Dan the Merciless, due to recent actions that have completely appalled our government, we formally declare war on your pathetic nation of cavemen and horses.

The war starts at an abandoned border station in Dan the Merciless. The station has been evacuated, and all that remain are one unit of MP's. The Holy Empire of Random Militants sends one division of paratroopers in to the station to capture a bridge across teh river dividing our countries, the Dan River.

The paratroopers, armed with mortars, Bazookas, and other small arms secure the bridge and wait for a counterattack.

Relations between Random Militants and my nation have been strained over the past few days. But now you dare to invade! I have dispatched all avaliable units to the bridge. Two infantry divisions are heading to stop the flow of enemy soldiers. A battalion of armor and artillery are now on the banks shelling the advancing troops. And a division of paratroopers have dropped behind enemy lines and are quickly beginning to surround the Militant Army.
More troops are being mustered along the Teh River and will launch a counter strike if further agression by Random Militants is persued. For now we are fighting a defensive war until Random Militants agrees to a cease-fire.

THIS IS AN URGENT BROADCAST FROM DAN THE MERCILESS

Minutes ago President Dan I was assasinated in a coup de'ta by the military due to his lack of desicivness in the invasion by Random Militants. The new leader, General Dan has ordered all forces across the Teh River in a offensive action. But, have met stiff resistance. All citizens pray for a quick end to the bloodshed, so that we may properly mourn for our lose of President Dan. Until then this further escalating conflict seems to have no end in sight.

Good luck to our brave soldiers in the field.

We could use assistance in defeating the hated Random Militants. Please, send all avaliable units to aide me in my campaign to overthrow Fuhrer Charlie. This call for help goes out to anyone!

Why is Random Militants attacking Dan the Merciless again?

"Down with the INFIDELS"

A suicide bomber crosses the water unseen, and detonates near a truck. The explosion shakes the scorched earth around it. Dan's soldiers regain themselves and find themselves cought in a rain of artillery fire as a second, smaller assault storms across the river in amphibious vehicles. Due to craziness placed by the artillery, Dan's lines of troop movement across the bridge temporarily retreat to regroup their tattered lines.

While Dan's troops regroup, a group of engineers, taking advantage of the momentary break in action, start to complete their mission by placing charges on the bridge while being covered by the small strike force.

Dan's troops counterattack just as the Commandos retreat back across the bridge, and when most of them are safe, the charges are blown, and the bridge is destroyed to stop further forces from crossing the bridge.

Two generals discuss the effectiveness of the victory:

#1 "We have achieved our goals, but with the cost of many lives"

#2 "They died for the Fatherland, that is all that matters, besides, we will make them pay by keeping almost constant artillery barrage for a while."

More reports are coming in from the front. It appears to be a total stalemate as both sides send more and more troops into the area. Thankfully Dashnalgot has deployed troops to help us in our cause. For this we salute Dashnalgot. The Grand Fleet is setting out today to bombard Random Militant's port cities, good luck! Meanwhile casualty figures mount. No one knows how many are dead now but we've been told it's very high. General Dan will try to pass through Parliment authorizing a draft. After this he plans to hold a funeral for our dearly departed President Dan. We salute our brave men and women out there how are fighting and diying to protect our nation.

LONG LIVE DAN THE MERCILESS!!

Waves of bombers and fighters take off from nearby airforce bases. Their objective-to destroy the regrouping Militants. Special anti-Toyota Pick-up truck land mines are being set on every major road. The 8th Army Group is scheduled to arrive in two days consisting of thousands of seasoned veterans. They drop their deadly payload over convoys and troop formations, decimating the Militants. But anti-aircraft missiles and guns open fire and several planes are shot down. Tank divisions are beginning to cross the border and have taken the Random Militant Border town called Charlie's a Big Douche.

We will send 5 C-130 Hercules planes to give medical support for the Dan. Also, we will send 150,000 troops to support Dan's military resistance. Along with the troops, we will send 160 M1A2 Abrams tanks.

We give thanks to Spartanox for their militarial assistance. With this aide we will be able to defeat Fuhrer Charlie!

