Wolfach, The Black Forest, Germany...
Dark clouds hung in the sky over Wolfach, the ancient town in the heart of the Black Forest, blocking out the afternoon sun and allowing the chilly winds to pass unchecked.
A team of ten anthropologists, hailing from various territories of Germania - Lithuania, Russia, Hungary, Denmark, Austria, and Germany - had been in the town of Wolfach, for over two weeks searching for something, something which could not be revealed to anyone.
The team was operating to the West of the town proper, in a thick area of woods. A cold, drizzling rain fell upon the team, moistening the black dirt beneath their feet. Doctor Wolfgang Hutmann and two colleagues from Germany and Austria, respectively, had found something -- something that perhaps that should not have found.
"Ich fand etwas!"
What he had found was the corner of an entrance to a tunnel, leading downwards.
As the group began to uncover the piece of stone, a symbol was roughly etched into it:
http://altreligion.about.com/library/graphics/symbols/valknut.jpg
An escort of six SSA Guards, after hearing the shout of the doctor, ran to the site and examined it. One the guards whispered "Valknut..."
[Translated from German...]
SSA-Oberleutnant: "Inform the SSA-Gruppenführer immediately."
-------------------------------
Three hours later...
The cover of the tomb had been completely unearthed, and pushed aside, revealing a dark, cold tunnel with crude stairs running down it.
"Gehen in die Bohrung! Jetzt!"
Three SSA Guards with gas masks on, stormed downwards, assault rifles with flashlights attached, in their hands.
[Speaking over a radio; translated from German...]
SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider: "What do you see?"
"Ich sehe-" Static... "...und es..."
SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider: "I cannot hear you. What did you say?"
"Ich sehe die-" Static... "-warze Sonne!"
SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider: "What do you see!?"
"Die Schwarze Sonne!" Static... "-on this stone table... wait..." Static...
SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider: "What is it? Herr Brachmann?"
Static...
Several minutes passed before the three soldiers emerged from the tunnel. They had taken their gas masks, and their eyes no longer bore signs of life and sentience -- they were dull, empty, and the SSA Guards were rambling incoherently.
Nothing they said was making sense: talk of numbers, smoke, a book, symbols...
The rest of the SSA Guards backed away and aimed their G-36 assault rifles at the men, who were walking in random directions, back and forth, in the shape of a triangle.
One walked back and forth horizontally, the other two followed a similar pattern, but one in left diagonal pattern, the other in a right diagonal pattern.
The rain started to fall heavier, and it plunked against the steel helmets of the SSA. The Guards all had looks of fear in their eyes, except SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider.
SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider: "I am informing the Reichschancellor.
Make sure those men do not move. Handcuff them and put them in the AAAV. Have a medic give them shots of Thorazine."

Nürnberg, Germany...
Reichschancellor Kahn had just hung up the phone with SSA-Gruppenführer Scheider, who had given him a detailed analysis of what had happened in Wolfach.
On his desk sat three books: The Necronomicon, The King in Yellow, and The 7 Ecrypted Books of Hsan.
He silently contemplated what to do next in his luxurious, elegant command room.
What's happening here could endanger everything that every man, woman, and child has confirmed to be fact, he thought to himself.
"The Emperor..."
Kahn lifted the phone and pressed ten buttons. Over the phone speaker, he heard three rings before there was an answer.
"Hello?"
"Herr Emperor, it's Reichschancellor Kahn."
"How are you, Kahn?"
"I'm doing well, my friend. But I must inform you of something which happened in Wolfach, Germany - in the Black Forest..."
Kahn went on to explain in detail the situation, and recited what the SSA-Gruppenführer had said to him.
"Herr Emperor, I am reopening the Nazi Schwarze Sonne Order, to find out exactly what they were doing. I suggest you take into serious consideration what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen.
Thank you for your time, I will speak with you later, my friend."
Reichschancellor Kahn hung up, and placed his hands together, his elbows resting on his desk. He tapped his fingers together, and poured a glass of vodka.
Schwarze Sonne..., he thought.

"It's so quiet out here." The man looked around. It was nighttime and the sky above was black with the night and from a storm that hung overhead. "I've never seen a storm like this," he said as he peered out over the horizon. "Look over there. It's the lightning. I've been told this storm is pretty fierce. It's coming in..." He was one of six soldiers, sent to guard an ancient temple.
