“The Czar is dead, the Czar is dead!” the evening edition of the CCN radio station screamed. “Late last night Czar Yoni had a massive stroke, and was rushed to the hospital. Early this morning he was announced dead. Details to follow. Princess Jacquelyn-now Empress-addressed a concerned crowed in front of Capitol House (ooc- same as the white house of the US),’People of Concador, I am sorry to tell you the terrible news… my father…is dead. *sounds of crowd crying out, she sniffles* I come before you not as Empress, but a fellow mourner. My father was a wonderful Head of State and parent.’ She then went into the Capitol House to discuss matters with her advisors. Afterwards she entered the Congressional Building for a joint session, in which she outlined her plan to lead Concador, and to have them pass the budget she put forth. We know go live to a public broadcast from our new Empress: ‘Fellow Concadorians, I ask that you may pick up my father’s legacy, with me, out of the dust of his death. He wanted Concador to be a safe, moralistic, haven—and I intend to continue on in fulfilling his dream. Firstly I know that while we abhor war, we must be able to defend ourselves. Therefore, we will commence in the building of our navy. We will make more friends in the world. We will become a great nation, a nation of equality, a nation of freedom for all. OOC: I ask any nations who are willing to help with a navy (I want to be able to transport a couple of hundred thousand men over water, with escort ships). Also, state here if you want to open an embassy within Concador for an alliance.
