The Slivers of Warhaven declare War against the Slivers of Mini Miehm. (Closed)

OOC: This is closed just so y'all know. It's only me, VERSUS Mini Miehm. I know he's irratated a lot of you, and I understand some of you would like a little ritrbution, but not this time. By all rights though, Tag this and Read it. This War doesn't count though, as its in an alternet diminsion/timeline/STC. So, None of this actually counts. We have agreed to this War before hand.

IC:Beamed directly to you by Warhaven Farveiwing Industries Incorporated, its the long anticipated often fantasized Warhaven VS. Mini Miehm War.
Our camera's have become intangebile and will be filming the action on BOTH SIDES of the War. In our studios we have War commentator Roy Brannin, AKA The Bard. Joining us shortly will be a commentator for Mini Miehn, from Mini Mehn. Lets go to the action, and our feild reporter Scary Larry.
"Hey y'all, just want you to know, I'm going to be on both sides, bringing you the action, lets do the right thing here."

The Slivers of Warhaven were frolicing in the Fields on Riptide. It was their favorite activity. The Queen was resting peacefully, all was calm.
Warfare, God of the Slivers appeared.
"Queen Sliver, awaken. It is time to go to War. The Slivers that you let go to find their own way, found a new Queen, and they have been spreading havoc and threatening a great many. Destroy them, destroy them all." Warfare said. He disappeared.

It was a known fact that the Warhaven Hive was far older, much bigger, than the Miehn Hive. The Slivers of Warhaven made up 3/4ths of the population, with the remaining 1/4th belonging to the followers of Warfare.

The Queen called a great council of the SLivers. The Hive thought it out, and agreed with Warfare. They would teach the younger Hive a lesson in manners, no warning would be given. As one, The Warhaven Hive flew out and away from Warhaven. The Ships were left behind. Warhavenm slivers were partially magical in nature. This explains how come they took off through space at Warp 10 under their own wing power, and yet did not die or suffer any ill effects. They arrived at their destionation in due time. the Reactors rested, and the Hive simply waited, waited for the Queens order to attack, to destroy them all if they didn't get a surrender. The Reactors rebuilt their energy in short order. The Queen let out a silent hiss in space, and gave the order to attack. The Hive decended from the sky like a bomb. And landed at the Northren edge of Mini Miehn Territory. The SLivers set to destroying anything and everything in sight...

"Well Scary, it looks like the Warhaven Slivers are determined to destroy Mini Miehn and give no Quater." Roy said.

"Yes sir, but I think they'll give the option of surrender." Scary said.

OOC:sorry I was busy getting my license, now I'm back.

IC:

We are the commentator of Mini Miehm, The Brain(not the mouse, an actual brain), we will be giving reasonable and reasoned commentary on this battle, let it begin.

The slivers of Miehm were working on expanding the hive, as this was the task that their queen had set before them. The queen was in her chamber, in labor, as per SOP. The overlord was overseeing an incursion of rabid sheep led by an infernal spawn of evil(OOC:it's coming...), the overlord was bored to tears, the queen was just plain bored, and the rest of the hive did not really give a damn, well that was about to change.

The slivers of Warhaven were making their way south. Complete destruction was behind them. Then they saw it, The Sliver Hive. With a great hiss, Large numbers of Colorless slivers rushed the Hive, set to attack.

"A surprise attack, Roy, That's just not right." Scary said.
"Hey, it is a good battle tactic though, take your enemy by surprise, gain an advantage. Its all pretty much cut and dried." Roy said.

OOC: there's not much to destruction in mini miehm, it's a barren waste, everything's subterranean.

IC:

The Hive-Tower found the enemy slivers hard to miss, what with them being a rather large swarm of reptillian critters on a barren wasteland with almost no cover. The 10,000 slivers normally stationed to defend the tower reacted by alerting the rest of the hive, and then pouring forth to delay the attackers while a larger force moved to defend the gateway.

The 10,000 were composed of nearly 5,000 muscle slivers, with the other 5,000 devided by fourths between mindwhip, clot, flame, and acidic slivers, they would smash into the enemy and hopefully delay them long enough.

