I Walked Among Giants.

OOC: Good evening. I would like to take this solemn moment, to announce my departure from the golden shore that is NationStates. Understand, friends and allies, ladies, and gentlemen unknown to me, that my leaving has NOTHING to do with you, for I am thankful for you. I realize now, as I write this, that, to quote a wise man, “I walked among Giants,” and I was blind to it. I was blind to the extreme power of many nations, like Unified Sith, in the Future Tech realm, Roach-Busters, and many others in the Modern Tech era, or everyone else who has ever clicked a button for this wonderful game. For, though I realize that Max Barry is the creator of this game, it is you, the player that makes it great. I have seen the terrors, the joy, and the anger of the human mind in this game, and it has made me feel wonderful. I have read the adventures of Daniel Masaki, or the exploits of DA, who is sadly, no more. I have felt the terror of nations as another bombarded their shores, and I have seen the victorious march upon foreign soil that is now their own. But I have not only seen violence in my times here; I remember the stores of the great. Preatonia, Langola, Roman Republic, and many, many, more who worked tirelessly to supply the needs of the hordes. I remember the diplomacy, the kindness that nations and their owners displayed in the hopes of bringing peace to their war-torn shores. I have walked in the shadows of lesser known, yet still great giants, such as Riegab, or Buben, or Rammsteinburg, who I am as grateful as I possibly can be. If any of you, or any other nation that has ever been in my wonderful region, is reading this, I thank you, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you for giving me some of the most glorious times I have ever had. I remember the days of Nurakai, The Fall3n, and Primate Boy Wonder, all who are gone, as I soon will be as well, from NS. And I remember the beginning of this ending, my reason for playing NationStates, and founding the region that would go on to become greater than I could have ever imagined. And that makes this all the more difficult. To my regionmates, I do hope that you will keep The Dominion alive without me, I believe you can do it, you are some of the best people I’ve never met. To the NS community in general, I will be glad to remember my days on NS, which you made memorable. Know that I leave because I am tired of it, not because of you. And, now, I can truly say, of all of you, that “I walked among Giants.”

I, for one, am glad to have been able to RP with you on several occasions, Zanziik. Wherever you're headed, I wish you luck.

This is indeed a shocker, but alas it was fun while it lasted...

Good luck to you in your future endeavors :)

This is indeed truly sad, and it was great while it lasted, I remember all the way back to the beginning and I assure you, we'll get back there, you can trust us, Rammsteinburg, Buben and I. And, I wish you luck.

And this ironic, I just happend to notice that this is my 100th post, don't ask me why I think it's ironic, but I just do...