The temple had been found almost a hundred and fifty years ago by a team of explorers but it had never been shown to the public. The journals and diaries from the explorers talked of strange happenings, scary happenings, dangerous happenings. Of the eighteen man expedition: two burst into flames in their tent, six came ill with a strange disease that liquified their internal organs and made them bleed from every pore, four mysteriously vanished, three were murdered without any clear evidence as to weapon or struggle or entrance as they were all killed in locked rooms, locked from the inside, and the remaining three went mad and were committed to an asylum. That had been in the year 1857.
The temple was buried in a mountain, deeply buried. It was hundreds of years old, probably dating back before the year 0 AD. It was certainly a mystery to Layartebian scholars and, for the most part, it had been untouched since its discovery. Now it was being used for a different purpose. Located in Kerry County, of Layartebian Ireland, the tomb was certainly well placed. It was in the Macgillicuddy's Reeks, a 12 mile long mountain range. The highest mountain in this range is 3,409 feet high, called Carrantuohill. There are over 100 other Hewitts (peaks of over 2,000 ft). The mountains, part of the Armorican Highlands, are of glacial-carved sandstone and are situated on the Iveragh peninsula near the Lakes of Killarney.
"What the hell are we doing out here anyway?" The man asked. He was holding his M30A1 Assault Rifle tight as he sat on a rock. He and the other five men were all part of Force Scoprion, the 7th Black Operations Unit, based out of Dublin.
"Listen McCloughin. Just keep hush and stay tight. We're guarding this place until the convoy gets here." McGillycuddy said, the team leader. He was the oldest too, just over thirty-six, but certainly in better shape than most sixteen year olds. The rest of the team consisted of four other men, going by the names: Brogan, McClosky, Owen, and Sullivan, the last of which everyone called Sully.
They sat there in waiting for another half hour before lights flashed in the distance. "Sully, how many you got?"
"I count fourteen pairs of lights sir."
"Roger that. Convoy approaching. Look alive men!" They scattered and took up defensive positions. There were fourteen vehicles approaching, six M925 5-ton trucks, six M2010A1 Bushmaster IMVs, and two M2008A1 Dingo APVs. With them they carried a total of sixty-one people. Both Dingos and three of the Bushmasters were fully loaded with people whilst the other three Bushmasters carried equippment and the M925s carried equippment as well. But that wasn't all that was with the convoy. Four UH-96A Panther helicopters were inbound as well. All four of them were loaded heavy with ordinance, carrying two stub wings, each with two pylons. They carried a pair of HMP-400 12.7MM machine gun pods inboard and two 19-round rocket pods outboard with four FIM-186A Wizard missiles on the tips. Aside from that, each one mounted a single, door-mounted M35 LMG. Each could carry twelve people, including the two-man crew but they were carrying a different loading. Two of them carried a full complement of men, but they weren't soldiers, they were scientists. The other two were carrying more equippment.
"Sir, we've got helicopters too, from the east. See them over there?"
"Got em." The helicopters were painted all black and came in with their lights off but they were noticible in the sky, the dark clouds above silhouetting them. "Alright make sure we contact in."
"Roger that sir. Convoy Five-Seven this is Force Scorpion Team Six. Check in, over."
"Team Six this is Five-Seven. We're six minutes out. You got us on visual?"
"Roger that. We've got you. Fourteen vehicles and four helicopters."
"Roger that's us. Stand down. Out."
"Alright men, here they come, get ready." They remained hidden, just in case. The sensitivity of their mission was far too high for them to be seen until they were entirely sure that it was who it was. They had recieved reports of possible bandits in the mountains and throughout southern Ireland, the counties still unaffected by the Bubonic Plague outbreak all across the northern counties, Britain, and Norway. It wasn't the safest place in the Empire of them to be.
Finally, the convoy came to a halt about sixty meters from the cave entrance that they were guarding. "Alright it's confirmed. Come on out guys."
"Wilco." The men stood up and were, for the most part, in the pefect vantage points for attacking the convoy. At the same time, the helicopters began to touch down about a hundred meters away.
"Site is secure." McGillycuddy said as he looked around and saluted the man in charge of the operation, Colonel Bruce Griffin. "We haven't gone inside sir."