Moments later, the roar of jet engines is heard on the horizon as bombers speed towards dan's major cities in an effort to disrupt Dan's peoples' morale and their cities. The roar of tanks can be heard screaming towards Dan's forces that have aready crossed the bridge. The 100 tanks are accompanied by 4 divisions of the most elite of the Random Militants soldiers, the Black Berets. Equipped with everything from grenades to rockets to MG's, the Black berets storm towards Dan's bridgehead in an effort to drive them into the river. Due to the compulsory military service from birth in Random Militants, 4 mre divisions of soldiers and heavy vehicles wait in reserve supported by artillery and SAMs.

The troops at the original bridgehead have been surrounded and cut off from all support. Reserves have been pulled back to retake Charlie is A Douche, but due the groups of Dan's soldiers piercing into Random Militants, they have been scattered and all but destroyed. The troops stationed in the western half of random militants are put on high alert and rush East to retake Charlie is A Douche.

This just in: Random Militant's jets seen over major cities, our own jets are meeting them in a spectacular aerial battle, one that if made in a big-budget movie would win for best picture! Tank columns are rumbling forward to meet enemy tanks. 50,000 troops are already rushing over another bridge ten miles south!

Soldiers of Random Militants, I ask you now, what has become of you??

News Flash!!!

Due to the recent break through at yet another bridge in Random Militants, Fuhrer Charlie has authorized an extensive fuel-bombing plan to cripple Dan's presence here. Just moments ago, over 250 B-2 Spirit Bombers took off loaded with over 300 fuel bombs to take out major bridges on Teh River and to cripple Dan's forces in Random Militants.

In other news, a fierce battle to retake Charlie is A douche has broken out, in which Random Militants trained-from-birth army of brainwashed soldiers outnumbers Dan's forces there are outnumbered two to one. Fuhrer Charlie is reported to have said that it will only be a matter of time before our second largest city is retaken.

The Armed Replublic of Theurl enters into the war on the side of Dan the Merciless. The Republic sends 10 of their most elite snipers and 15000 of their infantry units. The president himself would have come but he is on a peace keeping mission to the southeastern portion of Theurl.

Random Militants is formally sending an invite to any Dan-Hating country to join our side and wipe Dan and is allies into the dirt.

Mationland condemns Random Militant's actions to wipe out Dan's nation . Mationland will assist the defenders (The Empire of Dan the Merciless) . We have dispatched Contingent 12 of Our Mationland Royal Navy . It comprises of 2 Nitmitz-class carriers , 5 SBNs , 1 SSBN , 2 Missile Dreadnoughts and 10 Pheonix Class Frigates . It will be accompanied by the 15th Navy brigade comprising of 10,000 troops with the back-up of 10 Cruisers .

If necessary , Mationland will dispatch is 50th and 45th Airborne Paratrooper Brigades , 24th and 35th Tank brigades , 35th and 67th Fighter Squardrons and 40th Company Bombing Brigade .

Mationland will be sending 5 ship-loads of ammunition , supplies , medicines and spare parts of tanks , planes and ships to Dan's Nation .

The President of The Armed Republic of Theurl orders the 23rd air strike units to aid Dan the merciless. They are coming on some carriers. They should be at the air strip within the hour. There are about 50 F-15's in the battalion.

Reporter : The Chief Of Staffs of Mationland's Combined Forces , Rachel Debbei , has ordered the the 20th anf 43th Company Bombing Brigades to bomb the Militant's suspected Headquarters . Now we are going to interview Supreme Gnrl Rachel Debbei .

Reporter : Gnrl Rachel , why is it that you've ordered the bombers to attack the militant's suspected HQ ?

Rachel : We have received intellegence reports from the MSA (Mationland Spy Agency) on the suspected location of the militant leader . After showing the reports to the Dictator and President , we have decided to launch this attack .

Reporter : what if we don't suceed in killing the militant leader , but instead injure or kill some innocent civillians ?

Rachel : I doubt there any "innocent civillians" , more likely working for the milita somehow , in one way or another . If there are , than we're in the wrong and will apologize world wide that we have accidentally killed some innocent civillians .

A recent memo from Fuhrer Charlie reads:

Your pathetic attempts to destroy me were unsuccessful, and I am safely hiding in one of my safe houses. I hope you know that you will all pay for this direct threat to my life with every weapon I have, meaning EVERY weapon!

