The Council of Vulpes, our nation's supreme temporal and spiritual authority, has long maintained that slavery is a practice inconsistent with our religious and moral principles. While, of course, questions about the specifics have yet to be answered, I nevertheless announce my nation's agreement with the general goal of your proposal. You have our support.

The Holy Empire has never allowed slavery within it's boarders. Although we will have to pass on signing this Anti-Slavery Act of yours. We feel that it is unwise to force ones beliefs onto other people and their culture.

the concept of "slavery" is an interesting one for my people, as for this agreement, we shall have to wait until a complete version of the treaty is availible before passing judgement on it's merits.

The Community of the Genetic condemns this treaty. We feel that any person selected to do their duty as a manual labor worker without pay is happy. They have been found to be stupid and ignorant, and work makes them happy. They will serve the upper echelons of our society, just as the uppers serve the lowers. Our workers are selected because of their lack of mental power, and are conditioned to serve in harsh conditions.

We feel that this treaty intrudes on the freedoms of a sovereign nation, and we will act violently if this treaty is to be forced upon us.
