This is my newly forced armed forces page. Any comments are more than welcome, just as long as they are constructive!
The Army
Infantary Forces
Guards Infantary
The backbone of the Kazakh military. Infantary provide the main defensive force of any movement, and are effective reserve forces. Alogn with what they can carry, artillery and anti-tank support is added at regimental level, giving most combat units incredible firepower. The infantary are designed to be air-mobile, meaning that they are no stranger to helicopters and aircraft, despite lack of Airborne training.
Airborne Troops
The main effectice force of combat infantary. Often the first main force in a warzone, and the face of the Kazkah army. The best trained and equipped at platoon level, the tactics used are those developed from every war since WWI. Working closely with Air assets and support assets, this is the most hybrid force you will find in the Provinces.
Zulu Force
The special forces. Deployed to any flashpoint in the world, these forces are meticulously traiend to work with any support, in any way shape or form. Rapidly airmobile, most QRF's in our armed forces are formed from Zulu. Heavily armed at platoon level, every squad is an active anti-tank and anti-infantary unit.
November
Only a few squads of November squads exist. The tip of the spear anywhere in the world, these are the best troops in the Provinces. Trained to work anywhere, especially urban terrain, all November troops are picked from AIrborne and Zulu squads. Most units ahve their own organic fire support, and a dedicated air support branch exists for their purpose.
The Infantary unit construction:
1 Division: 6 Battalions
1 Battalion: 6 Brigades
1 Brigade: 6 Regiments
1 Regiment:
2 Platoons with Mortar and GPMG Fire Support
2 Platoons with AT and GPMG Fire Support
2 Platoons with AA and GPMG Fire Support
1 Platoon: 6 Squads, 1 Leader
1 Squad: 6 Soldiers in 3 Fireteams:
Alpha: 3 Men Mobility Squad
Bravo: 2 Men MG Squad
Charlie: 1 Marksman
Armored Forces
Armor Groups
This is the main bulk of Kazakh armor. Consisting of everything from Self Propelled Guns to Tank Destroyers, the armored group is an organic unit to be feared of. Rapidly mobile and used in combination with greater strategic movement, usually in the counter penetration mode.
Air and Sea Mobile Armor
Usually slightly lighter armor, used by air transport and sea invasion forces to provide armored support anywhere in the globe. Usually the amror makes up the backbone of an invasion, providing some heavy support to more strategically important tasks.
The Armored Unit construction:
1 Platoon: 6 Tanks
1 Regiment:
6 Command "Staff" Tanks
12 Main Battle Tanks
6 Tank Destroyers
6 Light Battle Tanks
6 Self Propelled Artillery Piece
1 Brigade:
24 Command "Staff Tanks"
72 Main Battle Tanks
48 Light Battle Tanks
36 Self Propelled Artillery Pieces
36 Tank Destroyers
NOTE: Armor is usually only used in Brigade level, and several brigades are combined to make "Divisions".
In time I will add dedicated Marine Forces, and then expan onto Air Force and Navy. Though Navy is harder.