As we are about to begin our battle at Charlie is A Douche, I have decided to reinforce my strike force with tens of thousands of soldiers, planes, tanks and artillery shells from all over my nation.

The Armed Republic of Geeks With Guns hereby sides with the Holy Empire of Random Militants because of it's stand against Dan the Merciless' rebellion. To reinforce the battle at Charlie is a Douche, we shall send an elite force of highly-trained sharpshooters, 300,000 troops, 50 M1A1 Abrams, a fleet of 40 F-18 bombers, 1,000 medics, 500 engineers, multiple arms and ammunition, and 5 portable SAM sites. We wish Random Militants well.

The reports from the Charlie is A Douche front are flowing in as our forces fed by the constant stream of weapons and soldiers coming from the newly activated military bases in the eastern half of the contry, are plowing through Dan's garrison in Charlie is A Douche. Top general Charlie is reported saying that "the slime is almost clean off of the feet of our gloious nation"

Also, Fuhrer Charlie has said that after Charlie is A Douche is cleared of remaining Dan troops and completely retaken, he will be directly interested in establishing a two day cease-fire on the days of June 4 and 5 to regroup and count casualties.

The Cease-Fire will do the following:

-Create a two day rest period starting at 12:00 AM on june 4th and ending at 12:00 AM on June 6th. At this time, all forces will be able to properly count and bury their dead soldiers and try to establish contact with any lost units.

Fuhrer Charlie asks that all nations involved in the war please accept this cease-fire so that we may pay our respect to our fallen heroes.

Jim Johnson, the newly elected president of Theurl heard of the battle of Charlie a Douce. He sent a fleet of KC-130 planes and 400,000 infantry men. He also put 10,000 F-15 Eagle attack planes on aircraft carriers. They have all taken off and the 400,000 men are now under the command of Dan the Merciless. The F-15 eagles have their target and are now streaking towards them. There are also 100 B-52 stratofortresses in the air preparing to bomb the living daylights out of all the military bases of Random militants.

DHN:" The President of Dashnalgot has formal spat upon Randomn Militant's cease fire offer, and has said that the Cease Fire offering should be looked at as a ruse from a conered and crippled enemy"

Maj. Goroney looked out from the opservation plane as his division crawled into there postions at the edge of the front. Seeing all units in positon he opened the window on the Cesna and stuck out a flare gun and fired. All hell broke lose. Machine guns laid down covering fire as troops advanced encouter litte restance. Goroney took a deep breathand thought it's a beatiful day for war.

We accept this temporary cease-fire and all my forces will stand down for the time being. But we will remain in defensive positions. We encourage all of our allies to accept this as well. We promise that it is only temporary. And fighting will continue after it is over, on the morning of June 6th. we thank all our Allies for what they have done.

The Oppressed People Of People Being Oppressed hereby engage the war against The Holy Lands of Random Militants for his oppressiveness. The Nation is sending 500,000 troops, 25 Apache Helicopters, 56 tanks of various sorts, and an elite sniper unit consisting of 50 soldiers. We also send med supplies and ammuntion. The Nation will also following the cease fire and will engage the Random Militants as soon as the cease fire is lifted.

THE DAILY DAN

Though there is a temporary cease-fire our leaders have ordered a massive build up of troops. As many as 200,000 troops are in the field. Another 500,000 are being called up. 20,000 tanks have been mobilized, and squadrons of jets and bombers. But for now they cannot breach the cease-fire. Now we have time to mourn the loss of an estimated 56,200 servicemen and women as well as our former President.

Maj. Goroney looked out on the 300 feet gained by the advance. one football field. No lives lost he called the advance to a halt after fifiteen minutes of no enemy concat

The Daily Culture: The Colony of Deadly Bacteria has recently caught news of the war between Random Militants and Dan the Merciless, and knowing the strained history between the two nations, the general of the Deadly Bacteria special task force had this to say at a much-anticipated press conference: "I understand there's a war between them guys. Well, it was only a matter of time, and it appears that Random Militants is getting the raw end of the deal. I also understand that Dan the Merciless revolted under Random Militants supposedly 'tyrannical rule.' This whole shenanigan resulted from Random Militants running as UN delegate for the Holy Lands of Random Militants, and plain and simple: Dan the Merciless' first president, may he rest in peace, felt that Random Militants was taking up too much political power and conspiring to oppress the region. He later dropped out of the election, yet Dan the Merciless' president still was not satisfied. He demanded a full-on war against Random Militants, and as it turns out...he got it."

