The Hand of Tyr (Attn Dratheria, et al)

The Tyr System now belonged to Chronosia; a vast system with worlds rich for the taking. As ships plummeted through the atmosphere, it would be noted that they bore the insignia of the Chronosian Penal Corp. Prisoners of War, political prisoners and other fools were being taken, en mass to the worlds of Tyr. Others, including Dratherian crews who had been forced to these worlds, were now under the dominion of the Imperium. Little did they know what a tumultous destiyn awaited them; cogs in teh great machine; the great idea that the Emperor now strove towards.
What was this goal? To open the gates of hell itself? Perhaps...
Chaos in the flesh, now that was an ambition; a goal towards which to strive. He would remake his Empire and serve as true servants of Chaos. He would bring down the veil and for one glorious moment, show the Universe the true power of Chaos. He would unmake and remake...
He would damn and destroy countless; yet he would reforge them in the furnace of war. As he stood upon the deck of the Ecstacy, already undergoing repairs for the mighty gouges in its hull from Dratherian superfire....He smiled.
It begins...

a small gate rift opened, and a diamond and 3 spheres came out. They were the collective's observers for the event.
Then a MUCH larger one opened and 30 pyramids poured out of it, they were going to be active participants

"Begin....The world are ripe and ready to be assimilated. Each death and change shall be sanctified to the Gods. The entire galaxy will know of what we have done. Here, shall be the foundation; the foundry from which all our future enterprise begins..."

the pyramids took their positions and fired their planitary assimilation beams.

The result was that the atmosphere, the surface, and all life on the planet was changed on a moleclear level. All animal life grew cybernetic implants, all plant life was quickly decomposed, the atmosphere was changed from it's ntrogen/oxygen mix into methane, hydrocarbons and florine. Within 30 seconds, the planet was assimilated. The pyramids backed off for the next step.

The observational ships from the Imperium watched the world consumed by the Borg; sensed the rush of life and will from those being assimilated. This was the way, the triumph of the Machine over its enemies, and a grand sacrifice to Chaos. We this not the will of their gods? Was this not what was asked of them?

The borg ships hailed the chronesians "The planet has been assimilated. They are all one with the borg. Is there anything else you require of the pyramid vessels?"
OOC: Is there any possibility one of my patrols noticed a planet getting its entire ecosystem chopped up in a metaphorical blender?

OOC: If you like, though it is my system ;)
IC:
"Proceed with the plan, all shall become one with our glorious plan."
Communications were disengaged as the Commander turned to the Tech Priests. "What have you learned of Borg technology?"
"My Lord, we believe that soon we shall be able to hybridize our technology; allowing a signal to control the Borg Drones."
"Interesting."
"Indeed; once our preparations are made, we can show them the true glory of the Machine, and initialise the final stage of our plan."
"And that is?"
"All out Assimiliation war. Imagine what is occuring here, but on a larger scale; sowing terror and dissent, consuming the minds of entire populaces, before larger fleets are able to invade. We will shatter our enemies from without, and within....None shall stand against us."
The Oni class frigate Kagam sat quietly scanning the system. Normally Muktari ships didn't go near occupied systems without permission, but passive power levels to avoid detection and a design based on the rocky spires of Muktar made it seem like nothing but an innocent asteroid.
"Sir? Are you watching this?"
"What?"
"Pyramids just blasted that planet, about thirty of them. Totally shook up the ecosystem."
"Let me see."
The commander's jaw would have broken a hole in the floor if it hadn't stayed attached to the rest of his head. "That is rekking insane."
"Should we call for backup?"
"These guys would eat us alive. Move in steady to keep our rouse, waiting for them to make their next move. We do what we can to disrupt whatever they have planned next then bug out to bring reinforcements."
"Moving into position sir. Launching FIS."
As the ship started to change direction, a small explosion of scrap came from the side of the ship away from the planet in question, making it look like it had been redirected by a collision.
"Remind me to give my compliments to the chief engineer."

"Acknowledged... the fleet shall be arriving soon." only 10 seconds later a MASSIVE gate rift opened, the power of all three gates and countless portible emitters forcing it open

The entire borg fleet started pouring out, OMEGA, the Demonstar and both tactical fusion cubes were amung them the total drone count was over 50 million and over 1 million queens.