"Very good. We'll begin by establishing a perimeter around the site and unloading the equippment. The scientists are in the helicopters and they're ready to go to work. Here are the orders." He handed him a document.

Yellow, orange, and red flames licked two meters into the air, sending smoke upwards. The smell of the burning wood and the dull sound of the roaring fire, crackling wood, and sizzling water enticed all those around. It was only a small fire, meant to provide light for a few meters and warmth for that many plus a few. Around it were eight men, sitting down, bundled up and tired.
They were all older, between the ages of thirty and fifty-five. Each one of them had been a resident of southern Ireland for their entire lives. They were there before the Layartebians arrived and their blood would be there long after they left, if they left. Six of them were from County Kerry, the other two from just across the border in County Cork.
"Alright men. Let's get started. I don't think Mac or James are showing up." The eldest man spoke. He wore a long beard and three layers. He was quite cold, despite the fire.
"Indeed. Let us..." Another man spoke. He went by the name 'Charlie' but that certainly wasn't his name, nobody knew his name.
"The Layartebians have an operation over at Puck's Mountain. We do not know the details but this is the perfect opportunity to strike fear into them, fear of the mountains."
"Most certainly Donegal," the elder continued. "What of their force sizes?"
"Four attack helicopters, multiple vehicles, all light-skinned. Unknown number of soldiers. No more than a hundred."
"Very well. Good work Donegal." The elder smiled and looked down at the Uzi by his feet. "What is the plan of attack?"
"Well we have forty men in this area, all armed, capable. We can descend onto them from the far side, breech their perimeter, and hopefully destroy those helicopters. They are the biggest threat. We need to take them out first."
"Most certainly. They have high powered weaponry. On their vehicles they have high powered weaponry as well?"
"Yes sir. Heavy machine guns, fifteen millimeter kind. They also have air support not that far away."
"Alright we'll have to hit them hard, very hard." The elder breathed a sigh of relief. He looked around and down at the fire. Obviously this is going to work!
The men would wait until the morning to attack, coming out of the east to strike them, using the rising sun to disguise their attack. They would come in hard and fast, using assault rifles and rocket propelled grenades to attack the helicopters.
************************************************
The RQ-10A Pegasus flew low. It was a mere eight thousand feet off the ground, flying around the area of the dig site. It flew no further than fifteen miles away but passed over it several times, completely silent. It carried eight JDAM IIs and four FIM-186A Wizard missiles. It was taking pictures of the area, looking for enemy encampments. Rumors of mountain bandits had circulated back to command. It would fly over the fire six times, transmitting digital information back to its command site at Cork Air Force Base.
It would take less than two hours for the site to be identified and the information transmitted to the six Force Scorpion soldiers, all of whom were sitting at rest at the camp around the dig site. By now the camp had grown quite extensive. There were tents set up, camouflaging the dig site, the vehicles, the helicopters, and the soldiers.
TO: Force Scorpion-6
FR: 7BFCMD
Campfire has been detected from Pegasus overflight. Location due north, six kilometers. Heat signatures unable to be processed due to fire. Advise immediate reconnaissance. Rebel elements likely.
"Alright men. You heard them. Let's get on the move." McGillycuddy said as the six of them proceeded away from the camp. They informed Colonel Griffin of the situation, advising him not to say anything. As they departed away from the camp at a full running speed, they arose suspicion but nobody knew who they really were so nobody was too worried. They were moving at a speed of some 29 kmph, running quite fast. It would take them around twelve and a half minutes to get to the campfire. However, they weren't going to be able to run that fast over the hills and mountains, thus slowing them down. More or less, they could get there in twenty minutes.
They ran through the hills, crossing over a few streams, moving quite fast. They had their night vision goggles on and could see everything for four hundred meters with ease. The clouds overhead kept the stars at bay and the moon hidden. There were no lights in the forest here because there were no cities. It was the essence of dark.
As they came up on the camp, they slowed down, keeping absolutely quiet. Inside a clearing, they saw the campfire roaring but nobody around. They moved closer and closer, keeping vigilant to the surroundings. Each of them had a suppressor on their rifles and were able to keep their shots as quiet as possible. However, in the dead of the night and complete and utter silence, their gunshots would be heard.
Unfortunately, for them, there was nothing to be found. They returned back to the dig site shortly after, informing command of what they had found, a campfire, footprints, but no people. Vigilance would be utterly necessary!

