A piece that the fledging Hyst Munitions has been developing.

UX-3 ultralightweight rifle

The initial was formulated when Alliant Techsystems Co announced the XM8. In order to vie for similar contracts abroad, Hyst has been developing a compeating lightweight rifle. Though the firing rate is much less then its american counterpart, the rifle sports a greater range and almost half the weight unloaded. The UX-3 utalizes some of the most advansed composite materials and minatureized avaible as well as sporting the full length carrying handle (similar to the GIAT FAMAS). Though overheating was a major problem in early models, the UX-3 has worked many of those problems out by redusing the firing rate to the current 600rds/min. Another potential limitation of the UX-3 is the current price of composte materials, unless the effencency of production of such material is reduced, this could be a severe limitation of the UX-3

UX-3
Caliber: 5.56X45mm (7.62x51mm avaible in the UX-3b format)
Action: Gas Powered, Roller-lock action
Length: 816mm
Barrel Length: 385mm basic(379mm UX-3b), 215mm carbine (209mm
UX-3b), 483mm LMG (476mm UX-3b)
Weight: 1.4kg empty
Rounds/Min: 600
Mag: 30rounds std., 100round drum for LMG
Price:1050USD

Verghastinsel Armaments manufactures high-quality products at comparatively low prices. VA has a large selection of small arms, armoured and unarmoured vehicles, and several aircraft. Almost all of VA's products are in service, or have served with a military/paramilitary unit at some time. Our products are available in company and battalion-size packages, for easy mass-equipping (Uniforms not included).

OOC: Link is in my sig, it would be nice if you bought something, but you might not. Have a look at the least, eh?

I'd recomend looking at Portland Iron works (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=404832&page=10&pp=15) or Imperial Preatonian Shipyards (http://forums2.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=400550) for ships, Strategic Arms Inc (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=413137&page=1&pp=15) for general viecles and emplacements, and phoenix Dynamix (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=8969610#post8969610) or Roman Republican (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=412411) for aircraft.
