Since nobody seems to be having any open/MT/non-newb wars right now, I figure I need to start my own.
Im looking for a good-sized nation to invade me, or be invaded, or something. No wargames or retconning or whatever, just a good 'ol fashioned fight.
The upside (for the invaders) is that they get a bunch of handy Goblin slaves, the downside is (naturally) that they have a bunch of very angry Goblin resistance fighters.
Initial victory is basicaly a givin for a moderatly well equipped invader, since my conventional military consists of 70's era technology. I imagine there would be a short battle where the uber-modern MBT's of the invader run over my T-72's, and G-series tanks in a matter of seconds.
The FUN bit is the occupation, where in a manner similar to that of France, the Goblins show their true fighting ability.
The underhanded, backstabbing, nasty kind :)
This might result in a long, drawn out occupation lasting multiple threads, or even going on for a very long time (multi RL-week, maybe.).
Naturaly other nations are allowed to join.
I would prefer if the invaders were human, possibly somebody from that anti-non human alliance that popped up a while ago :D

It wouldnt care, because it would be occupied by shooting at the plane :P

I doubt I could figure out a believable cause for invasion by Malkyer (given that ICly most Malkyeri citizens have never heard of BMG), so I'd be more than willing to aid the Goblin resistance (i.e. supplies, better weapons, maybe some special forces, et cetera).

I'd be up to this sort of thing. Problem is, it's late RL time for me. I"ll come back here in...say 8 hours. Get back to you on this.

Oh, and..how modern tech? I've got some post-modern stuff, can we talk on if I can use it?

Actually, I'll just ask now. I've got an advance version of a battleship/carrier and an advance battleship/sub. Would these two ships be allowed in such an MT war? They're my only advance weapons.

And if it helps at all, I'd be willing to try to invade you. If you don't mind, of course. Now, I'm going off.