Wolfach, Germany...
The once quiet, peaceful archaeological site had turned into a military/scientific expedition. Loud orders shouted in German echoed throughout the rainy, but tranquil, valley in which the group was located.
Computers, covered in clear plastic tarp, had been set up on the ground to monitor Electro-Magnetic activity. Above ground, there was some activity - higher than normal - but not outstandingly high.
The tunnel had been fully uncovered, and dozens of SSA Guards surrounded the perimeter. On their right sleeves were armbands with the Schwarze Sonne symbol.
"Down the tunnel!"
Four SSA-Strumman soldiers, led by SSA-Hauptsturmführer Baeker, entered the tunnel. This time in, they did not carry any weapons, only equipment. Yet, these soldiers were different from the rest -- dressed in Nazi Wehrmacht uniforms and bearing the sign of the Swastika.
It took roughly 2 minutes to walk down the tunnel, the flashlights of the men dancing along the floor, ceiling, and walls. Eventually they entered a large room, decorated in old, tribal markings and symbols.
In the center, their was a statue of a Germanic warrior dressed in battle gear, except something was very strange -- the face of the statue was a skull, and the figure had wings.
Standing in front of the sculpture was a stone table, and on it was a dusty, open book. In front of the book was a document in a folder, and on the folder was the seal of the Third Reich, and below the words "Gericht 17".
Maybe it was the book that those poor soldiers read down here, thought SSA-Hauptsturmführer Baeker.
As he opened the Nazi document, he read each page until the last, and on that last page at the top read "DIE ANFORDERUNG VON DAS NERGAL TOR", "The Invocation of the Nergal Gate".
SSA-Hauptsturmführer Baeker: "Begin the operation."
A large, square metal capsule, appearing almost as a coffin, was set on the floor by two SSA Guards. It was opened, and inside was a book, titled The Necronomicon, and on the cover of the book was engraved a swastika.
As well as the book, several glass bottles of liquids, Electro-Magnetic Activity Detection devices, antennas, and silver amulets.
The detection devices were set up, and the liquids poured in certain shapes around the men.
Chills were felt by all of the men at once as the book they carried was set upon the table and opened. A cold wind stirred inside the chamber, a the slight, almost inaudible whispers of dozens of voices were heard.
Baeker removed his gas mask, revealing short, grey hair and grey-blue eyes.
SSA-Hauptsturmführer Baeker:
"Nergal, Gott der Krieg, erinnern!
Nergal, Mörder der Feinden, Kommandant der Wirten, erinnern!
Nergal, Mörder der Löwen und Menschen, erinnern!
Nergal..."
Baeker continued reading out of the book, all the while the voices and the cries of those who no longer wander the Earth grew louder, and the wind inside blew stronger.
Still, the SSA Guards dressed in Nazi uniforms remained calm and resilient, the wind never touching their bodies.
Baeker spoke the last of the words.
"IA NERGAL-YA!
IA ZI AN'NGA KANPA!
IA N'NGA! IA NNGR-YA!
IA! N'NGYA!
IA ZI DINGIR NE'ENYA KANPA!
IA KANT'ALAMAK'KYA TAR'RA!
KANPA!"
One of the Wehrmacht soldiers picked up an antenna and held it forward.
Hissing was heard throughout the chamber, and a voice spoke, not in the air, but in the minds of all those present - speaking in a deep pitch, a medium pitch, and a high pitch all at once - arising from a red glow on the skull on the statue.
When it spoke, its voice changed tones -- moving from high to low to normal to high, on an inconsistent basis, sounding almost as if it was speaking backwards.
[Translated from German...]
"Who has called upon us?"
SSA-Hauptsturmführer Baeker: "Nazi Wehrmacht Major Helmut Koch, Schwarze Sonne Abteilung."
"Your weakness has not faltered."
Baeker: "I beg to differ. We have grown no weaker; it is you who have become weak in this trapping."
Baeker tapped the walls of the tomb and looked around.
"You have called upon us. What is it you seek?"
Baeker: "Knowledge... and your servitude."
The spirit laughed, backwards.
"I serve none, and your presence has merely angered me!
We have been forgotten for aeons, cast aside and buried by time."
The walls in the tomb shook, and dust and small fragments of stone fell from them.
