The following text is a transcript from an Echelon XIII intercept from a phone call made in Northern Ankhmet.



MAN:Oh Christ...Uh...Oh God...something just crashed into our village....It..It just...

OPERATOR:Calm down sir. What happened?

MAN:A great big...Thing...It just flew into the centre of our town.... A blinding flash of light...Then nothing. Just wreckage, lots of it!

OPERATOR:Could it have been a plane? Please be specific sir, this could be important.

MAN: No...Too fast even for WNI drones.

OPERATOR: An emergency rescue crew is headed your way. Please stay on the line so we can establish a trace.

MAN: Something's coming... It's tall.... It... OH MY GOD!

OPERATOR: Sir? Sir?

Two days later what we presume was an E.T. has been recovered. It is at least six feet tall and humanoid, and slender. It has some 'lion-like' facial features, and some kind of tribal tattoos all over the body. It appears to be female. It has made some attempts at contact, and hasn't attempted any violence against our people. Given the almost friendly nature of the beast, we would like to offer one government official the chance to observe this creature. They must be civilian and unarmed. The Emperor of Concremo himself would like to take a personal interest in this event for undisclosed reasons. We request that he has two bodyguard, but all of them shall be unarmed. Please let us know of the circumstances in which we can arrange a meeting.

The Emperor would be welcomed to our supertower HQ in Hong Kong. Simply look for the tallest building. The helipad at the top is ready for use, and you can arrive at any point you wish over the next two months. We estimate that without some adaptation of our nanotechnology we may be unable to keep the being alive much longer than that.

The Emperor shall be attending before the end of this week, but in light of recent international hostilities requests the presence of armed guards. Whether these are from Concremo or Ankhmet is trivial, but we need people we can trust.
A request from the High Daesus (ooc: government) is that DNA is taken from this supposed extra terrestrial for us to study, also, if it would not be inconvenient we would like some Human DNA from a prime specimen. Money can change hands for both requests, but if money is not what you need then we have other things of value.
Whether the find presents interest or not, we would like to establish a long lasting alliance with Ankhmet outside of International groups and the like.

ooc:Yup, it is MT, and my evil alliance is still open :). At the moment I'm working on the invisionboard.

Concremo may take DNA samples from the ET and an unaltered human specimen. The wish to bring bodyguards is understandable, and there has been no objection from the board of directors. They have also expressed an interest in establishing long-lasting and positive relations with your nation, and hope that such possibilities can be explored during your visit.

We thank you for your gracious understanding, and we take an interest in any unification programs that you start. We are aware of your current situiation with 'Space Union', and assure you that we shall gladly fill the viod in trading terms. As for your nano-industry, our modified stewart platforms are proving unreasonable. We ask to accompany the Emperor with four scientists that can look into your Nano-Technology for inspiration. They shall not be leaving with the emperor, and if its possible they would like to stay for some time.

The Emperor strides confidently towards his modified 'Hurricane' dropship, and sits alongside the pilot. Four lab-coat scientists each have a small case of personal belongings and research notes, and finally two armed bodyguards weilding Combi-Rifles* and wearing Titanium Plate Armour board the aircraft and strap in. The VTOL craft takes off, and follows co-ordinates to Ankhmet.

The government of R.O.A.S. would like the opportunity to send a small team of scientists to Ankhmet, to be accompanied by our government's science section chief. The team would bear only non-lethal self defense munitions, if you will allow us. We would, if at all possible, like to obtain non-invasive blood and tissue samples as well as examine the crash site.

In exchange, we would of course share the findings of our research. The Republic of Aligned Statehoods' main product is scientific research and development of advanced technologies.

The board of directors is overjoyed to hear your willingness to help WNI in trade, and hopes that we both benefit greatly from such a trade partnership. We will gladly supply your scienists with whatever they need in the way of 'inspiring technology'. Our scientific department is very interested in your genetic engineering technology, and would like to see some of your technology, if it is not too intrusive.

Aligned Statehoods
We will agree to your requests. You are wise to request some weaponry, as we do not know if our ET is friendly or not. We will suply you with tissue and blood samples, and you will be allowed to examine some sections of the crash site. i hope you understand that there is some very sensitive technology there, and we cannot allow full access.

The helo will be disembarking from the Research Vessel Mikelsh (RV-211) which is enroute to the South China Sea. Once the Mikelsh is in place you will be contacted for a landing zone location and protocol.

OOC: The helo carries a complement of 3 crew, 3 scientists, 3 marines, 1 section chief, and 300 lbs of cargo. The marines are armed with what appear to be tactical shotguns. The scientists are carrying personal protective equipment and scientific sampling & preservation equipment in pelican hard cases.

IF THE ET COMES TO ANY HARM WNI WILL PROSECUTE GOVERNMENTS INVOLVED IN INTERNATIONAL COURTS, AND CORPORATE MILITARY FORCES MAY BE DEPLOYED.

We understand your concern for the safety of the extraterrestrial. The sole reason for the armament my men are carrying is self defense. The tactical shotguns they will be carrying for this excursion will be loaded only with rubber ball suppression rounds. Although the marines may carry live munitions with the permission of their commanding officer, their weapons will not be chambered with lethal rounds unless an incident requiring the defense of our scientists, or yours becomes necessary. You may excercise due caution and require the marines to clear their weapons in your staffs presence in order to verify the chambered ammunition prior to leaving our helo.

I have nothing but faith in my scientists and the military members chosen for guard duty for this operation. The Republic of Aligned Statehoods has a primary national committment to research and takes full responsibility for the conduct of it's representatives. They will take action in only self defense of others in the event an incident involving hostility from the extraterrestrial against our staff or yours.
