OOC: I start this on my Birthday, May 25th, as a present to myself. It is my Birthday when I write, even if the forums don't say so. This is devoted to the construction of my ultimate battleship. The Pinnacle of Warhaven engineering, my crowning achievement. My mark, I am putting 110% into this. It is also a Five year RL project, with each part taking a year. I have had this in mind for several months, and have been thinking about it constantly. I must now put it to post, or forever discard the idea. It is closed, because I want a chance, I want to see what my dream manifests as, and how it stands up to everyone else.

IC: The slivers had been quietly filtering out of Warhaven for awhile. Warfare, in his Godly scheming, had kept from his friends, a grand Idea, an Idea that would shake the throne of Creation itself. The followers of Warfare had also quietly been filtering out. There was enough of both Species to escape notice, but the fact remained, numbers where slightly down. The Flying Continent, also known as The Sky Garden, Warfare's greatest and best research laboratory headed off to deep space with those that had quietly left on board. They went to the deepest reaches where no one went, and those that did were on the verge of death, due to such things as low supplies, or grevious wounds. Not with Sky Garden though, it was equiped with Replicators, to feed them, and give them supplies. They had recieved their instructions from Warfare, they were to build a Ship of War, and Peace, of Creation, and Destruction, a ship unlike any ever seen by Mortal Man. Those that remained back home, delved deep into research, to upgrade what Warhaven knew, what Warhaven could build. The first step though, was to build the basic Superstructure, so that everthing else could be built, but Warhaven was to be pretty big. It would be its own size category, eventually.
So, everyone went to work, determined to push the utter limits of reality, and usher in a new era, but that would take Eons. Only their great decendants would ever know the completed project. With great celebration, the first of pieces of Darksteel, a metal that was nearly indestructible, were set into place. Eventually, Mirroden itself would be no more, taken to the construxtion of, Warhaven.

1/365 completed.

I'm assuming this is FT.

5 RL years to do this project? It would be 2010 in RL time when you finally finish this project. That's a hell a long time to wait in NS.

I'd suggest cutting down the RL time to maybe 3 - 5 months RL at most, so that you don't get bored and quit this project because of the "5 year RL" thing. For all you know, you might not even be interested in NS next year in 2006.

Just wondering why you'd wait 5 RL years to finish this?

OOC: This sir, sounds like a grand plan, and I hope that all goes well for you, also consider this a Tag. I shall watch in earnest to see such a grand ship. May the force be with you, and a late happy b-day, as mine is tomorrow.

OOC:The Warhaven is going to be combined of all techs. The reason it takes 5 RL years is because:

A) I'm working on it alone.

B) Warhaven is going to be the same length and width of SOL.

C) This is really is going to be a Warship unlike any ever seen.

D) I'm taking 5 RL years because I am pouring large sums into research ICly to make this work.

E) No where in all my reading have I seen anything like this.

F) Therefore I'm making this up out of Wholecloth, and need an adequte amount of time to Reasearch all the tech, and do the building, lest I get called a Godmoder.

No one can tell me it is impossible to do in RL, Space has no gravity, therefore I don't have to contend with that, I'm not going to forget machinery to account for the various gravity fields I'll find from all the celestial bodies in space, and Everyone else has some sort of supership of Doom, so I'm making the supership of Doom to end all superships of Doom and moving my entire civilization there when its complete. By the time 5 RL years have passed, my population should be large enough to support this monstosity. I have thought about this for the past five months, and finally decided to go ahead with it.

OOC:

I have no problem with your super warship. I was just surprised that you'd choose to wait 5 RL years for this thing. IIRC, you only have to stay in NS for roughly 2 years to get 5 billion population. Thus, in 5 RL years, you'd have 10 - 12 billion population.

Also, what if you lose interest in NS or RP'ing enthuaism?

I do admire your extreme restraint and patience to wait 5 RL years. That's awesome, honestly, I don't think I'd be able to wait 5 RL years to build something nice.

Kudos to you.

BTW, happy birthday. :D

OOC: I'll never lose intrest in NS, RPing or otherwise. It sharpens my writing skills. Someday I'll be a famous Author in print. All NS'ers will know me, because I lifted some of My Characters, my nation's name, and The Warhaven itself (Scaled down abit) directly from the book.

Besides, If I've waited longer for other things, I'm sure I can wait five years for The Warhaven, not that I won't be looking for IC excuses to get it done quicker.

Awesome. I'm looking forward to reading the progress on this thing. Perhaps you could use this whole RP thing (building this warship) as a volume in a series of novels? You could do a trilogy of sorts, book 1 = rise of Warhaven civilization, book 2 = building of the Warhaven Super-Ship, book 3 = Warheaven civilizaton after the Super-Ship.

That would be a great read. :D

OOC: You'll be a longer NS'er than I will be, Warhaven...well, maybe. By that time, I will have just finished college, and will have moved from the world of rp to writing for real. I'm using all the rp here as a learning experience...I'm getting into ALL of your heads, finding out what makes you tick...and eventually, I will spew shades of everyone I know back out onto the canvas of my screen.

OOC: As will I, but I will never stop. I am a very strange person In RL. I tend to scare most of the people that get to know me. Not that I'm a bad person, just that in RL, my thoughts, my mind, me as a person, I'm outside the Norm. I am an anomalous person, I do not fit into man's rules of acceptability, thus most simply label me stupid, crazy or any number of other names, or any combination there of.

OOC: I do that too! Except I reverse it and do BS and logic first.