Baeker: "Your remembrance is promised if you provide us with what we need."
"What do you seek?"

The men returned to the camp quickly and transmitted their findings accordingly. The tomb was open and the passageways lit. Long, heavy-duty extension cords, yellow in color and twelve gauge in thickness, ran down the shaft, connecting to fluorescent lights on tripod stands. The cords were all connected to six generators. At least a dozen of them were placed leading up to the main tomb. The passageway was about two hundred and fifty meters on a forty-five degree angle. It was perfectly in line with a star constellation, an unknown one, one so far away that it had died over a hundred million years ago, but had only stopped showing on Earth some six thousand years ago.
The scientist in charge was Dr. Rachel Wilson, the leading expert in paranormal activities. She worked for the much secret and concealed Ministry for Paranormal Activities. It had been kept secret from everyone except the Emperor and his inner circle. Dr. Rachel Wilson had been in charge of it from the very start. She was 5'8", about 130 pounds, with long, dark hair, and the greenest eyes, covered by a pair of glasses. She had pale skin, a byproduct of not being out in the sun very much. Her work kept her, for the most part, indoors, underneath books and table lamps. It affected her mind badly and just as the Emperor took drugs to ward off psychosis, so did she.
She was in charge of this operation, as if there was any doubt. Standing forty meters away from the tomb entrance, she pulled off her glasses and looked to the sky. The thunder clouds rolled in quickly, the lightning getting closer but the thunder not yet audible. "Alright, listen up!" She yelled as she put her glasses back on. A gust of wind caught her hair and a flash of lighting far off in the distance silhouetted her against the backdrop of the hillside. "We're going to open up the main tomb. You are all aware of what we are looking for. The tomb will be behind the statue of the Great Warrior Comhghall and behind that lies the tomb entrance. You are NOT to, under any circumstances, enter the tomb entrance. Only identify the symbol of the tomb, which all of you have seen." She held up a picture of the symbol.
http://www.theforsakenoutlaw.com/Graphics/Nation-States/Other/triplecrescent.jpg
Thunder cracked in the distance. "The storm approaches. Be careful down there, it's ancient. Understood? Now any questions?" Nobody spoke out, they were all too afraid. Sixteen soldiers were descending into the tomb to begin the operation whilst the rest remainded outside. They would take shifts, four hours long. In order to keep the integrity of the tomb intact, they had to carefully cut out the sealed entrance, which was thick stone. Crowbars and hammers were the only tools they would use, no electrical equipment. It was estimated to be a sixteen hour job but when it was done they would be inside the most powerful tomb in all of Ireland. They were digging for a powerful artifact, the heart of Comhghall, still perserved, legend had it. There was one other thing they needed to get, the sword of Comhghall.

Wolfach Grab, Germany...
OS-Hauptsturmführer Baeker emerged from the tomb, followed by the three OS Schützes. All four men were still wearing their gas masks and helmets, and Baeker carried a small black book in his hand.
On the cover, it read in grey letters,
SCHWARZE SONNE ABTEILUNG.
GERICHT 18.
EINGESTUFT.
Translated, "Black Sun Division. Experiment 18. Classified."
Eight officers, wearing black waterproof military trechcoats and officer's caps were waiting. Outside of the tomb, and accompanying the officers, were thirty OS-Ordnung Guards, all dressed in black and carrying 9.5mm StG-11 assault rifles [http://world.guns.ru/assault/fn_fnc1.jpg].
As OS-Hauptsturmführer Baeker removed his gas mask, he was approached by the Commanding Officer, OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim.
[Translated from German...]
OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim: "Well?"
OS-Hauptsturmführer Baeker: "I found out what we needed to know."
OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim: "Then where is it, Baeker?"
Baeker: "In a hidden coffin in the tomb. It's apparently behind a stone door, which must be removed by hand. I have the instructions written down in the book. Here."
He passed the black book to Donnerheim.
Donnerheim: "Then get a saw and cut it open."
Baeker: "No electronics, Herr Obergruppenführer."
Donnerheim: "Says who?"
Baeker: "Says the King."
OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim paused as the loud, close howling of wolves was heard.
A single wolf approached the men, completely fearless. The soldiers raised their assault rifles, as over a dozen more wolves surrounded the group.