The Bladeed slivers let out a frightful hiss. Reactor slivers got drained as the slivers used the Blade Sliver second level ability, Phaser, and shot Phaser Beams at the Miehn Slivers. The Plated slivers activated their secondary abilities, and covered the Warhaven swarm with Metal sheilding. The Warhaven Muscle slivers speed the Warhaven hive up accordingly. The Queen Sliver of Warhaven was at the rear of the group.

The Queen Sliver of Warhaven was at the rear of the group.

The beams from the enemy slivers cut down some of the muscle slivers, but their accuracy left much to be desired, they only managed to kill 1,000, although they wounded three times that number, the wounded slivers were already starting to heal under the effect of the clot slivers healing power.

The slivers had finally reached the range of their flames, 100 yards, as one the leading ranks belched flame, the fluid coiling from their beaks like the whips of an avenging god, scourging towards their enemies to strike down those who would oppose their queen.

The forces of the overlord, numbering 1 million after they had dealt with the flock of rabid sheep, had recieved word from the queen to return overland and drive into the rear of their enemy, sandwiching them between the hive and the overlord, the enemy would be smashed.

This is The Brain saying that this first attack would almost seem to be a forlorn hope, just a spoiling attempt to delay the enemy, and the forces of the overlord that the queen called in may just be the turning point of this battle, if he arrives in time he may just save the hive, if he's early he might be enough to force the enemy to retreat...

The ward slivers concentrated, and made Warhaven Slivers immune to the Fire sLivers power. But not before 756 slivers were consumed by the fire. The Queen slithered to the center of her Slivers.

The reactor SLivers swithched modes, and began causing explosens among the enemy Slivers. The Elemental Slivers of Earth began hissing in a strange manner. They began to glow.

The Elemental SLivers of Air cast a levitation spell on Warhaven SLivers. The Earth Slivers completed their spell. The Ground Began to shake and tremble. the earth Slivers had cast an Earthquake spell upon the Ground itself, an 8.0 Earthquake.

"Going the path of Magic, now that's quite a road. I understand the Elemental Magic slivers trained under Both the Warhaven Archwizards, ancient wise masters of the craft, and The Kaymirillian Elite Mages, Fearsome Mages no sane person would cross. What's going to happen?" Roy asked The Brain.

The crystaline slivers of the hive were still close enough to provide the horde protection from the nuclear attacks of the reactor slivers, although another thousand died from the blasts. The muscle slivers were closing the gap between them and the enemy, they were past the worst effects of the quake, although some of the support units were still in the zone of destruction, 300 assorted support troops fell and were trampled by the rest of the follow on units.

The muscle slivers were now only twenty yards from the enemy, soon the remaining defenders of the gate would be in among their attackers and would wreak horrible vengeance for their fallen brothers.

Well Roy, my bet is that the magic won't have much effect because of the crystaline slivers deadening their power when they target Miehms troops, that earthquake though, that could cause some trouble, since the slivers aren't the target the crystaline's ability doesn't come into effect for that.

The Earth Slivers switched to a new attack. They created a great ball of rock. The Elemental Fire SLivers heated it to a Lava state. The Water Slivers Fast cooled it. It was on the verge of breaking. The Synapse slivers hurled it into the middle of the oncoming slivers. It hit the ground or a Sliver, and shattered into a great miany pieces, with sharp jagged rocks flying everywhere.

OOC: Kaymiril' suggestion.

The first muscle sliver in the rank reacted swiftly, lashing out with his talon to throw it away from the lines and back towards the enemy, unfortunately when the talon hit it the ball shattered, although his hit had changed it's momentum back towards the enemy he and 700 others were all struck down by the shards that were directed towards their lines.

Well Roy, it seems that some of that magic is about to backfire, that ball's gonna have alot of shards going back towards the Warhaven slivers, and they won't get any protection by ward slvers from this attack. This is shaping up to be a pretty impressive first move for the young queen of Mini Miehm.

