Yuuzhan Vong technology is bizarre and perverse, though it is nonetheless effective. The aliens grow their technology organically. All their devices are bioengineered lifeforms, grown and shaped to fit their needs. The Yuuzhan Vong view inorganic technology -- machinery, devices and especially droids -- as an abomination and affront to their gods.
The Yuuzhan Vong glorify pain and love to cause themselves and others pain and would rather die than retreat. They will almost always go out of their way to destroy anything that they think is an affront to their Gods.
Among the devices used by the Yuuzhan Vong are amphistaffs, serpentine whips which can harden into rock-hard staves, or flatten to razor-sharp edges. Also used in combat are thudbugs, small thrown insects that detonate on impact. The Yuuzhan Vong wear vonduun crab armor, a living carapace that protects a warrior in combat that can even temporarily withstand blaster strikes and lightsaber blows.
Yuuzhan Vong starships are also living entities. Built of strong yorik coral, these vessels employ creatures called dovin basals for propulsion and defense. The dovin basals can manipulate gravity, and can project miniature black holes that deflect or absorb incoming enemy fire.

World ship- huge craft, the size of a small planet, employs 2 dovin basals for propulsion and 1 for shielding. Used to reshape planets to Yuuzhan Vong standards by releasing certain plants that will eat away at any non-organic material and grow very fast. Carries 100,000 Coralskippers.

Interdictor- a frigate class Vong ship. Carries 200 Coralskippers. Has 10 plasma cannons. 1 dovin basal.

*Thudbug- A hard hitting bug that explodes on impact, but if it misses it can come around and hit again.
Razorbug- A bug that will cut through anything that it hits (flesh, metal, etc.)
Grutchin- a small bug designed to disable vehicles, when it hits it will latch on and chew through whatever it hits until it reaches the engine, then it will chew though the engine in order to disable the craft.
**when the plasma hits a ship it will cause some immediate damage and will stay where it hit and continue burning through the ship.
