First Imternational Slave-Owners Conference begins!!!
To a fanfare of trumpets, the Emperor of Carops took to the podium with his six green-robes attendants to address the various nations gathered for the first International Slave-Owners' Conference. The atmosphere was muffled and stuffy, possibly due to the size of the audience and he struggled to concentrate on his short speech as the heat bore down on him.
"And so I procliam the first International Slave-Owners' Conference, sponsered by the Imperial Bank of Carops, open," he finished, wiping his brow.
A combination of applause and private conversations filled the room as he struggled back down to his seat and took deep breaths

of course, Repressionia are represented by Wassily Kaporti, the (slave) trade minister.
"There is one question to be debated, though", he says, "should the type of work the slave is set to do affect the amount of insurance money paid out? We've had a rather nasty court case here, wether Repressionia Basket Co. has a right to insurance money after they sent slaves to investigate the sulphuric acid container and didn't tell them that It was soon to be refilled. 38 men and 12 women died, at an estimated value of 56700 pebbles each. The insurance company didn't want to pay them and I was given the task of hearing with my international colleagues"
He sits down again after taking a curious look at the crowd.
Thormond Rethmorian, represntative of the Carops' Imperial Uranium Export Corporation thanks his honourable friend for making this point.
"The international banks are constantly discriminating against us," he grumbled, "We must form our own insurance corporation to protect our rights now. Slaves are property and when property is damaged or lost, the owner has the right to compensation." Applause.
