Statement to the National Press by Party Spokesperson Georges Dupont
The National Assembly was created in the midst of political turmoil within the Republic. The distribution of seats needed to be generous if we were to satisfy the opposing parties, but with political stability in place, many of the seats that were necessary are no longer, and a smaller National assembly should prove to be more efficient and less beaurcratic. The Premier's decision will benefit us all.

The Premier has annouced that this is just the first step in his initiative to minimize unnecessary beaurcracy in The Republic, leading up to the end of his term.
