Jagadian Elections!

"Good day everyone, election times are coming up and already canidates from their respective parties have gone out across the Commonwealth to get your vote. From recent perlimiary polls taken by us, it appears current Highest Minister Hunter Norris is sure to win reelection, though it is expected that his relection with not go unopposed. Zane Ballard of the Liberal Party has gain a lot of support in Eastern and Northern Jagada as he voices his strong 'isolation and culturlization" policy. Only time will tell which will assume the role of Highest Minister."

A glance at the canidates and their platforms:

Name: Hunter Norris
Party: Morality Party
Platform: Despite the fact that the Morality Party was only formed months before the last election took place, Hunter Norris managed to get a sweeping victory. Hunter's platform is simple, he plans to continue keeping Jagada a religious nation, although Christianity is the majority leader in religion. His policies follow intervenetion when nessecary, and has openly condemned all Facists nations during his campaigning in his famous quote: "All men are equal in the eyes of God". In terms of social policies he is going to, if reelected, bring forth a bill which would ban Homosexual Marriage once and for all, during his current term the bill was blocked by the Liberal Party which managed to gain a foothold in the House of People, he also intends to push for a more moral Jagada including screening of movies, games, and television shows to ensure that they are not "overly sinful", he also stated he will continue his campaign against racism in Jagada, which while not a major social problem, does still exist. As it turns to economics, he intends to try to end the divide between the Four Sections, and attempt to unify the nation under a "Controlled Capitalism" policy.

Name: Zane Ballard
Party: Liberal Party
Platform: After the Liberals suffered what many have called the most humilating defeat last election, and the ousting of most of the parties high ranking members due to that defeat, a new liberal party as arisen from the ashes of the old one. Zane Ballard is a former lawyer who has been apart of several liberal activist groups calling for the dismantling of several other political parties due to their "Oppression of the People", such parties as the recently formed Morality Party. In terms of Foreign Policy Ballard said he didn't have one in a sense, that Jagada should be an isolation country. In terms of social issues, he has not stated to legalized Homosexual Marriage, but is pushing to ensure it cannot be banned, he continued his Pro-Choice stance, and staunch removal of all religion from government, and from what sources have stated he also intends to attempt to ban churches from voicing their views to their members in terms of politics. In terms of economics, his policy is similar to his rivals Norris Hunter's, except in a different fashion. He says that the more "Controlled Economy" plan works better.

Name: Gabriel Arnold
Party: Centrist Party
Platform: The Centrist Party has for nearly seven decades been challanging the Liberal Party in their nearly aboslute control over the country due to winning each election. While the Centrist Party has won a few elections during those seven decades, they still remain a minor party in the eyes of many. Arnold is a retired school teacher. In terms of Foreign Policy, Arnold seeks to establish strong ties with the more powerful countries across the world and attempt to basically be friends with all nations. In terms of Social Policy his is one that would make any centrist tear up with pride. He doesn't support legalizing Homosexual Marriage, since he regonizing it as a religious institution. He does, however, support Civil Unions which would offer different economic benefits, but not the same as marriage. In terms of economic policy, he believes the divide between the North and East's "Pro-Socialists" and the West and South's "Pro-Capitalism" is good for the economy.

Name: Mike Alberts
Party: Green Party
Platform: The Green Party has never been elected into office, but is taken seriously by all other parties, due that most Jagadians are in support of a much cleaner enviroment. Mike is the former Minister of Enviroment of Former Highest Minister Aucoin, but was released after he left office. Alberts, in terms of Foreign Policy is all about supporting only nations that have a clean enviroment or are making serious movements towards it, to all other nations he seeks to keep good relations but urge them to clean their act up. In terms of social policy he abandons the raging battle of such things as Homosexual Marriage, Abortion, and Screening of All Entertainment. He has taken no offical stances on these issues, but is attempting to start a massive "enlightenment" campaign to teach the population about recyling and other such things, to keep the enviroment clean. In terms of economics, he is in favor of a much cleaner enviroment, and promises to switch the nation's power supply over to solar energy, despite protests from people within his party that state it would be dangerious.

Name: Ralph Montague
Party: Society Against God (SAG) Party
Platform: SAG's offical name is the "Athiest Party", but has used the terrorist organizations name as a way to gain support from some of the more radical athiests in Jagada. Ralph's background is shady and most unknown, he was in the military, but what he did isn't known. In terms of Foreign Policy, Montague is for supporting he calls "People's Will" Uprising in religious controlled or religious friendly nations. He also supporting helping Athiest nations put down any and all religious uprisings, not matter how right they may be. In terms of Social Policies, he offically supports Homosexual Marriage, Abortion, Banning of Religious Organizations, Banning religious buildings in all major cities, and banning religious peoples in certain areas of the country, primarily the North and East. He has openly stated that if elected he will decrease the number of religious buildings (churchs, mosques, ect, ect) by Sixty Percent before his term is done. He Social Policy Campaign is: "We've devolved into a blind society, let us evolve back into a real society!". In terms of economics his only quote on the matter was: "Pure Capitalism".

Name: Nathan Corcoran
Party: Jagadian People's Party (Communist Party)
Platform: While the Commonwealth has kept the Communist Party outlawed for over a century, it was under Former Highest Minister Aucoin that the banned was taken off, and thanks to the Liberal Party's foothold in the House of People, Highest Minister Norris' proposal to start the ban against was blocked. And even though all "Radical" Parties are banned in Jagada, the Communist Party managed to slip out of that list, thanks again to the Liberal Party. Nathan is former fishermen who joined the Communist Party some ten years ago and managed to take control of it. In terms of Foreign Policy, Corcoan is proposing supporting Communist Uprisings in other nations, along with generally supporting any Communist nation, though he has made an offical condemnation of all Facists nations. In terms of social policy, he believes that religion is simply a drug for the people and seeks to ban it altogether, and begin a revival of the people's will to spread communism. In terms of economic policy, he is all for a communist style of economics in what he calls "Economical Equality".
