Weishaupt Nano-Industries Declares Embargo on Space Union
Today, the board of directors of Weishaupt Nano-Industries has unanimously voted to enact an embargo on all goods going to the Space Union from the Ankhmeti territories, and any SU goods being imported. The reasoning for this decision is unknown, but may have something to do with an attempt at an economic heavy blow, given the $47 billion trade deficit the SU is suffering.
CEO Johann Weishaupt is refusing to make a statement at this time, but all corporate security forces are on high alert, and the provisional Ankhmeti Goverment has been given what amounts to an order to mobilise in case of attack.

I'm am sickened to hear that your nation is putting a embargo against us. Our trade deficit shouldn't be a problem to you. We want you to hearby give up your embargo or face action against us. Your claims are redicoulous reasons.

I give the CEO of Ankhmet, 24 hrs to lift the embargo. If they do not, it will hurt them more than us, for we can always open trade with others as your subsitute. I also advice all Space Union citizens to leave the Dictatorship of Ankhmet. They are at their own risk by staying the that crackpot country. Be warned.

We cannot, and will not lift this embargo. It does not hurt us at all, it only hurts those who we dislike. Recently WNI has made commercial links with enough nations to carry this out without hurting our own economy. All products sold in the Space Union have been shut down, and product recalls issued.
