Ambassador class receives face lift

Star fleet command today has declared that ambassador class star ships , that have been serving in Starfleet for more than 60 + years will receive a major facelift and refit, these ships have been upgraded during that time but those were only slight upgrades to weapon systems shields engines ect, this new refit will almost equal that of the constitution class refit project. Done over 300 years ago

The Imperium is glad to see that its neighbours are not slacking when it comes to modifiying the old and decrepit; the defunct, so to speak, and replacing it with something shiny and new. We can only congratulate them on once again showcasing their military muscle.
It is always good to know what ones neighbours are planning; makes life all the more interesting.