"For Dan the Merciless' rash actions against Random Militants, following the ceasefire, I shall contact Deadly Bacteria's various military generals and organize a full-scale offensive against Dan the Merciless to push these scumbuckets out of Random Militants. That's all for now, thank you for your time." As of now, the general of the special task force has contacted the president of Deadly Bacteria, and he has reportedly touted this proposal as a "worthy cause of full, unbridled brute force."

We have here the statement made by General Dan shortly after Colony of Deadly Bacteria's declaration of war.

"It is with a heavy heart that we must now consider Deadly Bacteria as an enemy. Our two nations have not been in contest with one another. But they have chosen their side. They belive we are nothing more than a back-water rebellious nation. But, this is a war of liberation. The reports that i had a hand in the assasination of President Dan is false. The ture assasins are still unknown. President Dan wanted a peaceful resolution to this conflict. But, with his assasination i had to take power in order to defend our homeland! When the cease-fire is over we and our allies will continue this fight, this transition. fuhrer Charlie will not crush us and our hopes for a free region. If we should fail, then Fuhrer Charlie will have complete control. For we are the only ones who see through Fuhrer charlie and he will try to stamp out all opposition!

The Armed Republic of Geeks with Guns is constantly antagonizing my nation. They should remember that there is a cease-fire!

We have kept in touch with Geeks With Guns, and they claim that an argument does not in any way, shape or form violate a ceasefire.

I would hope so. Geeks with Guns has informed us of a possible peace agreement. It is still to be determined if this is fact, and not propaganda. But, we will remain truthful to the cease-fire. only with the return of Random-Militant's leader will we know for sure his true intentions.

THE DAILY DAN:

It is the first day of the cease-fire and it seems that all guns are silent on the front. As all sides count their losses. 400,000 troops from Theurl have been arriving in our nation over the night. For this we give thanks to Theurl. Funeral services are being held for our dead President. Millions have choked city streets to wait for the funeral service to be held...

Field Reporter: We've just gotten this information. It seems that there are rumors of peace talks! Geeks with Guns has contacted our leader and told him of a planned peace confrence before the war started!

We agree in the cease-fire. All of the Spartanox forces will stand down.

That's all we have for you. It is day two of the cease-fire and there is still little action. Every now and then a few shots ring out, up and down the line. It is still unclear if there will be an everlasting peace after the cease-fire runs out.

If we recieve no word from Random Militants after the cease fire expires, then the war will go on. My orders to all allied generals: After the cease-fire ends, attack, and don't let up the pressure!

As to the fact that the cease fire is soon to be ending, the Random militants war department has seen it as a necessity to revealstatistics on how the war is going for us.

Number of active soldiers on the western front:

Currently, 700,000 of Random militants soldiers are being stationed around or in Charlie is A Douche to retake our 2nd largest city.

The rest of the soldiers are stationed in front of Dan's lines.

More soldiers are arriving every day from Geeks with Guns and Deadly Bacteria. The number is currently approximately 456,000.

A draft has also been brought in to epand our military by a hopeful 750,000

Also, the war department would like to announce that if the cease fire is to be extended, Random Militants would be interested in starting peace talks with Dan the Merciless

I General Dan and the Parliment will agree to a permanent cease-fire under the following terms.

1. All Militant forces must withdraw from our territory and move away from the border.

2. Our country will pay for 75% of damages caused by our military towards Random Militants,

3. Fuhrer Charlie agrees to never invade again. and we will do likewise.

if these agreements are accepted then all of our allies must also agree to the cease-fire.

I, Fuhrer Charlie, agree to all of the terms specified.

And just to clarify:

We did not invade Dan simply for show, but we invaded because Dan was stirring rebellion in our home region, Holy Lands of Random Militants. Furthermore, I would like to state that if no payments are to be made from us to Dan, Dan's status in the region will not be revoked and we will negotiate a program to rebuild the two cities hurt most by this war, Charlie is A Douche, and Dookie Danopolis.

Hopefully pre-war hatred can be set aside and we can rebuild relations between nations in our region.
