The IPO-70 Conqueror Attack Helicopter is the first helicopter gunship to be designed and constructed in Praetonia for several decades and the second design from Imperial Praetonian Ordinance to be released onto the world market. The helicopter carries an advanced array of the latest Praetonian weaponary, including the 32mm Autocannon which has been converted from naval use and the new SMAT II missile. The Autocannon is capable of firing up to 650 rounds per minute, although it can also fire single shots and 3 and 5 round bursts. The SMAT II is an advanced fire-and-forget missile programmed for top-attack maneuvers against battletanks, rendering any MBT in the world vulnerable to the Conqueror's firepower.

In addition to advanced weaponary, the Conqueror is fitted with advanced sensor and computer systems. A search radar mounted above the rotor blades and a milimetre-band radar mounted in the nose provides the Conqueror with an all-round field of 'vision' even when hiding behind obstacles such as trees. The helicopter is equipped with an impressive array of countermeasures, including ECM systems and advanced decoys, as well as armour capable of repelling small-arms fire. The Conqueror's twin-engines also provide considerable power and speed, even with the heavy weapons load which includes AAMs.

"Imperial Praetonian Ordinance today confirmed that production rights to the new IPO-70 Conqueror Attack Helicopter would be sold for an impressive total of $1 trillion to UNIverseVERSE. This move comes in the wake of extensive commercial success enjoyed by the Badger LSV, and the large nationalised arms company is hoping to make big gains with the Conqueror:

' The Badger was a remarkable success, and has propelled us into a great many other things, the first of which to be released is the Conqueror Attack Helicopter. I'm very pleased that it's done so well so quickly, and doubly pleased that the Government has been able to make a one-off exception to our arms embargo of Roach-Busters allowing us to sell them the 1,000 requested helicopters.

"The move to sell to Roach-Busters, which suprised many political analysts and did not go unchallenged in Parliament, came in the wake of major improvements made to the political and civil rights of people living in Roach-Busters. One Government minister commented yesterday that:

"Imperial Praetonian Ordinance has just announced that mere hours after two large deals were signed with Roach-Busters and UNIverseVERSE, another major contract has been won by the IPO-70 Conqueror Attack Helicopter. This time providing helicopters to the Republic of Skinny87, the helicopter factory at Praextremis is already working over-capacity and a new plant is scheduled to be built in Praefele. Imperial Praetonian Ordinance is apparently delighted at the deal, and says it intends to use the profit from these sales to spring-board the production of an improved Praetonian domestic version to be supplies solely to the Imperial Guard."

The Empire of Cotland wishes to purchase a total of five hundred units of the IPO-70 "Conqueror" helicopter gunship for use in the ranks of the Border Police. In this role, the units are almost certain to experience combat within a very short period of time. It is our belief that these units will give the Border Police a stronger and more effective mean to halt the smuggling, illegal imports and illegal immigration to Cotland.

The total sum of $15 billion will be wired to the Imperial Praetonian Ordinances account as soon as a confirmation has been recieved.

Imperial Praetonian Ordinance - Conqueror Sales Continue to Rise

"Imperial Praetonian Ordinance has announced a further order for the new Conqueror Attack Helicopter, this time of 500 units for the Cotlandi border police. Imperial Praetonian Ordinance has welcomed the order from a nation that has been an Imperial Praetonian Shipyards customer for many years, and uses IPS missiles on their indigenous ship designs. An IPO spokesman said earlier today:

'We're starting to make a name for ourselves outside of the shipyard market. Many nations associate Praetonia with ships, but Praetonian land-based and aerial products have also proved first-rate. The Conqueror is hard proof that Praetonian industry can be successful in the competitive non-naval arms markets.'

"Imperial Praetonian Ordinance has announced the start of work on the Hoplite II (domestic) and Hoplite-E (export) main battle tanks, as well as a new improved version of the Conqueror and work on a heavy assault tank, which is rumoured to be sporting a short-barrelled 165mm cannon."
