IRON FISH NEWS UPDATE~!

"The final piece of Frontier, the Iron Fish's first orbital space station, was this evening installed.

The Station itself it currently unmanned, aside from two technicians who have been putting the jigsaw together. The two will return to Earth early tomorrow morning and then on Thursday a shuttle with four men will launch.

The four astronauts will be lead by General Dias, an accomplished space traveller with sixteen missions under his belt. He will have overall control of the station. Along with him will be Gloria Samford, a multi-award winning scientist, Julian Saark, an astronomer, and a third as yet unnamed man.

Once aboard the station the four will begin carrying out their duties immediately.

General Dias, along with running the station, will also be overseeing all military activity on the station. He will have a state-of-the-art system available to him, and will also be overseeing the completion of a satellite relay.

Samford will begin work in her brand new science laboratory, carrying out analysis of various things that will be extracted from around the space station.

And, not surprisingly, Saark will be watching the stars.

A spokesperson for the IFSEP had this to say…

‘The completion of this station is a monumental leap forward for The Iron Fish. Its affect on the future of our great nation cannot be underestimated.’

Meanwhile, rumours are abounding that The Emperor himself will be attending a gala set to take place aboard the station sometime in the near future. This would be unprecedented as The Emperor always sends The Undersecretary to any functions.

We will, of course, be here bringing you up-to-date coverage on the official opening of the station. So please, stay tuned…”