The rock hit the Slivers Metal skin. Metal, thanks to the plated slivers. Still, weak points were found, and two hundred died on the spot. The 756 slivers that died from the first attack began to vaporize into AEther. All slivers were naturally immune to the AEther, so this was pointless, but a fact all the same.

The Capitol slivers took to the air. With a great white glow the grew to Full size, 15 KM in diameter, 30 KM in length. They set down among the Miehn slivers, and proceeded to attack with their great talons. Their Acid abilities adding extra weight to the attack. Their Toxin sliver abilities added poison.

They set down among the Miehn slivers, and proceeded to attack with their great talons. Their Acid abilities adding extra weight to the attack. Their Toxin sliver abilities added poison.

The rear ranks of the swarm had yet to engage with any of their abilities, so instead of using their flame coils they let loose with their spines(OOC: acidic spines, an acidic sliver ability, I've got it all written down if you want a list of my slivers and what they can do, my old list is a bit out of date) at the massive targets above them, as one being nearly 5000 slivers blasted six spines into the air in under three seconds(5000 times six equals 30,000 for the lazy among our readers), then the enemy landed, crushing thirty troops upon their arrival. The flailing talons of the enemy would be their own undoing, each sliver they killed bled on them, as the blood came into contact with the acidic slivers chemical cloud it converted into a powerful acid, eating into the metallic flesh of the massive slivers in their midst.

The overlord was 2 and a half hours away from the battle but he could already see the massive dust cloud being put up by the fighting outside the gateway of the hive, he redoubled his pace, knowing that his forces could very well spell the difference between victory and defeat.

The queens forces were assembled and defending the gate, even if the first line fell, which they eventually would, their would be forces to stop them.

The metallic slivers stirred, massive automatons controlled by the queen, they were much larger than Rathi metallic slivers, being nearly as large as a WW2 stratofortress, and armed with a single 30mm chain gun and, occasionally, a single living missile or hibernation cluster bomb, this time they were armed with the cluster bombs, each bomb was filled with 29 hibernating drones and 1 acidic sliver, that way even if the drones were butchered befoere they hit ground they would be able to rain acidic death upon their foes. The metallic slivers rolled from their aeries and took off into the wild blue yonder, their mission being to drop a world of hurt on the onrushing horde.

Well Roy, it looks like the young queen has a bit of a trump card in store for the attackers doesn't it?

OOC: not too worried, Her majesties mardukan sepoys may make an appearance if you're bringing in Warfares followers(ask Theao what I mean, he'll probably be better able to explain it than I am), all three hundred thousand, four armed, civan riding, heavily muscled, extremely large(over two meters tall, most are closer to three meters tall), very attitudinal, well armed, extremely loyal, nearly fanatical, soldiers, all of them are vasin, civan riding cavalry, they are almost all quad-dextrous, all are at least ambi-dextrous, you see where this is going? And I'll even bring in Bravo of Bronze if I have to, beware the bronze barbarians(Theao, same name, different roster, although they're all effectively equivalent to rogers bodyguards, complete with arrogant prince.)

The SLivers of Warhaven began praying to The God Sliver, to Warfare. Far away, an ancient being stirred, his children were fighting each other, this was unacceptable. He must stop them, he must stop them both.

The followers of Warfare all got the same message at the same time, it was not a word, more of a feeling, the mounted, and took off.

Half of the warhaven hive wasn't even fighting yet. The Elemental slivers all gathered around, it was time to summon the storm. The Elemental storm. It was a terrible thing. No one could completly defend against it, not even the Gods themselves. Dark clouds began to boil over Mini Miehn.

The Capitol slivers felt the poison and acid working into their bodies. The Ward slivers were working hard to immunize them against both effects. five of the 30 Capitol slivers were down.

The Winged slivers and the space slivers took to the air. The Acid slivers coming with them. To the Metalic slivers they flew. Acid was flowing freely. They would destroy they Metalic Slivers.

The Queen decided enough was enough. She burrowed under ground, following the call of the enemy Queen. She would find them, and they would fight each other.

The Overlord slivers took the half that wasn't fighting, and turned to go face the opposing overlord slivers army.

