Jack Robinson, ex-mayor of Lake Landing, now retired after three successful terms sighed as he woke up. Life was boring, it was time to face facts, he missed politics. He'd thought it would give him time for other things, but golf could get really boring very quickly. He was still called upon occasionally for advice, but that was getting more and more rare. He poked his stomach, which seemed to be growing by the day, despite his best efforts to keep it down. He rolled out of bed and headed off to the shower. After drying off and eating, he looked through the newspaper, looking for any part time jobs to keep him amused. His eye fell on an advert asking for politicians out on some island somewhere. Seemed nice, so he rang the number. Ten hours later, he was on the plane.
