coming storefront i'm planning and are only in the initial stages on development so they may be horrendously over/under priced or whatever but let me know what you think. They are based on RL deisgns so they are possible in MT and the stats should be OK.

Semi-Permanent Support Buildings

Mobile Modular Hospital

Mobile, modular and autonomous these hospitals can operate within two hours of their arrival in the theatre of operations. Thanks to a high-tech system integrated in modular containers, the mobile hospital enables medical and surgical teams to operate, resuscitate and provide intensive care to the same medical standards as an infrastructure hospital. Use of international standard 20ft containers assures compatibility with all road, rail, sea and air transport.

The modularity concept permits the size and functions of the hospital to be adapted to the specific requirements of each operational deployment. Extending covered gangways at the ends of each module permit easy movement of personnel between all the medical and surgical modules and tented wards. Every component is modular and can be interconnected to others of the same range. This package should provide everything a standard division would need in terms of medical support in the field until casualties can be evacuated to a regular hospital.

Contents:
2 Intensive Care Modules (100 patients)
2 Surgery Modules (everything needed to set up 2 operating theatres)
10 Covered Ward Modules (500 patients)
5 Accommodation Block Modules (enough for up to 350 medical staff)
25 Tented Wards (1000 patients)
5 Medical Support Modules (contain X-Ray scanners, advanced treatment equipment etc.)
5 Technical Support Modules (includes generators, fuel storage, food storage etc.)
3 Administration Modules (to provide admin for CO etc.)
2 Large Helicopter Landing pads

Total cost: $350 million

Mobile Modular Fuel Distribution Centre

Based on the same modular, container style pattern as the hospital above. This Centre can be interconnected with any other modular design. It is designed to be able to keep armoured vehicles or aircraft operating for extended times in the field. Can be adapted to carry any fuel or liquid. It includes:

20 refuelling modules (each with 2 pumps)
2 Technical Support Modules (Provides generator power etc.)
1 Administration Module (to provide admin for CO etc.)
5 50,000 litre fuel storage tanks

Total cost: $40 million

These buildings are modular and are designed to be carried on the backs of standard 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ton trucks (which we are also offering please ask for details) and can be set up/taken down extremely quickly and this makes them ideal for almost any useage.

OOC: If you don't want them don't worry. I'm just trying out something new for a possible storefront.

Basically yes, but I based it off a modern french design which is still in the R&D stages at the moment I believe. However the basics of the design are still heavily MASH based, but much more mobile (and without the hilariously funny doctors!) and technological. Any input that could be given would be appreciated even if it's negative. This is only a very tentative design and i'm just testing the water before I launche a storefront.

We will take five of your mobile hspital "thingys" and 20 of the fuel distributors.

The government of Lesser Ribena is pleased that you have chosen to implement the use of our designs. The full total for our products will be, as you have stated, $2.55 billion. However as this is our first sale we will accept a more rounded value of $2.5 billion and as a special service to you we will provide full delivery of the products via our merchant navy and will assemble them in locations of your choice, FREE OF CHARGE. Provided you will allow us permission to land a number of engineer detachments in your country. We estimate that full construction of these facilities can be completed within 2 months and will require a battalion sized engineer force (around 500 men). Is this acceptable to you?

12-06-2005, 17:58
We thankyou for your permission to enter your country and we have dispatched the necessary men and equipment in a convoy consisting of the following:

Supply Craft (Commodore Parkin)
4 Gabin class RO/RO cargo vessels
2 Normandy class assault ships
1 Quay class resupply vessel
4 Ryzner class heavy hovercraft

These ships will carry the required supplies as well as the buildings themselves. Also on board are a selection of 2.5, 5 and 7.5 ton trucks in order to transport the equipment overland.

The above ships will be sent under the protection of the First Lesser Ribenan Fleet:

First Fleet (PI) (Admiral Hewitt)
1 Constellation Class Dreadnaught (HMS Centurion)
1 Sea-class battlecruiser (HMS Steadfast)
1 Praeton-class heavy cruiser
4 Johnston-class destroyers
1 Wixted-class frigate
2 McDonough-class ASW frigates
2 Hastings-class strike frigates

We are sorry to have to send this military force but many of the ships in our merchant navy have fallen prey to pirates operating out of our region recently and only the sight of a heavy escort will deter them form attacking. This has become standard protocol recently. We will, of course, not allow our military ships to enter your territorial seas and they will disengage here and return in approximately 2 months time to protect the return journey.

We hope that this is the start of a long and prosperous relationship between our two countries and we hope to continue with such diplomatic exchanges in the future.
