High Marshal of the Holy Order, Alfred Viborg

The holy army is containing 150 000 men.
Divided into 3 Army Division.
They each have several armored brigades.
And several other brigades, such as knights, priests, artillery ect.

The Army is lead by me, High Marshal Alfred Viborg.
The three army divisions is lead by:
1st Army Division - Marshal Fredrik Bonnedahl
2nd Army Division - Marshal Charles Bonnedahl
3rd Army Division - Marshal Richard Himmerdahl

Each brigade has an Brigade Marshal assigned to them.
Squads and other patrolls are lead by Knights
Knights are appointed by the King/Archbishop

The Basic Small Arms of a Holy soldier is:

STEYR AUG Assault Rifle
Beretta 9mm
Kevlar Vest & Kevlar Helmet
Holy Bible
A bottle of Holy Water

M16A4
Desert Eagle

Holy Bible

Written pamplet from the king/archbishop
Golden Crucifix


The Main Battle tank of the Holy Order is:

Leopard 2A6
Leopard 2A5
Leopard 2A4


The Main Artillery/Anti Armor/Anti Air of the Holy Order is:

CRUSADER 155MM SELF PROPELLED HOWITZER
TRIGAT MR/TRIGAN ANTI-ARMOUR MISSILE
LAV-AD LIGHT ARMOURED VEHICLE AIR DEFENSE


There is a compulsory duty to join the army for a year or three. Depending on the foreign status.

We have to wonder how you deal with messages between the Brigade Marshel and the knights. We also wonder what the point of the Bible as well as the pamplet and golden crucifix of the knights. Would it not be simpler to outfit all forces with the same weaponry, or at least weapons with interchangable ammunition by outfitting your commanders/squad leaders with different weapons then it is almost asking for snipers to take potshots at your chain of command.

What's with putting more weight on your soldiers by making them carry a bible?

It's not like it's gonna stop a bullet.

The Crucifix is around their necks and the bibles is in pocket size to ensure minimal weight. And the meaning of these items is just to ensure that they have the lord beside them. So they will fight for the lord and the holy order.
About your question, the Knights is our most elite soldiers. They don't usally parcitipate in large numbers on the battlefield. They just give orders to squads and patrolls. But when they do join large battles they use the same weapons as a holy soldier.

So what are you going to fight. Zombies, Vampires, or anything that isn't Christian.

We are a modern christian nation. I'm not christian myself but i thought i would be cool to create a Modern Holy Order. And we are gonna fight other nations like normal but only under the wings of the lord...

Are the Crucifix worn inside or outside the clothing, if outside, they are asking for sniper bullets.
Also the Crucifix would be looted by soldiers, whenever the knights got killed.

OOC: Yeesh, guys, stop wailing on him. =P Just let his troops carry whatever he pleases. Plus, we're talking about another crusader army. If people get that non-sensical about launching another crusade, after what happened at Hattin and with Saladin and Nur Al Din, what makes you think they're gonna tear away the cross and the bible for that?

I mean, as much as I'd like this to be held up. Something tells me that Emmitia is on the other end of this upcoming crusade. Should I put my forces on alert, and mobilize my two reed boats, Sweden? =P

It may just be a crusade of freedom, or a crusade of enslavement... who knows? :rolleyes:

And btw, Theao.. We are working on a device that will secure the crucifix. If it's removed from the neclace it will self explode within 3 seconds. It will have enough power to kill anyone near it.
This also mean that the Knights cannot remove it.
