Communication equipment and navigation could be a useful addition, as well as adding a few safety features.
Theao

Communication equipment as well as navigational gear are built into the suits of the operators of the Viper. As the suit is not on demonstration, they were not mentioned. What kind of safty feature would you suggest?
Blood Moon Goblins

BMG would suggest that you take off the guns, stick a really fast engine in it and strap a few barrels of explosives on the side...
But we realize that most humans have this 'thing' about blowing yourself up.
As this is the case, might we suggest a small grenade/rocket launcher? Something like a 2lb rocket in AT/HE varients.
We arent so keen on saftey features, but perhaps a seatbelt would help?

That aside, BMG has a few items it would be happy to show off...like the Duuch (pronounced Do-kh) Heavy Battle Tank. It mounts a 150mm turret cannon mostly for AT work and a 75mm sponson gun that fires HE and canister rounds. There are two sub-turreted machine guns for infantry support.

(OOC:
Before you chew me out for using such an outdated concept, remember that these are GOBLINS. Their idea of strategy is to find a bigger keg to stuff with explosives.
If you werent planning to chew me out, well...blah :P)

OOC:

Any chance Kzakh Provinces could show off one of their designs?

We would very much like to show off our military in front of the world.

Suggestion noted but there are two anti-armour missle launchers built into the design. We shall run tests to see whether it would be superior to subout a grenade launcher.

Willink Proudly displays our 1st homebuilt fighter planes.

MIG-29/AIP

The MiG-29/AIP (advanced interdiction platform) is a modified MIG-29 Platform with 2 updated MIG-25 110 kN (24,700 lb st) Soyuz/Tumansky R-15BD-300 afterburning turbofans, which are able to Retain speed longer without as much overheating. It has an advanced fly by the wire radar system, similar to that in the new MiG-35/39. With an updated engine, this is the fastest fighter available, with a top speed of Mach 2.83(1,865 mph)(It can sustain this speed for twice as long as the MiG-25.). Due to the immense heat from that speed, most of the plane is built out of a mix of titanium and a special alloy of carbon fiber. There is planned to be several different variants, including a Bomber Platform, A reconnaissance platform, and a carrier based platform. It has one 30mm Gsh-30-1 cannon with 200 rounds (same as MiG-29M). Due to double mountable weapon racks, it can hold 5,000kg of weapons, on 14 hard points. A main use of this platform is the mounting of the new R-77M1 Russian missile, which has a ramjet propulsion device, which is an engine that reduces engine complexity by eliminating most of the moving parts; and this also eliminates the need for fans. This missile is a redesigned version of the Russian R-77RRV-AE missile, with a new engine and a new targeting system, with a range far superior to that of the US AIM-120 AMRAAM missile. A specially modified version of the plane may be able to use the Russian Novator KS-172 AMM-L anti AWACS missile, with an estimated range of 400km! Besides that, it can carry the regular slur of weapons, including AA-11 archers, RVV-AE, R-27ER1,R-27ET1,R-27R1,R-27T1, and R-73 air-to-air missiles, and Kh-29T,Kh-29L,Kh-31A,KH-31P,Kh-35E air-to-surface missiles, KAB-500L and KAB-500KR guided bombs, as well as unguided rockets and free-fall bombs. Its radar can track 15 targets simultaneously, and it can attack 6 targets at once. The radar itself is an improved version of the MiG-31’s Zaslon SBI-16, which now has a range of 80 miles. Though probably not going to be built, a version of the plane with a single Anti-Satellite missile, similar to that used by the MIG-31D was proposed. Another major improvement is the inclusion of the SU-37’s thrust vectoring system, for unrivaled maneuverability. It has a performance ceiling of 63,000 feet. The plane itself is twin seated, with a pilot and a radar operator. It is planned for export, and will cost around 40 million dollars each. The Mig-29Aip is just the current name, and possible names include the Mig-30, MiG-29TM, and MiG-29AP.

Now turn your attention to the second display, the WAW-1 Fighter !

WAW-1 Fighter/Bomber

The WAW-1 is a heavily modified Mirage 3 airframe, with a Saab Gripen 80.5 kN (18,100 lb st) General Electric/Volvo Flygmotor RM12 (F404-GE-400) afterburning turbofan, which gives the plane a top speed of Mach 2 (1321mph). The WAW-1 (Lion) is a small, agile, and lightweight fighter with secondary roles in recon and Fighter-bombing. A major selling point of the plane will be the Flight control system (FLCS). The plane uses the power-by wire system used on the JSF/F-35, which integrates the pilot and the plane. It can track 10 targets at one, and engage 4. The plane has full colored panels, and a HUD. The pilot’s helmet has sights and display. The plane also has the revolutionary Electronic Warfare system (EW) deployed on the United Arab Emirates F-16E/F’s. This system enhances pilot survivability, provides in flight built in training, improves situational awareness, and decreases a pilot’s workload. The display for this is mounted on the left side of the cockpit panel, and has a large color display. This panel, called the Advanced Tactical Threat display gives the pilot all available Electronic Warfare information. That includes primary threat warning (Radar/Missile threats and jam indication) and a secondary status indication (Mode/Heath status, menus/selection and dispenser inventory.) The planes appearance has been vastly improved, and has been streamlined much like the mirage 2000C. It has an integrated weapon system, which has a touch display to fire missiles, along with joystick-mounted triggers. The plane has a brand new 360-degree cockpit, much like the F-22. The plane has a 20mm cannon, and has 4 underwing hard points carrying 2,000 kg of weapons, and can mount 4 air-to-air missiles and 1 guided bomb or Anti-ship missile. Its ceiling is 54,000 feet and has a massive range of 2,200 miles. A major distinction in the plane is that it has F-16 like wings, and back fins, unlike the Mirage 3, which is delta-winged. As other Willink designed fighters, it has a thrust vectoring system. The plane is very inexpensive, costing only around 19 million. The carbon built body takes in radar waves, which also increases the stealth of the plane.

We are open to any suggestions or comments, so enjoy !

A piece that the fledging Hyst Munitions has been developing.

UX-3 ultralightweight rifle

The initial was formulated when Alliant Techsystems Co announced the XM8. In order to vie for similar contracts abroad, Hyst has been developing a compeating lightweight rifle. Though the firing rate is much less then its american counterpart, the rifle sports a greater range and almost half the weight unloaded. The UX-3 utalizes some of the most advansed composite materials and minatureized avaible as well as sporting the full length carrying handle (similar to the GIAT FAMAS). Though overheating was a major problem in early models, the UX-3 has worked many of those problems out by redusing the firing rate to the current 600rds/min. Another potential limitation of the UX-3 is the current price of composte materials, unless the effencency of production of such material is reduced, this could be a severe limitation of the UX-3