"Well brain, their summoning an Elemental storm. I know the crystaline slivers are good at defending against magic, but not even they can completly defend against such a storm. An elemental storm you see, is comprised of every element. It has no friends, no allies, no feelings. If they do summon the storm, both sides will be hit." Roy said.

Well Roy, I think the downside for Warhaven will be a good bit higher than it will be for Miehm, since most of Miehms forces are underground they won't suffer as many affects of the storm as the exposed slivers of Warhaven, and the troops that are exposed will at least have some cover from the storm due to the crystalline slivers, so two or three slivers fom Miehm might survive in the open.

The Metallic slivers opened fire with their heavy chain guns, they were designed along the lines of the human A-10 warthog cannon, with the caveat that they must be able to engage air and ground targets, not just ground targets like the warthog. Their target was now rather obvious, the swarm of elemental slivers looked like it deserved a bit of attention from some heavy weapons, the cluster bombs they carried should bve just what the doctor ordered.

The overlords troops were closing in on the conflict, and the conflict seemed to be closing in on them, half of the enemy hive had turned to engage them, oh well, they were still out of range for any weapons, and they would stay that way for a good fifteen minutes more, but after that fifteen minutes had passed the superior range of their guns would allow them to decimate the enemy ranks before they closed to melee and got down to the real slaughter.

The enemy queen had made a grevious error, she was burrowing directly towards the hive cavern, still populated by over ten million slivers, the hive cavern was the only route into the queens chamber, the stone around the chamber was solid granite and obsidian, it would be almost impossible to dig through without being heard, and if she entered the hive she would be immediately pounced upon by the aforementioned ten million very angry slivers.

Her majesty the queen had allies to call in, favors that were owed her, it was time to collect on that debt, the leaders of the Vasin would send her forces to stop these agressors,(OOC: I have another nation named the vasin, the troops come from a favor the queen did them a while back, before she took control of the hive, the favor was big enough to earn three hundred thousand heavy cavalry, you're gonna enjoy what the mardukans do with some of their weapons), the last Baron of fallen Voitan owed her much for returning his home to him, he would send forces, Sheffan and Therdan owed her favors as well, together the forces would number three hundred thousand, their rifles and revolvers should have no issue punching through the slivers armor, and if that was no enough her friend Baron Chang was bringing his allies among the Shin tribesmen of Mudh Hemh vale, the slivers of warhaven would regret their actions this day.

The rear ranks finally let loose with their flame now that the ward slivers were trying to stop their poison and acid, they would at least be able to damage some more of their enemies with the fire, and maybe the distraction would last long enough for the surprise to spring...

SIC:

Beneath the capitol slivers 1000 of the support troops from inside the hive had been burrowing towards the enemy positions, now the queen decided they would be better used to dig through the bodies of the capitol slivers, these support troops were blade and talon slivers, backed by plate and armor slivers, if they could not breach the capitol slivers thick hides nothing would be able to.

The skies were boiling with thick black storm clouds. The light of the sun was blotted out. The ground began shaking and thunder and lightning came from everywhere. Slivers and machines alike along with debrese and anything not held down to the ground by something strong rose in the air as gravity stopped functioniung properly. Fire rained from the Earth and Rain fell from the sky. Terrible winds blew in from every direction. Great meteors swarmed, and gravity wells formed, crushing anything and everything that got trapped within. Those underground where not safe either, as the ground beneath shot radioactive fire. The Queen of Warhaven was killed instantly, as well as 300,000,000 of her slivers. The entire storm moved underground and raged for well over 15 minuets, and disapated. The elemental slivers were all dead, having sacrificed their lives to summoning the storm of the elements.

The followers of Warfare appeared out of a Wormhole. They stopped, and had a moment of silence for such a tragic action. Then they looked, for the enemy, waiting, waiting for the dust to settle.

OOC: the realistic post now.

IC:

The queen was slain, her retainers crushed and her servants exploded, the queen lived on(OOC: I established this in another thread, I bred and hibernated a full dozen queens, they awake as the queen before them dies, we're on queen ten right now, the other nine died in the storm, ten wasn't in the solar system, neither are 11 and 12, I plan ahead), unfortunately the queen was about thirty lightyears from the rest of the hive, all three of them, and the ten slivers that had survived with the overlord.

