The story is still developing, but here are the nations who are planning to get involved at some stage or another:

If you need to be added tell me. This is actually planned, and is expected to be good. It's wide open, but if you want to get in tell me here, and we'll think of how to get you in. I want good storylines, not the normal cheap way of I.I. where people just decide to enter other nation's internal incidents.

[History of the Second Empire [IC and OOC]]
Well, it's a long story on how the SE came about. I used to be nothing of the sort previous to January '05, however, after the pure OOC debacle between NATO and RWC I decided to re-write my history, after I broke my arm, and didn't show up on NS for two months. Consequently, this is how it went.

Prior to 1905 the First Empire of the Golden Throne had ruled for over three thousand years, but it fell, along with its final emperor - Fastus IV - and the area split into warring states, beginning a hundred year civil war. Jonatan Catalan was a Spanish immigrant to the faction called The Macabees, ruled by a king, and quickly ran up the ranks of the army during the civil war. During the Battle of Soborguntia he proves his superior [a field marshall] wrong in strategy and gets him 'laid off', turning him into the superior commander of the Macabee army turning on the final faction not in Macabee hands - who's name I can't remember at this point. Regardless, that faction offers him their surrender should he turn on his King and take the country for himself. He does so, and boom, he becomes the First Emperor of the Second Empire of the Golden Throne.

After that my history goes on to what I've done on NS post-January '05. Meaning, I've gone to war with Desicive Action and Kahta [who have been deleted], Malgeria [died off after some 500 posts], and some other people. But that's not really important.

[The RP Plot]
Ok, so basically, Weigar, the capital of the last faction to fall to Macabee [or Catalan's power, more specifically], are a bit more revolutionary than Jonach I [Catalan] originally thought, after about fifteen years of peace, I'm going to role play Weigar as beginning to want fracture in the Empire, to start yet another civil war.

So, basically, that's how the role play kicks off. It's going to be gradual as well - a few political overtures, secret police type stuff, beginnings of a formulation of a rebel army, guerilla clashes, more secret police, mass murders, and then, bam, full out civil war.



Here's the outline I have so far, a brief sketch of how I want things to go:

The numbers resemble the respect post I had planned it for. Things might not go that way though, but just use it as a reference point.

I plan to make this last a while. The building up to the actual civil war remains to be completed - and most of that will be done between CR- [his puppet nation] and myself.

Lukily, I'm a senior and only have two more weeks of school - so my homework levels are bareable. Regardless, if you're interested and if you want to join, we could begin planning a creative way to get you involved in this. The destruction of an embassy option has already been chosen by Malatose :p , so that's off limits.

Come to think of it, you're NATO no? Or used to be, or ..meh... allied to NATO nations. Technically, that could give you grounds to help Weigar, once they succeed and yada, yada, yada, and perhaps arm the guerilla army during the building up state of the role play. We still need nations to aid Weigar - or else it's going to get trampled under foot.

maybe one of the kings advisors urges him to require more assistance. Then the king looks on the map, asnd finds a country (East Lithuania) and asks them for help. Would that work?

Come to think of it, you're NATO no? Or used to be, or ..meh... allied to NATO nations. Technically, that could give you grounds to help Weigar, once they succeed and yada, yada, yada, and perhaps arm the guerilla army during the building up state of the role play. We still need nations to aid Weigar - or else it's going to get trampled under foot.

Well, it certainly doesn't say that I belong to NATO in the signature ;) Our policy right now is basically "don't bother us much and we won't bother you", though there are still exceptions due to changing policies, and that we aren't necessarily in full support of everything that NATO does.

If you don't mind, due to my OOC reasons, I think that I could probably make an entrance at the end of or after the preparations for the civil war. I plan to use business interests as one reason to get involved, especially considering the heavy bomber project (BTW, I'll probably get onto IM sometimes during the weekends). We also don't like large-scale, direct involvment unless it's absolutely necessary, so it may be as small as an insertation of a special operation forces advisor team, along with a larger corps-level command (but with all its air and naval assets under the command to) later in the RP if necessary.

With RL matters, I'm not as lucky. I still have a month of schooling in July, and then in August I'll have to prepare for exams in September :(

I don't know, maybe we could say something went wrong with one of the ships and it blew up, and I go to war with you over that. It worked with the US during their Spanish-American War.

Alright, that's cool enough. I'll keep up an outline on the first post, on this thread, of the events that take place, so that if you ever need to catch up to make your entrance, you can do so easily.

Well, both of you seem pretty anti-genocide, anti-crazy dictators in general. There will be an 'ethnic' genocide - or more like, a political genocide. You can't make a Gestapo [and soon an SS] without some genocide, now can you? Hehe, I'm not national socialist - my in character self [and my out of character] is more Falangist, than rascist. I guess, you could say, that the Empire styles itself politically after the Third Reich, as well as economically, however, we do not hold the same rascist views. In fact, all that we do is rather Machiavellian. We do it, because we have to, and we're open about it.

So, in short, there will be a genocide. I'll make it so escapes to the public. And bam, you can make your entrance.

So how should I tie myself in? Should I act like i've always been around, or introduce myself in my own thread and develop my nation slowly?

I would like to be involved in this if i may. Reason: I have been a staunch supporter of Jonach I for a while and the terrorists can be mad at my attempts to heal the fissures created and bomb my embassy or such.

Don't know how my nieghbor could have a civil war without me. Count me in.

Riptide: I would just ask as if you've always existed in the area next to me. Or, you can expand on the story of the Blight, which is what I used to call the disputed area to my East. It is to say, you can say that the nomadic and tribal societies of the area finally was able to put together a centralized government - in response, my nation tries to expand it's influence in the region, giving you a perfect reason to take part in my civil war.

But, I guess we could talk about this a bit more.
