OOC: This is just basicly a fancy way of celebrating my reaching "Frightening" economy status. :p

IC: The Government of THL is throwing a massive nation-wide celebration. Why? because of our recent Economic boom. When THL first came onto the world stage, we did not have, to put it lightly, a very good economy at all.

But within a matter of the few short decades of our existence, we've been blessed with a supreme economic boom with out becoming a totalitarian Corporate Police State like so many others. Our people enjoy extensive civil rights and political freedoms to this day.

With unemployment at an all time low, with inflation being the same low. So that is the reason of our celebration world. Because we are becoming one of the richest nations in our region, and perhaps one day, one of the richest in the world.

We're still going to build those nukes.

Around Noitan Teppup, various corperate leaders and government officials celebrated the upgraded UN ranking granted to Tree Hugging Lesbians, the protectorate they had been investing in for a fair bit of time now. The fact the nations economy was getting better and better seemed to be down to both good decisions on the Queen's part as well as foriegn investment from Noitan Teppup and other supporting nations.

The advantage of Noitan Teppup pumping resources into this protectorate was quite simple for them really, by improving their allies economy they would be able to make the money back in trade and contracts out to them; trade was very mutually beneficial for both governments.
