President Surives Attempted Murder
A man shot at the President's car wounded him. Pres.Handstand is in good health at a hospital. The man, who police believe to be a anti-liberal shot the President with a .30-06 rifle in the arm. The police are looking for the man.

Secretary of State Is In The Hospital
Mr. Romanov is in the hospital after suffering a blackout from hitting his head on a light pole. He was running when slipped and hit a light pole on 2nd and Handstsand St. He was ok and will be send home soon.

Big Suprise in Liberia
Liberians woke up this moring to see members of the MSOR training for landing operations. The Navy stated that this operation was approve by both governments before hand.

Gregory Zunov read over the foreign paper with mild interest. It held more information than the international report, but had a real nasty dialect. He looked up at his siblings and all their children of age.
"Do you smell something?"
"Money."
"Blood."
"Opportunity."
"Correct on all three, but that isn't what I was smelling. I was smelling a threat."
"This does not involve us, so you must be talking abo- oh."
"Oh is right. If the assassins catch word of this, they may go international and become impossible to contain. Their catching word of this is inevitable, so we need to keep them locked out of this affair. It may cut into security at home, but it will be worthwhile."
"The other families may follow suit. This will weaken security even further."
"Then we contact the Juuni and Warev families, tell them to keep watch in the borders at all times to ensure our numbers stay up."
"What if the assassins kill their leader?"
"Then everyone in this room is as good as dead."

Jonathan grinned as he read the paper. "They want to keep us out of foreign affairs, it seems. Eight of the Guild families have offered protection services to this Brydog president."
Zachary grinned, polishing a punching dagger. "Now, why would we kill someone for free?"
Jonathan nodded. "You're absolutely right. Figure out who's behind the attempt and offer our services. The Guild War is no longer bound to the shadows of Uriv."

Romanov is President
Alexander Romanov was given the office after John Handstand retired. Mr. Romanov is very happy about his new job, this is the first time the BLP has held the office.
