The Generalissimo was unavailable for comment."

The Empire has noticed that over the past several months that the once esteemed personage, Generallissimo J.L. has been showing signs of instability. He has developed a tendency to initiate democratic reforms and then promptly reverse them is very unsettling to the Imperial government, and with the public outcry over these recent anti-slavery edicts, the Empire is becoming more and more doubtful of J.L.'s ability to lead Roach-Busters. Therefore, the Empire has decided that the best course of action at the time may be to install a more competent leadership in Roach-Busters, at least until the Generallissimo regains his senses.

Emperor Antonius has hereby auithorized the deployment of the 3rd Imperial Army to Roach-Busters to oversee and ensure a peaceful transition of power for the benefit of the people of Roach-Busters and the preservation of Imperial relations with the RB government.

In short, WAR! Have a nice day.

Twenty of the thirty Shoobans serving the Parthian embassy in RB city had been rounded up as the news broke with the remaining ten slaves fleeing out of the gates. Parthian citizens crowded in the compound, worried about the continued degrading of the nation. These twenty were brought into the courtyard, with the tall tress stretching above the fence. From these trees, ropes attached to the necks of several unfortunate Shoobans, men on the other side of the rope would pull and lift the Shoobans up, strangling them. Other shoobans were impaled and then set upon the fence or bound by hand and foot and shot from catapaults.

It was a short trip from the Imperial naval facilities in the South Generian Sea to the Roach-Busters sub-continent, lying just off the general body of the CAD, south of Wirraway and west of the Dracun Imperium. Now, under the warm sun and clear blue of the south sea skies, the hulls of the Imperial warships of the first Alexian task force cut through the calm seas towards the territorial waters of that longstanding ally of the Internal Combustion Engine of Generia, Roach-Busters.

Admiral Rostislav Vlademska had been expressly directed to engage any forces that attempted to block the progress of the 3rd fleet, be they the RB navy, or the supporters of the Generallissimo's reforms. These were uncertain times, and it was very possible that soldiers who were once considered friends and compatriots of Generia would now become bitter enemies. If the Generllissimo still held any sway over his generals and admirals, despite the fact that large portions of the populace believed him to be as mad as a hatter, this so called peaceful transition of power could become a very bloody and messy affair. Still, it was the job of the Empire to make it as clean an operations as possible, and if Vlademska had anything to do with it, that is how Operation: Powerslave would play out.

The Imperial warships had officially crossed into the territorial waters of Roach-Busters, and now moved into positions along the western coast. Aboard the G.I.S. Crowley, two dozen GH-2 assault helicopters readied for takeoff. 288 Black Guardsmen sat silently in the troop compartments of the choppers, faces painted, eyes empty and detached. They focused on the mission ahead, entering the R.B. presidential palace, and securing the grounds for the coming extraction of the Generallissimo, who, it had just been determined, had suffered a stroke.

Still, the Empire had decided it would be best that J.L. be taken into its own hands, lest the diagnosis be a facade by the Marxists who had recently sworn allegiance to the Generallissimo's new reforms. The announcement by Thomas Goth had caught Grand Chancellor Grey off guard. The Grand Chancellor had never expected a Chancellor to announce military mobilization, without telling anybody. The counter speech was now ready.

A constitutional crisis had emerged, and Farmina was one step closer to the abyss.