The officers removed their pistols and several rounds were fired into the air as the pack began to approach. However, they were showing no signs of aggression or fear, and were now only four feet from the group of soldiers.
Without warning, four of the wolves growled and jumped on Baeker, biting his neck.
The rest of the wolfpack attacked the other soldiers, and the OS-Ordnung Guards responded accordingly.
A few seconds of gunfire passed, and the wolves lay dead on the ground, Baeker and the three OS-Ordnung Guards who had accompanied him amongst them.
OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim: "Wolves do not act like that. And no one else was bitten, except Baeker and the three OS Guards who went into the tomb with him."
OS-Schütze Hasselbank: "Herr Obergruppenführer! Look at Baeker's neck! Look at the other guards' necks!"
Black blood was pouring out of the bite wounds and tears in their throats.
OS-Schütze Hasselbank: "Look at the wolves!"
They too were bleeding black blood from the 9.5mm bullet holes in their bodies.
OS-Obergruppenführer Donnerheim: "Inform the Reichskanzler..."

The storm overhead had yet to dump any rain but it kicked up strong gusts of wind, thirty miles per hour to be exact. Thunder roared overhead and lightning lit up everything for miles. It was eerie, the temperature having dropped severely. "What do you suggest?" Dr. Watson's assistant asked. Her assistant was another woman. She did not have a PhD like Dr. Watson but was in the study. Her degrees included several degrees, including four post Master's.
Her name was Trisha Watson. There was something about Dr. Wilson and her, they were both women of a near perfect chemistry. Trisha was shorter, 5'2", almost a hundred pounds, skinny, cute, and a sight that could cheer up anyone from any mood. She had brown hair, which she had streaked red in some places, giving her a look that was more sexy than anything else. She was formerly a flight attendant but after a hijacking from Kaliningradian terrorists, she went back to school for her post masters degrees. What she was doing as a flight attendant with a Master's Degree was beyond anyone's comprehension.
"I think this storm isn't a coincidence. There's something going on, that's a definite thing."
"Yeah. What about the tomb?"
"It's there, it's here. See that symbol?" She pointed to the paper on the table. It was held down by rocks, the wind almost lifting it away. "Look up there at that rock?" She pointed up to a dock above the entrance. "It's hard to see. Here let me shine a light." She pulled out a flash light and pointed it at the rock, lighting it up.
"I see it. That's how you know?"
"Yes. It's concrete proof that we're in the right place. When they find this tomb, this heart, we're going to have this project."
"And of the Emperor?"
"He will be pleased."
"You haven't told me much about this except the little details you informed me."
"We're running a project here," she looked around. "Come with me. We need privacy."
"Alright." They walked off towards one of the vehicles. A guard stood by it and saluted as Dr. Wilson approached.
"We need privacy. Absolute privacy."
"Yes ma'am." He opened the rear door of the Bushmaster. "I will be fifty meters away."
"Very well." They climbed in and he shut the door, walked fifty meters away, and kept a watch on the truck.
"We're here researching more than just the paranormal." Dr. Wilson began. "The North Germanians have begun operations in the Black Forest looking for more paranormal activities, looking into The Necronomicon. We're here in semi-support of this project. Legends you are aware of but not to the full extent. Comhghall is a hero in Layartebian myth but an unnamed hero, an immortal. Comhghall fell in love with a woman, forbidden for the time. Her name was Cordelia, a beautiful woman, gorgeous, perfect. They were found and she executed by fire. She was sent to the afterlife and returned by the goddess Luna. He, on the other hand, was sentenced to wander around the planet for all eternity, unable to die, immortal, cursed, and forsaken. His heart was removed and placed in this tomb. This was all around the year 500 something. The temple was discovered in 1857, after thirteen hundred years of sealment.
"The heart is what we're after but the tomb must be entered carefully. The tomb has power, those who entered it previously are all dead. We will not happen to that. There is a way to enter it, a way with words, a way which takes away the curse. We will be going that way."
"What does the heart do?"
"The heart contains the secrets of the dead, the secrets of immortality, and the secrets of the past. It is, supposedly, still beating. We are digging up other artifacts after this, at various other temples here in Ireland, in Iceland, and in Layarteb. All of them will allow us to reconstruct Comhghall, who was, supposedly chopped up and scattered around the world, each piece still alive, as part of his further punishment."