Timmy counters the worldslayer by using the abilities of the blind seer and Karn: silver golem, along with the ability of the lawbringer to remove it from the game. Timmy then summons the lurgoyf and the five original elder dragon legends, followed by erase, which removes the first darksteel forge from the game, Timmy destroys the second forge by using a voltaic key to untap Karn, then using Karns ability again, along with the enchantment binding grasp to gain control of the second forge, Timmy then sacrifices it, along with the seer, Karn, and the lurgoyf to play the Phyrexian Dreadnought.

"Charge" he roared. The Paladins snapped up their lances, and gave an epic charge into battle. The monks followed along behind, and the druids and rangers satayed with the Archwizards.

OOC: didn't you see my serious post, I have 13 slivers left, a queen and a crippled overlord out of my whole nation. The queen I have isn't even in this solar system, being hidden away nearly thirty lightyears from the sol system.

Civan are like velociraptors, only about the size of an allosaurus, the pagathars are like triceratops, only the size of elephants, and armored against the teeth of the Atul, Atul-grack, and the killerpillars.

IC:

The vasin were unsettled to see the dead rise, but they had seen stranger things, no they hadn't, oh well, they would still blow up if you hit them with a bullet(the bullets of the mardukans revolvers are approximatels .60 cal, their carbines are approximately .80 cal, they're big bullets) in the right spot.

The civan cavalry dressed their ranks and dropped their lances into place, they charged. The civan thundered towards the enemy, outnumbered but not outgunned.

In the rear of the force there were a legion of pagathars, massive beasts, armored and armed like war machines, they had the attitude of a bull hippo and the IQ of a really stupid fly, not a good combination, that is why when their mahouts began to order them around the ranks of civan cavalry they complied quickly, the pagathar knew that they would get to kill things if they complied, when they were in position the mahouts let them charge at the enemy, they couldn't have stopped them so they simply prepared to deal with the enemies who would try to get in close and kill the riders, to deal with them they had heavy, primitive magazine fed pump-action guns, they fired either solid shot of nearly 1 inch across, or shells with twelve pellets the size of a .45 caliber slug, they were big guns, they were very good marks men, itr was time to make some kills.

The commander of the forces of Sheffan was the cousin of the commander of Therdans contingent, he also had a thing for human sayings, which explains why, as they charged into battle, he roarde at the top of his lungs(and they're very large lungs) "ARISE CIVAN BROTHERS, FELL DEEDS AWAIT, ON TO WRATH, ON TO RUIN, AND A RED DAWN!!!!!

The Followers of Warfare crashed into the opposing ranks, lances snapped and horses reared in fear. Starfire, Rahegalhoff's Alicorn took to her wings, and flew to safety after Rahegalhoff jumped off. The Monks came up next. The Monks of the temples of strength, channeled their Ki into their muscles. Their strength grew exponentially. They punched and kicked with the force of a grenade. The temple of the Mage Fist channeled their Ki into their fists. Thier fists either burned with fire, or crackled with lightning, and the Grand abbot channeled an Ultima*spell into his Fists, and began punching left and right. The Temple of the self reliant darted here and there, wounds closing almost as fast as they opened, due to their regenerative abilities. Their punches drained the energy out of whomever they hit.

The Wizards decided to charge for an Ultima spell and finish everything off. But that would take awhile.

Warfare was closing in fast. He changed to his Omni-Sliver Form. He must stop all this fighting.

OOC: * Ultima is the magical equivalent of a Nuke, without the Radioactive effects. It is very powerful and makes an elemental storm look like a passing cloud. The Grand Abbott alone can channel this spell into his fists and use it as a weapon due to all the years it takes to lean such a feat. The vasin crashed int the opposing ranks, their strong steel breastplates turning aside most of the lances, although there were of course casualties, they were minimal, only 500were killed, with almost none wounded, since their lances were mired in flesh most of the vasin dropped them, the commander of Therdans contingent drew four of his revolvers(he has 24, six sets of four, for his four arms) and fired into the nearest enemies, the commander was one of those few mardukans who was truly quad-dextrous, capable of using both sets of arms for different tasks at the same time, he was also a dead shot, he would reap through the enemy like a scythe through barley-rice(the mardukan equivalent of grain).