Just last year these fleets were on opposite sides in a war, and now they were going to fight one as one combined fleet. It would be a war to remember.
"Umm... sir?"
"Empty the missile tubes, fire all turrets with LOS, aim at the Chaos vessels. There's no way we are getting through the Borg shields. Get off a volley then 'boost out. Don't give the borg ships time to lock us down."
A seemingly innocent asteroid had rolled harmlessly into the perimeter between the Chaos and Borg ships. Suddenly, depleted uranium bullets and heat seeking missiles screamed out of the asteroid, sending a volley of hell at the chaos forces before the asteroid shuddered and vanished.
"Muktar Prime, this is Oni unit Kagam. We have a code red containment situation in the Tyr System, contact Sol and ready a strike force. The entire fleet of BLACKGRUE must be there with Chronosia."
"Understood, Kagam. State confirmation code."
"Screw the code, we need an army!"
"Code confirmed. Preparing the fleet now."

The shields of the vessel held, mild damage searing the hull as the discharge came at them; burning them, scorching them, but it would not destroy them.
"We have come under attack, sir" A servitor cowered at the Captains feet, watching his every move.
"Very well then, run scans on weapons debris, find out its point of origin, its makers; and then, they shall pay in blood. Send word to the Imperium; the ritual is in jeopardy, we must fortify the System"
"What do I have to work with?"
"A little under a dozen Titunacs. Enough Oni to fake a meteor shower, with our informant the Kagam at the head. Some Bakemonos will be functioning as troop transports to act as boarding parties, and we'll have as many Outriders as the Titunacs can carry."
"Any mercenaries?"
"Heavy fightercraft, the occasional corvette. One light cruiser that is heavily automated and used drone fighters with gatling lasers."
Admiral Arkun nodded as he entered the bridge of the Maktur, captial ship of the fleet. It had the full asteroid cover like the Oni instead of the front only like on a Titunac, and was slightly larger than the latter even with the decorative bulk.
"All ships, prepare to launch for the Tyr System. Have HQ call all nearby patrols to arrive there in three minutes for a wave of reinforcements. We need a courier to Sol to get international aid. Whatever is going on, it can't be good if BLACKGRUE and Chronosia are working together."
"All orders have been fulfilled, sir."
"Launch! Fire once we arrive, full batteries, and get the fighters ready to launch once we're there, too."

The borg detected the incoming arrival of the new ships and saw the first vessal fire upon their allies. Their senseors were re-tuned to detect lifesigns (which would make the asteroid ships stick out like sore thumbs) as the assimilator class vessels moved to overtake it, charging their auto-assimilation weapons.

OOC Muktar I cannot interfere in this directly as per agreement between me and Chron however I can offer you certain mercs or crime syndicate assisstance which are completely independent of the Sovereign Protectors of Dratheria to fight BLACKGRUE if only to settle an argument.
OOC: Relax, I have a plan for how this is going to go down that only depends on Chronosia reading his TGs.
IC:
"Admiral, the Borg ships look like they're getting ready to try assimiliation."
"Get our fleet to mix in the Chaos position, make them work to get a target."
"Yessir."
The Muktari fleet, mercenaries included, began to shift into the Chronosian fleet, using the Borg's allies as living shields. They began getting fired upon more by the Chronosians and lost a pair of Oni to Borg assimilation, but were otherwise avoiding the ship stealing beams.
At some point during the battle, a Muktari fightercraft BUMPed into the main Chronosian ship.

The ships continued their onslaught against the attackers; firing everythign they had; Warp cannons searing the fabric of space, even as fighters whirled and roared; missles and blasts filling the void.
The ritual was nearing completion, the assimilation of all life, would be a great gift. The Sorcerors had just finished invoking the blessing of Slaanesh, when a rogue blast took the vessel apart; sending great throngs of Chaotic, arcane ergy through the void, tearing at surrounding ships, searing their hulls with blazing sigils of Slaanesh, before the blast hurtled towards the enemy....
OOC:Any chance I could get involved? i don't have a good FT battle at the moment and am anxious for one.

OOC: Well, since I own the system, I really fail to see how its anyone elses business....but sure, what the hell
OOC:That's exactly the reason! Yaforites believe they are "Protectors of the Galaxy" (boy aren't they puffed up) as you should know. Even though we helped you in the Dratherian conflict, we still hate you...though if you don't want me, I won't post.