"So who is he?"
"He is the Grim Reaper." Trisha was silent, unable to speak. "Let's get out of here."
"Okay." They left the truck and they went back to the tomb entrance. Inside, works were sifting through layers of dirt and dust. They were looking for the symbol. What they were digging through was the main entrance, the tomb could be anywhere inside of it or off of it. There were seven tombs before the main one, each one laid with booby traps and other problems. They were, essentially digging through thirteen hundred years of everything.

Wolfach, Germany...
The OS-Ordnung had taken over security of the tomb, while the SSA still worked inside. The SSA had finally find the point where the Nazis had left off -- raising their forgotten armies.
Wolfach Tomb, Wolfach...
Inside the tomb, the fires of the torches were still burning and a ring of salt surrounded the four men inside, as Donnerheim read from various books of power.
He had been informed of Layarteb's discovery of their project and their subsequent similar actions, yet it didn't surprise him. Reichskanzler Kahn and the Emperor practically bathed together.
SSA-Obergruppenführer Donnherheim: "...therefore you WILL swear allegiance to Reichskanzler Kahn."
"Why do assume we will answer to you?"
SSA-Obergruppenführer Donnherheim: "Because Comhghall is in the hands of the Emperor of Layarteb, the friend of Kahn."
"WHAT?"
The walls of the underground tomb shook again.
SSA-Obergruppenführer Donnherheim: "You will answer to Reichskanzler Kahn if you wish to leave these tombs."
"We will consider it. Let us speak with your leader."
SSA-Obergruppenführer Donnherheim: "Absolutely not."
Donnerheim slammed the book closed and the voices speaking were silenced.
The SSA team left the tomb and went into the daylight above...

"I've found it!" One of the men screamed out. He had found the symbol, the triplecrescent. The statue of the Great Comhghall had been found and the single, four inch by four inch tile on the wall, with the symbol of the triplecrescent, the symbol of Mother Moon. It represented the three aspects of the moon: waning, waxing, and full or the three aspects of womankind: mother, maiden, and crone. The ancient culture of the Layartebians was pagan, much like the culture was today. Albeit it was vastly different then, the head diety was Luna, the moon goddess, the one who forsaked Comhghall. "I found it!" He dusted it off with the two inch paint brush and called out again.
Two of the men immediately set to running, climbing their way out of the multiple tombs and entrances to the main entrance. "We found it! We found it!" He yelled to Dr. Wilson. She smiled.
"Show me!" She began to follow but stopped a few feet shy of the entrance. She turned to Trisha. "Coming?" Trisha nodded and followed as they entered the entrance. It was illuminated from the lights that had been set up and it was definitely centuries old.
When they got to the main dig site, they were shown the symbol. "That's it. Alright everyone clear out." Everyone did and just Dr. Wilson and Trisha were there. "Ready?"
"For what?"
"We're going to open the tomb."
"How?"
"Ancient prayer. But it must be recited by a woman." She pulled a piece of paper from her pocket and looked around. "If you have any reservations with anyone you best leave them behind. If we fail in this we won't know about it."
"We won't?"
"No."
"Just one but he knows."
"Good." She took a deep breath and began to recite the prayer. It wasn't in English but rather the ancient dialect, not spoken for over a thousand years. The prayer was eight minutes long, a lot of words that Trisha didn't understand. When she was done, the brick lit up and glowed white. "It worked!" Dr. Wilson was ecstatic! She screamed out again that it worked. Trisha could only feel her heart pounding out of her chest. She nodded, not a word in her mouth.
Then the process began. Dr. Wilson pushed in the symbol and it recessed about four more inches inside the wall. Then, with a thud, the wall shook. Dust and dirt fell off it, filling the tomb with a cloud. Then the wall fell down to the floor and the main tomb was open. Four torches, one in each corner, burned. They had been burning since the tomb was sealed. However, instead of burning the normal color of fire, they burned black.
Sitting in the middle of the room, which wasn't more than about eight by eight, was a pedestal, the heart levitating above it. It was still beating and it glowed red. "Look. It's still beating!" Dr. Wilson said. Trisha still had no words. "That's it. We need that. And the sword, it's over there!" The sword was sitting in the corner, against the wall, hilt on the ground. It was covered in dust but they could tell that it was still sharper than ever.
