Does anyone want to have a war (or wargame)? Not a huge war where no one can even remember who's on whose team (FC comes to mind), but how about a 3 on 3/2 on 2 or something?

Sounds good, and I would be in, if I wasn't a little busy in RL...maybe some other time eh?

We could always create some random spot of land that has something of value and kill each other over that.

OOC: Concador, I'm totally new to all of this, but if you're willing to show me the ropes, I'd be more than willing to prosecute a war with you.

Hyst has been building up a decent sized armed forces, a war game would be a good way to establish myself

Will there be a map or something? Also, what size do you want this war to be? Finally, what tech level are you looking for? I play as MT+1, but even if there are some future-tech nations involved, a cross-tech war could be interesting.

Real intersesing

Well, I'm an FT nation, and the two major RPs I've been involved with were both MT. It's a matter of not godmodding and realizing that SAMs and such can take out TIEs or X-Wings or whatever FT fighter people use now.

Hey, I'm FT. I may not join this, but that example wasn't really fair. Only a really noob Ft nation would do that. If I were fighting, I'd give you a chance to at least take something down.

Same with me. When I was RPing my Earth 13.75 invasion of Alaska (before I was kicked out) I let the opposing soldiers kill a good number of my Sagetroopers (the elitest soldier in Tannenmille, raised from birth to kill and genetically enhanced to make food through photosynthesis instead of eating) which would be quite a feat for an MT nation. It's all about quality RPing.

As Kyanges said, he may not join, and I'm definitely not going to. We're just pointing out that MT can defeat PMT and FT, pottymouth.

Works for me. If you've made a map, great. You can get a (free) account at www.photobucket.com and upload it there, and then just post a link to the image. If you don't want to do that, maybe one of us will be nice enough to host it on our own accounts.

@Bored group:For the RP, I'd recomend the implimentation of a troop limit of about 100-200K troops. Thats enough for 1-2fleets plus generous amounts of infintry. This would level the playing field some. True the larger nations would have the better ships and equipent, but it would allow for a more interesting roleplay

Is it alright if we have fictional units? For instance, most vehicles in my military are modern tech, based on equivalents in the U.S. military, give or take. It would be fairly easy for me to use existing tech if that's the plan.

If it's MT, you can use it.
