The Imperial Cottish Navy has announced today that it will construct and operate three new classes of warships. The first class will be a anti-surface/air destroyer. The second is an ASW destroyer, and the third is a coastal patrol submarine.
Devlin class
GUIDED MISSILE DESTROYER

The Devlin class destroyer is a brand new addition to the Imperial Cottish Navy, and will surely be a valuable asset to the Fleet.
Lenght: 200 meters
Beam: 14 meters
Draught: 6,6 meters
Tonnage: 16 000 tons (full load)
The Devlin class will be sporting a total of 204 Vertical Launch Tubes, being able to fit all missiles currently in service with the Imperial Cottish Navy. This includes
• RGM-84F Harpoon Block II (48)
• RGM-84G SLAM ER (24)
• RGM-109 TASM Tactical Tomahawk (24)
• RGM-109 TLAM-C Tactical Tomahawk (22)
• RGM-109 TLAM-N Tactical Tomahawk (2)
• RIM-156A Standard Block IV SM-2 ER (68)
• RIM-162C Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (32 [4 per cell])
• RUM-139C ASROC (12)
The Devlin class will also sport one Mk-75 5” cannon and two 30mm CIWS mounts, in addition to two 21-cell launchers for the RIM-166 Block II Rolling Airframe Missile.
The propulsion will consist of four LM3000 General Electric Marine Gas turbines, giving a total push of 170 000 shaft horse power. The Devlin class will also have three Allison 3000 KW Gas Turbine Generators, 2 Shafts with CRP (Controllable Reversible Pitch) Propellers and 2 Rudders. This massive machinery, combined with the streamlined hull will give the Devlin class a top speed of 42 knots.
Since the majority of the combat systems in the Devlin class are automated, the Devlin class will not need a large crew. Its crew will consist of 11 officers and 127 enlisted (138 crewmembers total). They will have comfortable quarters, and the most basic luxuries such as satellite TV, broadband Internet, DVD-players and a gym!
The combat systems on the Devlin class are for the most part classified top secret, but they will be the state of the art. We are, however, allowed to reveal that the Devlin class will sport the new AN/SPY-2G radar array.
The Devlin class will not be sporting a helicopter, since she is not designed for any more ASW warfare then necissary for self defense.
The price per unit will be approximately $1 billion USD.

Rothsky class
ANTI SUBMARINE DESTROYER

Length: 172 meters
Beam: 17 meters
Draught: 7,9 meters
Tonnage: 11 000 tons (full load)
The Rothsky class ASW destroyer is a new vessel in the Imperial Cottish Navy, and is to escort the Devlin class destroyers in new destroyer squadrons.
The Rothsky class will be sporting a total of 96 Vertical Launch Tubes, able to fit all missiles in service with the Imperial Cottish Navy. Its main armament will be
• RIM-156A Standard Block IV SM-2 ER (24)
• RIM-162 Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (32 [4 per cell])
• RUM-139C ASROC (40)
• RGM-109 TASM Tactical Tomahawk (24)
It will also carry six Mk-32 triple mounts for Mk-50 torpedoes, two Mk-75 5” cannons, two 30mm CIWS systems and two 21-cell RIM-116 RAM launchers.
The powerplant is the same as the Devlin class: four LM3000 General Electric Marine Gas turbines (giving a total push of 170 000 shaft horse power), three Allison 3000 KW Gas Turbine Generators, 2 Shafts with CRP (Controllable Reversible Pitch) Propellers and 2 Rudders. This gives the Rothsky class a max speed of 41 knots.
The crew complement of the Rothsky class will consist of 16 officers and 182 enlisted (198 crewmembers total). They will have comfortable quarters, and the most basic luxuries such as satellite TV, broadband Internet, DVD-players and a small gym, like the Devlin class.
The Rothsky class will carry two SH-60F Seahawk ASW helicopters, with hangar space for both helicopters. Combat systems remain classified, but the Rothsky class will have state of the art sonar and ASW combat systems, and limited AAW and ASuW capabilities.
The price per unit will be approximately $960 million USD.

Tennessee class
CONVENTIONALLY POWERED SUBMARINE

The Tennessee class submarine is a completely new submarine, designed to patrol the Cottish coastline in the White, Baltic and Black Seas.
Length: 64 meters
Beam: 6,3 meter (pressure hull)
Height: 13 meters
Displacement: 1700 cubic meters (full load)
The crew complement of the Tennessee class is as follows: 6 officers, 24 enlisted (30 crewmembers total).
The propulsion of the Tennessee class are diesel electric, and she carries aboard one Admiral Electric 16v 396 diesel engine, giving 3.12 MW worth of energy. She also carries a Cotland Industries AIP (Air Independent Propulsion) system, which uses 300 kW. This allows her to retain a lot of power for manouvering and other operations. This engine is one of the most silent and powerful submarine power plants in the world, and will be perfect for the Tennessee class. The Tennessee have a single shaft, and one propeller. The patrol speeds of the Tennessee class is six knots, in which she is virtually impossible to detect. Mission sprint speeds are somewhere between 15 and 20 knots.
The Tennessee class have a range of 12 000 nautical miles, and a mission endurance of 12 weeks. She can remain submerged for three weeks without having to snorkel. Max dive depth for the Tennessee class will be in excess of 400 meters.
The Tennessee class have six 21” torpedo tubes, and can carry up to twenty-four weapons. Normal weapons load will be 6 UGM-84F Harpoon and 18 Mk-48 ADCAP. This will give her a formidable fighting ability, and ensure that the enemy fear the Tennessee class.
The combat systems carried aboard the Tennessee class is classified, but ships of this class will make use of a brand new towed sonar array, making it completely impossible for someone to sneek up on them.
Price per vessel are $300 million.