The Shin tribesmen under Baron Chang, and his military advisor, Captain Sergei, were stumbling through the rubble of the devestated hive tower, they had avoided the storm and had just recently reached the area where the combat was occuring, the fire-slingers came to the fore, wielding slings of nearly unburnable Atul hide, they loades their slings, then the priests of the fire god began their chant, lighting the bullets in the spinning slings, the slingers charged towards the swarming undead and released their slings when they got into range.

The Baron and the Captain were better armed than most, the Baron bore a blade of Voitan water-steel, while the Captain bore a flame-blade of Shin make, they alone would be a greater threat to the undead than their troops altogether. The Barons pagathar was ridden by him, his companion, an asi-bonded "slave" more like a really good bodyguard and mentor, and the Barons pet, it was a large red and black striped lizard that weighed nearly 90 kilograms, it was a massive beast of its species, it had ripping claws and razor sharp teeth and was unfailingly loyal to the being she percieved as her God, the Baron called her Dogzard for a good reason...

The monks were in among the vasin, but the vasin were also in among the monks, a few had already shot off all of their revolvers(normal troops only have 4) and were wielding their blades of voitan steel with unmatched skill and deadliness, the enemy could not long stand against those who had shatterd the Boman, and the men who had shattered the Kranolta were no slouches either.

The pagathars had finally reached the enemy lines and thundered in among them like avatars of destruction, crushing anything before them and not even noticing the few lances that pricked their thick hide(it takes a well swung, and very large, axe to really hurt a pagathar other than a flesh wound.), the lances they did notice only served to enrage them further, they let loose a bugle, sounding like a sick elephant, and began using their horns against those who had injured them.

The Water wizards work in concert with the sky wizards and bring about a raging blizzard, centered upon the broken tower.

The battle continues with the followers. Swords and other weapons get taken out, and used. Aiming for appearant chinks in armor, the followers thrust with all their might. The monks continue to punch and kick with all their might.

500 down thus far.

The Druids all change into Dire Oliphants (From Lord of the Rings.)
The Rangers hop on and ride them, Sniper Rifles aimed at the enemy.
Normally, Rangers shoot arrows, however, Tharivol, one of the leaders, learned how to shoot guns from Commander Konig of Snake Eaters. He brought the knowledge back to the rangers, and they switched to various rifles. Currently, they hid sniper rifles out, and were aiming for the heads of the enemies. Carefully they aimed, their skill was great, having practiced daily, and took their shots. After that, the Druids in Dire Oliphant form charged at full speed, steping on anything in their path.

Ultima was almost ready. From out of the clouds and the sky above, decended the Omni-sliver. Warfare had arrived. He surveyed the damage, sorrow in his heart that his children could not get along.

"Everyone, stop this Nonesense immediatly." He yelled at the top of his Lungs. The Omni-sliver was 50 Ft in diameter. and 500 ft long. He was many colors, and had a set of blue wings, and black wings. He had two sets of Talons, and his tail was spiked like a club. He used his power to make sure everyone heard him. He also sounded very, very, very very very threatning. All of Warhaven stopped immediatly, as if frozen in their tracks. The Omni-sliver put a sheild around them to protect them from harm.

The vasin and the Shin tribesmen continued on for a few paces, then staggerd to a halt, stunned by finally meeting an intelligent being bigger than they were, unfortunately the mahouts had lost control of the rampaging pagathars, who took the opportunity offered by the enemy stopping to try and trample everything on the planet, they hoped this really big bug would realise they had no control over the pagathars at this point in the battle. The various commanders stopped what they were doing, be it charging, hacking, or shooting, they stopped and made their way towards the massive sliver in their midst, they weren't sure why but it seemed like the correct thing to do.