It was a massive force, a veteran war machine, capabel of destroying all but the best that Chronosia could send at them. They entered the system, raidar up, stolidly cautious...
OOC:Blearg. Crappy post.
"Admiral Arkun, there's an anomaly coming from one of the enemy vessels!"
"Masakari Unka, give me an analysis!"
Putting on a pair of special goggles, the Masakari looked over the blast, then turned toward the commander. "I suggest putting paper bags over our heads and lying down."
"Fuck."
As the blast struck the Muktari vessels, the ships began to transform. The Outriders turned a dark purple and streamlined into needle-like fighters with beam weapons. The belly missiles on Bakemonos shifted around the vessel as it warped until they became trios of curved razor wings, and the turrets became particle beams. The Onis became two different types of grapple-shaped frigates. One class was covered with missile turrets, the other was built around an immense particle blaster. The Titunacs underwent the most remarkable changes, turning black flecked white with blue and purple razors jutting out all over it. The Maktur transformed into a black, blue, and purple vessel designed to resemble a dragon.
Aboard each ship, minds and bodies warped too. Commanders become arrogant, ambitious, and persuasive. Their bodies became taller, leaner, less hairy, and soon resembled slightly pale versions of normal humans. Infantry armor warped in a similiar manner the ships did, and their weapons became particle rifles. Throughout the fleet, however, the symbols of Slaanesh were prevalent, especially on the "forehead" of the draconic form of the Maktur.
On the bridge, the Admiral had undergone the greatest transformation. Eight feet tall, with purple skin, blue hair, and mediveal black armor, he had become a Daemon Prince. He immediately noticed Unka was still in her normal form. He noticed electricity snapping across his hand, then pointed at the Masakari. Although her training allowed her to resist, her body was soon rent asunder by her own convulsions.
"Order all ships to redirect fire on the new fleet and to kill any Masakaris in the fleet. We are to return to Muktar to expend the excess energy of the miscast."
So saying, the Maktur used its new systems to enter the Warp and head home, leaving the new Slaaneshi fleet to focus fire on the new intruders.
OOC: Off for the night, so I'm throwing in the grand finale ahead of schedule.
IC:
As the Maktur arrived in the Muktar System, arcane power from the Warp came in its wake. As it stopped, the Warp energy splashed out before it.
Seeing this power, Daemon Prince Arkun reached out with mind and body, extending the power of the Warp throughout the system, fueled by the remnant influence of the spell that transformed his fleet.
"From a people without meaning, I forge a throne for a god! Slaanesh, fill this systen with your presence and consume the stars themselves!"
The energy hit Muktar 5 first. This icy planet was the furthest out and was a constant pale blue. When the Warp Pulse struck, however, the ice turned jet black, and reflections of the Warp could be seen in the ice.
Muktar 4 was a gas giant that masked the view of the blast's influence from the other planets, at least until it turned from dirty yellow to purple with blue lightning arcing across the strasosphere. This was visible to the other planet's observation systems, and caused a stir.
Muktar 3 was next, a jungle world who's orbital colony only just got word when the blast hit. The plants become groping tentacles and razor maws melded to the warped black soil, and the wildlife become mutant spawn of Chaos itself.
Muktar Prime managed to fire a few missiles, but these were destroyed by the wave right before it struck. The local repile avian were destroyed from within as Furies ripped out of their bodies, and the kelp farms turned into fields of lashing tentacles ripping out of the water. The terrain and water turned midnight blue, and the steel cities turned jet black with banners of Slaanesh as the people took on the same form and mindset as the crew of the Maktur.
Muktar 1 was a volcanic planet, now with blue rock and purple magma, and the skies are filled with draconic beasts warped by chaos.
The greatest change, however, was the last one. The blast hit the sun, and it transformed into a burning beacon of indigo, pulsing with solar flares of purple and blue.
"And now, the Muktar System belongs to Slaanesh."
"Praise be to the Prince of Darkness! Hail to Slaanesh!"
The crew made the call in Arkun's presence, but it was echoed on the surface of Muktar Prime, and the now twisted orbital colonies throughout the system.
"I want all the Masakari dead. Any ships that were out are to be destroyed. I want this conquest to be absolute."
Meanwhile, in the Tyr system, the new fleet was under fire from particle beams. The heavier vessels were being targetted by the beam frigates, the missile frigates spread fire over entire fighter squadrons, the lighter ships harried bulky ships that had trouble targetting them, and the cruisers fired on whatever was convenient.
"For Slaanesh!"
After a few minutes a fighting, the Muktari ships began to Warp out. The last of them sent the following to Chronosia:
Thank you for the presence of a god. We must now ensure Muktar remains one.
A little bumpy for Chronosia to respond to my attack.
