Today the Emperor of ITD announced possible plans to invade and occupy the northern section of Mexico known as Sonora. Military forces have already established close enough staging points on the pacific coasts of Mexican territory already occupied by ITD.

"The Imperial Council voted unanimously in support of my plans to invade and occupy the territory. I expect there to be light resistance or possibly no resistance at all. After all, resistance only leads to their own demise." smirked the Emperor.

The Holy Republic of Ten Tails extends warm and cordial salutations to the Great Empire of Itinerate Tree Dweller and its most noble and righteous Emperor. The Council of Vulpes, the supreme temporal and spirtual authority of our humble nation, has followed your military endeavors with interest and enthusiasm. However, The Council has a concern -- one that I hope your nation's representatives may be so kind as to address.

As you know, there exists in the Sonoran Desert a pristine and vulnerable population of both grey and fennec foxes. The fox is an animal of both political --for it is a protected species within our borders-- and religious significance to our government and people.

The Council of Vulpes, then, on the behalf of the people of our republic, and in the name of living decency, humbly requests that in your conquest of Sonora, you please afford these animals the protection and honor that they deserve.
