The sorry excuse for a city was totally asleep, mainly because there were precious few electrical lights and not much could be done in the dark. Another collection of cheap mud huts to be blown away. Imperialism was either fun, or a complete bitch, depending on your point of view towards cutting people down with heavy weapons.

Fleet Admiral Rebecca Zheng was one of the people that thought it was fun to cut people down with heavy weapons. The young admiral smiled at the upcoming carnage. Carnage was a beautiful thing anyway, it was to be savored, enjoyed.

6 Harpy Class arsenal ships started hammering the shoreline with heavy cruise missiles, just as an entire army group, housed in 250 transports, began to release thousands upon thousands of landing craft....

Beauty was to be had....

(OOC: I know you haven't completed your conquest yet, but my government recognizes them as your territory anyway.)

Troops rushed ashore under minimal to no fire. The joke was that the Somali troops had run out of candles, so they just gave up.

There wasn't really much to do except to land and create a salient with enough room to set up shop.

Troops began to secure a perimeter with heavy tanks, airplanes and artillery, while other troops began to set up command headquaters, communcations posts, supply dumps and barracks.

Moving quickly, Pwnage forces destroyed partisan and warlord forces in quick and bloody succession, one after the other, blazing a quick path to the Ethiopian border.

On the way, Pwnage forces freed the Somali from the hated warlords and threw out food and medicine freely, endearing many of the people to MassPwnage's forces.

Meanwhile, another contingent went south, fighting their way to Mogadishu, assisted by the fleet with artillery support...
